I just came across this video and I love the content! I'm a FS fan myself and what I love about this guy is he's straight to the point story mode and continuous game play! He doesn't miss parts and I love the building from ground up! Real life! 😎 Thanks for this!!

@@Driver53Gaming thx. honestly I think if devs see videos such as the ones you make they could draw inspiration for mechanics and elements to add to the game. I like FS, but I always withdraw from it after a while because the towns don't feel alive, there is no interaction. If you are playing alone, it gets boring, for me at least. I think if there were NPC's, houses, shops, etc, it would feel much more alive. Basically the types of things you pretend to be there. Going to a farmer's house to accept a contract to do the job and chosing to use his equipment that would spawn in his shed/field or going back home to get your own. Entering buildings such as the equipment store and entiring the menu through an interection with the seller. Going to the bank. Having a used equipment store. These are all seamingly minor things that would allow for role playing and would make a HUGE difference. It's the difference between a strictly sim game and a simulator/rpg. I like the simulation, but I miss the rp element. That's why I mostly enjoy the grind, often starting with a chainsaw and a truck with no money just to increase the grinding phase and get more involved. After that, it just feels like a menial job without a real purpose.

I've never given any of the farming simulator games a chance because I have no interest in farming, but this did remind me of Lumberjack's Dynasty and make me wanna re-download and play that so thank you.
This is really enjoyable. I am curious since Ive never played farm sim and you dont show us menu's, but how much of this is pure role play and how much is actual gameplay elements? Can you really own part ownership in the sawmill? Can you actually expand it? When you buy machines from the oldman, do you actually drive away whats on display or does it just get plunked down? I guess i wanna know is if i actually bought farm sim because i liked this video, how much am i genuinely interacting with game systems? I am aware there probably is no actual npcs you're wheeling and dealing lol
@thejake1453 this video was made using Farming Simulator 22. FS25 is the current version now. What you see happening in the fields was either myself or ai workers. You can own productions fully or lease if you are on PC. Most maps have pedestrians and traffic as part of the map. It's a great game but if you are still undecided check out some of my other videos to get a better idea of what the game has to offer.

Mods are a large part of Farming Simulator. I have created many of the areas in this video. The shop was there within the clearing but I added the fence, vehicles, and decor. I wanted to challenge myself a bit and see what I could create along the way while rebuilding the ghost town. The city at the start is a mod map that I did not add anything to.
I remember doing that as a young kid on my grandparent's farm in southeast Missouri. I didn't mind it though, I was able to keep all the arrow heads I found.

You'll need to get a family and have a kid so that you can make them pick all the stones. At least thats what my dad used me for.
