So over the last few years, the JBL PartyBox 310 has been my favorite box speaker to use and to recommend. It sounds great and it has a ton of bass, its easy to transport thanks to its built in wheels and its has a dynamic looking light feature… but now we have the JBL PartyBox Stage 320 which has some major upgrades over the 310, and the design of this speaker has just be so refined, so today we’re going to checkout the JBL PartyBox 320, were going to see if its worth upgrading from the 310… and yes you can believe the hype.

Love your reviews! 🙌🏼
Feels complete.
At the minute 7:57 you help me a lot to decide which JBL should I buy between 310-320 🙏🏻thank you, and also with the battery changing, but the hole video is very informative, you gained a new subscriber
and where can you buy these spare JBL 400 batteries?
Where can you buy the extra batteries? Haven't seen them being on sale yet.....
I am very happy that the review is here, it's really worth the wait, I can't wait for the JBL Partybox 120 Club next!
Great video ...currently patently waiting for the JBL Xtreme4 review
I think it would be super Cool if in addition to saying all of the Drivers That are on the speaker, also list the sizes of them as well👍Great Video!!
Auracast and partyboost speakers can only be paired with the app, not with the physical button and I was able to do that with all my partyboost speakers and my xtreme 4
Try doing the same with the PartyBox, might work as well
As for the many people saying the pb 320 has less bass than the 310, a software update later may fix that "issue" and improve more its sound
I love my 310! I bump it at work every day!
Can't wait to get my hands on it to test it also
I've been waiting for this review for a while. This will be the first Partybox I'll be getting
you're really going to like it
Yo I ordered mine today! Can't wait
I have 2 310 and sounds great. Does the auracast support mic transfer to another 320? because the 310 TWS work only for music not the mic. Thanks
Love my 310! Awesome speaker, wish the wheels were better, wider and bigger to avoid so much wobble when moving
Indeedd
320🔥👍
thats about it really for me, i actually prefer the 310 design it looks more professional
You forgot to mention that one of the design features that the 320 no longer has is the ability to lay on its side with the removal of the orange rubber feet. It's nice for traveling with or storing the speaker, or maybe lying it down on a picnic table.
JBL gave up on this idea entirely moving forward. Probably because almost nobody uses these speakers horizontally due to it's asymmetrical design when lying down.
To me it's a win - why keep a feature that maybe 5% of people are gonna use - instead we got a much better, cleaner looking speaker.
Thanks sometime I stick my 310 in my trunk speakers facing the front so I can let my seats down in the back and let the light show dance at night
enfin quelqu'un qui le dit !!
I don't remember you doing the mic feedback test on your new Partybox 120 video. How's the mic feedback on the 120?
Will you eventually make a video about 320 vs Soundboks 4?
Does it lose bass at max volume? Compared to the 310?
I have a 310 and I love it, but this 320 looks amazing. For the price would it be better to get a 320 or just go for the 710 which is really close on price?
So when reading on a JBLs spec sheet for both speakers and notice that the 310 has a 175mm driver when the 320 is only 165mm, So Does the 320 Really Have More BASS??
I'm really curious how it compares to the Sony XV-800 sound quality wise.
sir do you have any idea or link whare to buy extra battery extra for jbl 320 ?
No entiendo nada de inglés por eso uso el traductor pero hasta el momento eres el que mejor Hace las comparativas felicidades
Caddy
I sold my 310 last year (and I regretted badly) and seeing the 320 I might get 2 of them 😁
Are they going to release partybox 720?
Yes! They fixed the wheels! Yay!
I just looked on etsy and I brought some similar wheels for my 310.
@@david029014genius idea thanks
Right now the main challenge for the 310 vs the 320 is cost to performance ratio, so value. I got both, and at this point i am returning the 320. Don't get me wrong, I LIKE IT BETTER, everything in this video is true, it sounds cleaner, more open the whole presentation is a refinement in every aspect. HOWEVER, you can get the 310 through some outlets (eBay, Mercari, i saw it on sale a few weeks ago at BB for around $379) so it's not exactly half but for around 40-45% less than the 320. Is the sound 40% better on the 320? No, but not everything is sound, the whole thing is better, but if sound is what matters to you, you won't be able to justify the price difference, especially if you already have a 310, and if you don't have it, the 310 is still worthy considering. If money is no issue, go for the 320, it is better in every aspect.
