Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

When he killed the two smugglers, he could have taken ALL of the money, but he gives it back to the people in the van and even tells them sorry and a heads up that they need to find a new route, he didnt even need to tell them that. You can tell hiward was going to try and save them by talking lalo out of it. I think they should have let him speak a bit showing that he was a better man trying to get him to spare kim and jimmy.

I saw video on someone saying that the way lalo acts might have to do with the way he was raised(obviously) ontop of being some form of autistic that caused him to have incredible intelligence, extreme concentration and lack of emotional availability toward anyone and it's what caused him to be so easily ruthless and that's where gus and lalo where the perfect opposites (the guy all theorized he has some form autism) that causes extreme orderlyness, over planning etc.

    • @VCthaGOATdunker

Lalo autistic? Highly unlikely. Gus is more likely but most people pass it off as OCD, as he too has such a vast amount of social intelligence. Both have shown the ability to deeply care about others, but Lalo far more as he loves not just his direct relatives but many others in his life.
