We have a tradition in our family that we LOVE: we make rolled turkey tacos from the leftover turkey (leaving small amount for turkey sandwiches for Friday md Saturday) and the rest makes the most deliciuous turkey tacos! Served with a homemade salsa, beans and rice, it is a feast that we all have loved!!!!
Jennifer, I thought you might be interested in the new Netflix movie about Maria Callas being played by Angelina Jolie! It looks like it's going to be really good and there is already Oscar buzz. The blush trick makes you look fresh! Great video!
It has turned to winter very quickly here in South Dakota and your videos are such a wonderful reminder that this really can be a beautiful time of the year ❤
I like your mini lighted Christmas tree you have on the floor! I haven't put out any Christmas decor in like 20 years? My whole family has passed, and I live away from my hometown? It just feels futile🤔
I completely understand where you're coming from, but I think a mini, tabletop tree is a great, simple way to still decorate a little, for yourself to enjoy! ❤🎄🕯
I just got my copy of Fatal Feast of Murder, She Wrote. I am at the point where Jessica is leery of Billups presents in town. Thank you for not sharing the next event in the book. I never thought of placing a small amount of blush on the bridge of my nose. I'll give it a try. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Hi Jennifer! This was such a warm, delightful video! The soup looks delicious and I can't wait to try it next week, thank you!! Could you please send a slice of that pie to me, hahah??!! YUMM!! I hope you are looking forward to a lovely weekend!! With love, Kellie
I am enjoying the Fatal Feast from your recommendation! I am at about the same place in the book, i am so glad to have a Thanksgiving themed cozy mystery, Murder She Wrote has always been one of my favorite shows! Thank you for sharing!
Along with the blush trick on the bridge of my nose, I also like to put blush at the top of my cheekbones. My inspiration comes from Queen Elizabeth. I watched an English Heritage video where they explained Queen Elizabeth's makeup routine and they said in order to project good health she liked to wear blush on the cheekbones so that it looked like a natural flush. So I try to make my face look naturally flushed ☺️. I avoid the toxic makeup she used though as to protect my health 😆😳.
Lovely video! That pie looks so good I want to fly to Ca just to get one!! I tried the get the Murder She Wrote book from the library but all the copies were checked out.
Also, I just finished A Fatal Feast a couple days ago and I loved it! I was hoping there would be another book after it with a continued timeline but there doesn't seem to be one.

On camera there was not a noticeable "well rested" look with the blush technique. A rosy color of blush on top of the nose can give the appearance of being outside in cold weather or the appearance of having a cold. A little shimmer on the tip of the nose and cupid's bow works well to brighten up the face.
The makeup technique shown by make-up artists, is one that they use on celebrities, and that is to place the blush on both sides of the nose and use a slight highlighter along the top of the nose, making the nose look chiseled. This creates a stunning look. But if Jennifer prefers the blush technique and she can see the difference, plus makes her feel good, that is great!!!

A mini tree sounds very nice 😊
Mini trees are nice if you don't want to put holiday decor everywhere. Candles are also nice.
I completely understand where you're coming from, but I think a mini, tabletop tree is a great, simple way to still decorate a little, for yourself to enjoy! ❤🎄🕯
Thank you! It's from King of Christmas. You can still decorate for yourself. Even something simple would be wonderful!
I have fond memories of homeschool field trips at Riley’s Farm. I have never tried their cherry butter. That sounds so yummy!
It's such a beautiful place!

My library didn’t have it either but I selected another - the first one in the series on audio - Manhattans and Murder 😊
Hello elegant Jennifer. Love the soup recipe. Our Thanksgiving was last month, so I will use your exact recipe with rotisserie chicken. :)