Thing is tho the 320 will last a life time especially since the battery is removable the 310 battery isn't removable and I can have extra batterys and never have to plug it up for charge.
I have 310 and I wouldn't advise to buy it at this point. 320 is just better in every way for just a little bit more.
Also Bluetooth 5.4 and Aura Cast is a game changer.
I honestly think the improved version of JBL app for 320 and Aura Cast feature alone is worth the uprade. No longer have to daisy chain multiple speakers together.
@@LukeR1M facts 👌
I heard from jay that the 310 has more bass than 320
Can you connect the 320 to the Xtreme 4 via Auracast?
Is it possible to connect pair 2 speakers wireless like the 310 ....i thought u would highlight this but even in the 110 review u skipped it.
I need help to make a decision.
I have a jbl partybox encore.
I love the sound but i want more bass.
the new pb320 sounds amazing but the pb310 doesnt sound as good in the highs in my opinion.
But my encores mids and highs still sound really good. since 310s go for really cheap now that the new one is out, do you think picking up a 310 and pairing it with my encore would be a good choice?
I feel like i would get the low end that im looking for but also keep the good sound signature from the encore that the 310 lacks. (not planning to play above 80% encore volume / 50-60% 310 volume. I know the encore distorts at high volume)
Thoughts?
I just bought another 310 even though they had the 320 in stock just because I wanted them to match. I have zero complaints with the 310. The 320 is definitely cool but the 310 was cheaper and now I have a matching pair
I have a party box 310 with the intention to always get a second. Should I get another 310 or just go with the 320 and daisy chain them?
Darn it I was sold on 310 now I want 320
Where can we buy the extra batteries
I honestly did not expect 320 to sound this much better. Quite a big improvement overall over 310.
They are the same
@@gwynkoo8890lol...
@@gwynkoo8890 I think the 320 has got more clarity.
Can you plug in a led strip in the back of these speakers? The 5v usb port
I have the 310 and after seeing this im definitely getting the 320
I also have the 310 and thinking of selling it on offer up so i can buy the 320 !
@@Loupster420I sold my 310 yesterday, tomorow will arrive mi 320😅
How much did yall sell the 310 thinking of selling mine also lol
Is difference between sbc and aac huge on these Bluetooth speakers
This is my first party box…which one tu choose bro 310 (on sale) or 320
I love my 310 but I think I might have to sell it if I want to buy a 320. Kind of annoying that you cant pair them wirelessly. Great video!
Cant find anywhere the price of the replacement battery yet.. is there any info about it ?
Thank u for the review ❤
I can’t find any info or anywhere to buy it either.
Can i connect to the encore essential wireless? Or just aux?
The 320 or soundbok Go for outdoor bbq’s , beach days ?
Can you do a sound box GEN four versus stage 320?
I've noticed that the 320 has much smaller tweeters.. does it have change to the sound?
More crispier and clear
do you think they’ll make it possible to wirelessly connect with the 710 etc. with future updates?
Don’t think so, cause they want you to buy their new gen of speakers. But I think the 320 will connect to Xtreme 4
Well , the replacement battery is good. But where someone find them ? I cannot find them in the official site of JBL or somewhere else...
I don't know but on my Samsung phone i can play music through 2 Bluetooth devices simultaneously, so even though you can only pair 2, you could connect 4 speakers and 2 pairs. 😎
The removable battery was long overdue. Goes without saying it’s easier than ripping apart the speaker to put in new packs or cells. Does the battery charge from the speaker while connected to AC or does it only charge when separated from the speaker. I assume USB-C charging externally?
No, it charges while in the speaker
What’s crazy is if you read the info on the app it basically says you can connect the 120/320 to the older tws models idk maybe they need more time to upgrade. I was only gonna buy the 120 if I can connect to my 310
seulement en daisy chain à mon avis
ils ont fait un modèle qui fait que l'on doit jeter les modeles d'avant, exactement comme les 300 avec les 310
I am so upset that this does not have the 12v port. I have been using the 310 as my car stereo for the past 3 years, and I planned to upgrade when the 320 came out, but now I don't think I'm going to upgrade.
