@@MatthewBaxter2010 one question tho can you use a USB c adapter to a 3.5 mm aux cable to connect to the flip 6 because I want to know I'm getting the white flip 6
Yes, what I'm saying is that the USB-C port can only be used for charging and doesn't support data/audio even with a USB-C to 3.5mm aux adapter. It won't be able to be used to play audio via USB-c cable or an adapter. The adapter doesn't matter if the port doesn't allow for data/audio transfer.
The minimum volume is still too high and if i go further down it just drops to zero. Feels like it goes from 10% of volume to 0% in just one click. How can i solve this and get more intermediate controls, like 5% or 2 % volume? Thank you
"Hi there, I recently bought a JBL Flip 6 and encountered a frustrating issue. When I leave it charging while turned on and disconnected from my phone, the power button starts blinking unexpectedly. Despite following all troubleshooting steps in the manual, the problem persists. Additionally, there's a battery calibration issue where the indicator shows full charge, then drops suddenly to half. Could this be a problem with the internal components? I'd appreciate any insights or advice on how to fix this. Thanks!"
Honestly I have not had this issue. Maybe try updating it through the app to see if it fixes the issue. It sounds like it's a software issue rather than a hardware issue. If that doesn't work then I would say return it for a new one if you are able to.
It binking while plugged in is a sign of a bad cable or that the speaker is waiting to connect to a device. The main reason that the power button would blink is because your charging cable is no longer usable and it needs replaced luckily the company put USB-C in the speaker so any charging cable will work so just get a smartphone cable and see if the problem is solved because it definitely sounds to me that you have a faulty cable and the speaker isn't receiving enough electrical current to charge the battery.
I would say Charge 5 gives you bigger more full sound... Only because it's larger. Both sound the same. The Flip 6 will tend to distort on the bass at higher volumes because it is limited in it's capacity but it can still get loud and sound good. Just not as loud for a larger room or party. Depends on if you plan to use it for parties. I really like both and both sound amazing.
I was thinking of getting the Charge 5 but the Flip 6 is more portable for me when taking to work daily. Fits right in my vest pocket, but the Charge definitely wouldn't
@@MatthewBaxter2010 you can not compare flip 6 and charge 5. The charge will always sound better because it's bigger. On the other hand...Flip 6 is better than flip 5. The 6 has better sound seperation and less distortion, because of the highs being send tot the tweeter and the mids and lows to the woofer. On the flip 5 it does all 3 on 1 woofer.
@@serktv6231 just because a product is bigger doesn't mean it's better. With size you have complications of distorting the mids and highs due to bass. You could have too much bass where as with a smaller flip 6 you can have more balanced sound. So yes the charge is bigger which means it can get louder but again, just because a product is bigger doesn't mean it's going to sound better. Many companies tend to sacrifice sound for size and volume output. Just saying. I get your point but that is not always the case.
@@MatthewBaxter2010 Yes. I know. But jbl portable speakers are consistent in their lineups. The boombox, xtreme, charge, flip, clip and Go. They all sound more or less good and the same. The only difference is it's physical size related to how loud and balanced it can play music. It's just facts that the xtreme or boombox can play louder with punchier bass because it has bigger drivers and bigger housing. All jbl portable speakers are good to listen at 60 to 70% volume. Above that, the bass drops and the highs increases with a bit more mids. So again. Comparing the jbl products based on sound quality is not so ideal. Because they have the same sound signature and quality. The only difference is how loud it can get. *all of them distort more or less with heavy bass music. You can compare soundcore or sony with jbl and judge them based on their sound quality, because different brands uses different drivers, different techniques etc.
What about the Latency in Flip 6? My main purpose will be video streaming on my iPhone 13 pro and MSI Modern Laptop. Should I go for the Flip 4 because it has Aux Port or the Flip 6 because it's have Bluetooth 5 and Type C?
I have noticed hardly any video audio latency if any. Also, in times when there is some, the video tends to pause for a second and audio catches up and it's fixed. Basically when there is latency, it fixed itself.
I would go with the Flip 6. One more audio driver, newest port, better Bluetooth connection, and with the app you can customize the sound eq if the stock jbl sound isn't to your liking which the flip 4 and 5 won't get even with an update.
For me everything is irrelevant, and very very intuitive. What I was expecting here is how to increase /decrease bass through secret button combinations. And forget about the app, I wanna do it on windows .
No it does not. It's not very big. Slightly thicker than a soda can and maybe as long as a soda bottle from a gas station. Can fit in the water bottle holder of a backpack so not really big enough for a shoulder strap. The JBL Extreme series has a shoulder strap
Thank you for the translation. I mean, it is a Bluetooth speaker. I don't know a whole lot of Bluetooth speakers that have a built-in fm transmitter...

@@MatthewBaxter2010 one question tho can you use a USB c adapter to a 3.5 mm aux cable to connect to the flip 6 because I want to know I'm getting the white flip 6
The USB-C port does not support audio/data transfer. It only supports charging sadly. Maybe in the Flip 7 it will.
