I love Lisa's recipes, that's how I started with sourdough, even made my starter following her instructions. I too, romanticize my life. Last night, I made put my diffuser on, made soup and read. What a beautiful life.
I bulk make plain and herbed sourdough pizza crust and store them in the freezer and pull out a couple each time we want pizza. I also bulk make sourdough waffles/pancakes and store those in the freezer for a quick dinner.
Ooo! So do you fully make the crust or do you freeze the dough ball? If you freeze the dough ball, how do you thaw it for pizza day? I want to try that!
@@Oursweetsunnydays I freeze the dough balls, individually wrapped in plastic wrap then in a zip top bag. I will take out a dough ball or 2 the morning of and let it defrost on the counter.
I love salmon. I buy my wildcat salmon at Aldi’s. I prefer wild caught to farm raised raises, fed, hormones, and antibiotics and of course wildcat is not. Aldi has the best prices for salmon.
I think you can get used to cilantro and even appreciate it. When I first tried it, I really didn't like it. Then, about a year ago, I started to try it again and I'm not disliking it anymore but it's taken a year of perseverance.
I love both your sister’s recipes and enjoy watching what they make, you are lucky to have them and learn from them. The bread you made looks fabulous, Ive never made homemade hot chocolate on the stove myself but I have to. Which sister do you buy your meat from? That’s great
I love how you aren't afraid to try new recipes. I wanted to let you know when you buy a mango you need it to be red and yellow in color for it to be ripe and taste delicious.
I made a beautiful sourdough starter. BUT I don’t think I make bread enough, I use so much flour feeding my starter it doesn’t feel like it’s worth it. I may try again though.
Check out Stay At Home Chef for recipes. I have made numerous recipes from her site and they were awesome. Was your husband surprised with your date night meal? I like to have a good hot tea sometimes when I am cooking in the fall season Nothing gets me more excited for fall like gingerbread cake or gingerbread cookies . And the tea I love is ... Gingerbread spice tea from Celestial Seasonings. Oh so good with honey. 😊
I would say a lot, but when we got this oven there was not a single crumb in it! The previous owners said they used it one time, if you can believe that!

If you mix your cocoa powder with a tablespoon or two of water it will mix in much more easily than trying to put dry powder into the milk.
Thanks for the tip! :)
Winter steals my energy and joy in cooking. I just struggle to do anything

Same here! Today was grocery day so I cleaned my fridge! It wore me out! I really need the sun!

Oooo! I don't feed mine unless I am using it! But I think I can get away with that because it's a mature starter!
Enjoyed the video 😊
Thanks!

I wonder how many loaves of bread that oven has baked? Does your baby sleep at dinner prep time or is she playing in another room.

@ how unusual?