Yeah I don't know why they quit on the 12V port, it was a good extra feature.
Will you review the 120 aswell. The setup looks fire
Obviously. We have like 7 videos in production right now.
You can see it in the vid
Did they fix the bluetooth feature. On my 310, anyone can bluetooth in and take over the speaker.
Can I connect two JBL 320 with cable so that I have no latency when djing?
Please do a comparison Soundboks 4 vs PB320 vs Sony XV800/900.
320 vs xv800 is coming. But I have a cold right now. I think I got sick from filming the night shots.
Just ordered mine can’t wait to test it out and have it next to my two ultimates
Does anybody knows how to change the input source on the new stage 320? On the 310 was a button for that.
Can I use this outdoors for zumba party like in a park? Please advise. Thanks!
oui : 310 ou 320 pour la batterie
got my partybox 320 2weeks ago. so amazed and satisfied.
Im getting 320 nxt yr probably
Bro I just wanna know does this speaker when you buy comes with a spare battery 🔋 or not?
Just one
But where do i buy the second battery? Its not on the jbl website
Why don't you use JBL Wireless mic instead? Still don't have USB-C port.
I think you forgot something in your review the tweeters found on the JBL Party Box 320 is a little bit smaller than the ones you find on the JBL partybox 310
not important info
Yes very true I see that too
@@GYMCADDY well I just wanted to let you know just in case you didn't notice
@@GYMCADDY overall I love your reviews as always and was so excited to see this one
@@GYMCADDYI is important....imo
I’m not saying anyone is wrong but I’m another video I heard that the 310 had a little bit more bass but more muddy sounding and the 320 was a little bit louder. I appreciate these videos I love to do a lot of research before buying something, keep it up
Yea same I heard from jay the 310 even had deeper bass than the 320
With several reviews and differences of the reviewer's hearing, there are some margin of errors about how they interpret the sound quality. That is why it is always better if you have access to both of these speakers in a store nearby where you can hear their performance face to face.
@@froilanvillafuerte4107 yes 100% percent right but I try to go with the most realistic comparison video out that seems most logical way of test with a decent thoughts on sound quality which for me validates enough for me to say I prefer this over that and to me what I told is what I heard that is my formed opinion on the 320 to me it’s an upgrade on cosmetics and slight in sound quality but not huge in sound and listening your right but I think for me until I see another reviewer that says otherwise then I’ll change my mind like I see a comparison from like Oluv’s Gadgets or something the true reviewer of speakers would be great his microphone gives the most realistic impression of sound it’s not even funny but anyways maybe when the 329 comes out in stores I’ll see how it sounds or something
A update will come in about 6 Weeks. With this you can connect the 320 also to old speakers like 310 wireless .
Until it comes out I can’t say that it’s here 🤷🏻♂️
where you can buy a replaceable battery ? I cannot find everywhere info about that.
The only place ive seen the batteries is on Ebay
Nice upgrades!
yeah, except for that new handle lol
I prefer the way that the bass sounds on the 310.
Can you expand is it bassier? boomier? punchier?
@@anthonycruz8011 The bass on the 310 has more of a medium sounding bass signature. It's not too tight, but at the same time, it's not too loose or sloppy sounding. The bass on the 320 sounds tighter. I guess it depends on the type of types of music that you listen to.
I listen to 70's class rock, 90's grunge, & rap music.
@@jedolivier2688 ah okay I just got the 710 and I like a deep boomier bass that shakes the walls and you can feel it in your chest so I was wondering if what JBL is moving toward to see if rap and hip hop is better on the 20 series speakers hence the 720s that I beleive will come
waiting for jbl 310 firmware updates
Is the bass better than 710 now?
Can the 320 sync with the 310?
