Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

No Emmy win for that speech in Winner is the most disgusting act in history
Such great acting from Odenkirk
What a sick joke!
Other than that Jimmy fell on the sword just to impress the chick who ruined his life.
dude come on. be realistic!
@@hastyhillfarmand4x480what? No, buddy. It was a promise to himself and Kim, the very reason for beginning and end. It was shouting to Kim, that he is still and always will be Jimmy, who goes anywhere for the only person who believed that he has righteous heart in root. Just like he risked his life for two board scammers. Even though he was corrupted by cartel, Gus, WW, and money.
I know it isn’t technically a monologue, but if you do a video on “Saul’s Greatest Bullshit Stories”, Squat Cobbler deserves #1 slot.
The Chicago sunroof speech is just magnificent, even outside the greater context of the series.
‘Marco’ is pretty meh overall for a season finale, but that scene is absolutely one of my favorite moments in the show.
"Guy wanted some soft serve, I gave him some soft serve.. I did not know, that his children were in the back seat. There was a level of tint on the windows that I''ll maintain to this day, was not legal in an Illinois licensed vehicle. But SOMEHOW, that's on me, I guess." Absolutely love that part lol
One. little. Chicago Sunroof. and suddenly, I'M CHARLES MANSON?!
When he is talking to Marie, in the past he asked his office assistant to call her husband pretending Marie had an accident 😂
And that time when he said “Is that like where your mom works at? Did she still offer 2 4 1 discount?”
@@nont18411 ahaha indeed!!
He and Jonathan Banks were robbed of their Emmys for their performances in the winner episode. Both Outstanding performances in that episode
Who did they lose to?
@@jonbourgoin182well Jonathan Banks lost to Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister). Although Peter was outstanding too and won multiple emmys. He himself went on stage and directly named Jonathan that he deserved it more and he didn't expected himself to take the award. That year, Jonathan deserved better.
@@jonbourgoin182and Bob Odenkirk.. Man he got 5 nominations but won none. His 6th is up for grabs next emmy. His last chance. So does Rhea Seehorn at the next emmys.
Chuck didn't doubt that Jimmy's emotions were real.
When he tells that girl “you don’t matter All that much to them so what”… it’s a throwback to when Jimmy tried to make up with Chuck and he straight up told Jimmy that he never mattered that much to him so sad
You can’t conceive what I’m capable of!!!
I'M SO FAR BEYOND YOUU! XD
IM LIKE A GOD IN HUMAN CLOTHING
LIGHTNING SHOOTS FROM MY FINGERTIPS!!
Better call Saul is my favorite tv show and I don’t think it’s ever gonna change
The speech in winner is one of my favorite moments in all of tv
Brillant actor. Love Jimmy McGill! Great writing, great acting.
Better Call Saul greatly enriches Breaking Bad
The "Walter White wouldn't have make it without me" is a hell of a speech
Lightning bolts sounds like Dennis Reynolds.
No Saul gone testimony?
gene's scene in Nippy still hurts
Bravo Bob 👏👏👏
Greatest character in TV history
HE DESERVED AN EMMY GOD DAMNIT
Who/what TV show did he lose the Emmy to? Genuinely curious
@@jonbourgoin182 THE ACTOR FROM SQUID GAME!
Super cool that they ran the Tuco Pop Corners ad during the Tuco scene lol
The winner takes it all.
What a chicanery
“Jerry’s fault! Jerry’s fault!”
& suddenly im Charles Mansion?!
Lightning Bolts
Its all good man.
None of you probably don’t care but if you’re curious to the Better Call Saul complete kill count, you cant watch it on my channel😎
Most of these are Jimmy though. Is it just brand recognition?
They're literally the same person
Saul is just a facade Jimmy puts on, or a pseudonym symbolising how he changes as a person
This show isn't about multiple personalities
@@ramhthewatermelonare you slow?
@@ramhthewatermelonok wise guy, obviously Jimmy doesn't have multiple personality disorder like the guy from Split, but theres a distinct difference in the way Jimmy carries himself and how the Saul persona he dons carries himself
@@thesnazzmaster well obviously yeah that's the whole point of the show, he will act differently at different moments of his life because he changes
Saul wasn’t really a monologuer. He was more of a one liner and then straight to business type of guy.
It wasn't me
a colorful man in a black and white world. Jimmy Mcgill. best character i’ve ever seen.
