I'm just waiting for it to be officially implemented with EEVEE Next or whatever they're calling it. But it's still great to basically get a preview with projects like this.
Well this node group is great and all that, but I'm blown away just learning that we can have multiple material outputs for different rendering engines. I had no idea!
THANK YOU, this is epic. As someone with a very potato computer that would NOT work with Cycles, being able to get a nice looking result in Eevee like that is mindblowing, this is why i'm yelling so much hahah
If you want to utilize GPU rendering stick to Nvidia GPUs. They are much faster and most importantly much widely supported by GPU engines. Cycles in Blender only works with Nvidia Cuda framework.
@@Villager_U the problem with that is dynamic scenes, I had to render out an office with very dynamic lighting and it being destroyed, and i had to rebake the lighting every few hundred frames

It's been officially implenented at least since 2.8
@@ChillaxeMake he meant raytraced mf
@@juancarlosgzrz Yeah, it's already in Eevee, it's called Screen Space Reflections.
@@ChillaxeMake Screen space reflections != screen space global illumination ;-)

One of Blender’s beat feature. You could set up an entire asset library to works both on Octane & Cycles

This thing is very cool. The tools Blender make never cease to amaze me. Thank you for bringing this up
That "Pedro" guy sure is nice ;-)
This is pretty cool. I dont think its gonna replace cycles or kill it atleast not yet but if you want to have an inbetween its very useful
I've been checking the "eevee-rewrite Builds" page every day since March, and I'm still waiting on milestone updates from the team.
can't wait to try this for myself. thanks. (and the caustics are crazy!)
The caustics look great.
The SSGI plugin works just as good with the GI. And it's on the entire scene not on every object's shader which you'll need to tweak.
I have been using this since beginning and its been very helpful.
SSRT 0.4 is out with improvements!
What a lovely human being
I'm really confused now. What does "Screen space reflections" options do do in Eevee if we need this?
Is this based on screen space? If so is this better than SSGI?
Btw ty for sharing and great work for the creator of this
I have same doubt
@ModuMaru did you tested both??
This is what I was wondering.
i kindof hope this becomes native in Blender in the future
I'm hyped up dude
Love this man
Thank you so much!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
SSRT 0.3 is out fixed some bugs , quality improvement.
ssgi and ssrt that strong
Nice. Very nice... Let's see Paul Allen's ray tracing..
This is WOW
Oh damn nice!
First SSGI now SSRT WOW
SSGI seems better tho...at least the one integrated in the blender fork.
Can confirm that ssrt is better
LOL.. Well Shit.
Guess I'll end up having to rebuild ALL of my Cycles SSS stuff in Eevee when this is fully completed.
hope eevee next will done next moment~
OP!!!!
Screen Space effects :/ I can't wait for the real real-time RT implementation to Eevee though.
Is that coming officiall in future
Isn’t that cycles ;)
Anyone know how this compares to SSGI, or even UE5's lumen, guys?
All I know is Lumen, together with raytraced shadows, is the chef's kiss.
...how well does this stack against ProRender engine?
Any word on Eevee's Anisotropic shader yet?
SSGI vs this which one looks better?
amazing 😍
Rtx comes to eevee
Sir is 6700xt good for blender and 3d applications or should i buy 3060ti?

I Want something like lumen in blender it will be so nice
is it possible to get around the limitation of screen-space by rendering in 360 degrees?
Prebaked irradiance volume probe

One step closer to real real time ray tracing
:V
OMG That's coooollllll
Cool but why can't they incorporate it into the next version of Blender? (so everyone get it as a built in thing)
How it differs from SSGI?
6:15 OH WAIT WHAT??
What kind of pc do you have?
Holy moly, I have started learning for this UE5 but i see blender gona kill cycles
ue5 is completely different
Light with emissive?
fucking awsome!!i am waitttttttttttting for 1111111111111111111111 million yeas!!!!
i found that it made eerything look little metallic how can I fix it?
whats different from SSGI ?
ok damnnnn
Does it works with Blender 2.90 or Blender 3.0 ?
@@gamingtemplar9893 Ok thanks
how to reduce the noise on the shader ?
That damn light bleed in the corners. Btw solidify doesn't fix it.
EEVEE IS EVOLVING BUT THIS IS NOT POKEMON
*umbreon enters chat*
Can i do this in cycles?
Cycles already dos that ;-)
sa here
DOES THIS WORK IN MAC?
Most likely.
No guarantee ofc ;-)
sometime it looks too shiny
they will probably fix that
3D Italian flag
This work is very valuable, but not “pretty similar” to cycles.
it actually better NGL
eevee o cycles????
what of ssgi i thought it did something similar
is this same as ssgi?
Lol so cycles is about to become obsolete
No.
@@slandgkearth Especially if you need to do this for all the objects.
lmms or sotNice tutorialng.
lol