It would have been nice if they had put a storage area to hold an extra battery and charge it while not in use. So it's ready to go when u need it away from outlets
That’s a great idea
I really think they need to add a rgb type light feature, whole panel is lighten up but in rgb style
I think its good enough
I got my partybox 310 on sale for $350 so im gonna keep it
that's a great price
exited for the "720"??? When that comes out i hope its with a battery and not again a new pairing system.. man aura cast is fine jbl pls just keep it -
imagine they re-introduce connect+ and u pair a "720" to a idk... Charge 3?
yeah, im looking forward to the 720 as well, its going to be a mini Ultimate
@@GYMCADDYoooooo. Want some subs in a 710 level of speaker
You didn’t mention the biggest advantage of Auracast……it’s a Bluetooth standard now and can connect to ANY BRAND Auracast speaker of Bluetooth 5.2 or later
Correct but since I don’t have many aura cast speakers in the studio right now I can’t really show it in action. But I think it was more important to notify people that past partboxes still don’t connect. Maybe they’re thinking about upgrading
@@GYMCADDY I got you, I just think it’s worth noting how future proof it is because of this. Thanks for the vid!
Can you play the speaker full blast without a battery? Can it play music at 100% with the battery taken out? It was a deal breaker with the SoundBox that you couldn’t play 100% volume plugged in, no battery. Is this the case with the 320? Plugged in, can it play full blast or will it shut off?
Yes, max volume while plugged in, with battery installed or not is fine. I had the same question.
My 310 makes my house parties rumble like an earthquake. I can't justify upgrading at this point, it's already overkill indoors.
Jbl partybox 310 boss songs 👌🏾💪🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥
So I heard on the app that it's possible to link multiple different kinds of speakers. I don't know how far that's true?
Not working for me
I havent bought any of the two but are they going to be the same price$??
No there are price difference
How deep bass does JBL Partybox Stage 320 have?
JBL Partybox 310 has 32 Hz maximum bass extension.
If JBL Partybox Stage 320 doesn't have at least 35 Hz, I won't buy it.
@gymcaddy ??
PB 310 can actually play AAC codec
Would it be worth spending the extra $200 and getting the 710? Are there plans for a 720?
Yes. The 710 bumps to the point that your neighbor will hear you!!
No 720 plams
@@gageb556😂😂😂
320 price?
Thank you, great comparison!
But from the Video (listned with a huge Teufel Sub) it sounded like the 310 kinda has the edge, when it comes to bass… But in person you would say its the other way around?
Yes, in person the 320 has more bass than the 310
Will we get a 720 soon? Just picked up a 710 and if the 720 comes out with heightened bass ill trade it in
i like the pb 310 more because you can charge it in your car (12v)
achieve the same effect with a power inverter dc to ac thats what i use with my 310 i love sticking it in the trunk and letting the seats down in the back having the speakers facing the front so i can have my light show going
How come u never make a review of the Jbl PB 1000
Cause I think it’s too old and it been replaced by the ultimate and 710
PB1000 is heavily outdated at this point. I don't think JBL even makes them anymore.
@@GYMCADDY yeah but it’s still a great sound system , which outperforms Sony XV900 and even the latest party speakers . Imagine 2019 edition
Where can i buy extra battery ??
I saw it on Amazon but I'm pretty sure you can find it on the JBL website too
OMG finally!!!
And I have a cold right now.
@@GYMCADDYDang.
Where u get the red cigarette 12volt long cable to buy?
it came included with the PB 300
There is no 12 volt plug in on the 320.
I bought the 310 yesterday for 330 Euro. I dont think that the different ist worth nearly 270 Euros
I dont know if i should get it i have a 110 and i need smt that hits low
310 sounds much better and hits way lower than 110
310 for me
Jbl partybox 320 boss songs 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sony ult field 7 please...
I own Sony xv800. With Sony you will feel the original quality of the music with balanced sound, more clear mids better instrument separation and satisfying enough bass unlike jbl’s overpowering bass that suppresses vocals making it good only for dance and parties but not who wants detailed experience of the music or for audiophiles.
What do you guys think?
c'est tres possible
Hello can I connect jbl 320 to ultimate by auracast?
Same question I have. Would love to pair one Ultimate with two 320s wirelessly.
The same idea. Anyone tryied this?
No rubber stoppers to listen to it horizontally....
Speakerstand hole on the bottom 👍but no balanced input... 👎Not ideal for a 2x 320 DJ setup... Other than that, great partybox ofc
