It seems like you are professional cinematographers. Between Hedwig's perspective and your mad editing skills and positive outlooks, these videos are just wonderful!
LOL you are beyond sweet to say so, I’m afraid we are very much just noob nomads and goofy hikers 😂. We were genuinely flabbergasted and surprised that other people watched and then even enjoyed the videos. We made them as a video diary for us to look back on later, and to keep in touch with a few friends and family. But we are beyond happy and grateful that other people have joined in. So bless you Courtney and thank you so very much for your lovely comments ❤️❤️🐌
Thank you Robyn, and thank you so much for taking the time to get in contact ❤️ We’ll be honest and say that we’re really quite sad this adventure is almost over, but there are many more to come for sure 👍🏼🎉 Be sure to pop any questions in the Community Tab and we’re so looking forward to having you along with us. All the very best wishes from us Chonkies ❤️
You’re very kind New Horizons ❤️ You have a very cool channel, looking forward to taking a proper look once we get some time to hunker down in front of a TV again 👍🏼
No, you will be totally fine Nursey. Follow the signs, but maybe have Camino Ninja installed as a backup, it has a live map which runs off GPS and will give that little reassurance if it’s needed 😉 But if WE can find our way, you certainly will .
You will have a fantastic time Kay! We’re jealous of you now 😂 Thank you for taking the time to get in touch, it’s really appreciated, and we’re glad you’re enjoying the videos ❤️
The time will come round so quickly Pam. One moment it’s miles away over the horizon, and suddenly you’re rushing around wondering where your hat is because it’s time to head to the airport 😂
Hi again, Keith and Tina, the Chonky Trundlers. Just now watched this. I loved it!! I completed my Camino a couple months ago and passed this route but did not have as many and as beautiful videos and pictures as yours. Couldn't help but feel tears in my eyes! Yes, I remember the junction .. I took the 360m one not the 70m like yours, it was heavy too and long (at least that's what i felt), but probably not as steep as yours for sure. I love to see the old bridge, it can barely fit 1 car and 1 person, it cannot fit 2 cars for sure. Thanks for posting the videos. I love those! God bless.
Hey Ralph! Thank you, and we’re glad we could help bring back some of the amazing memories. We’re not sure if it had such a profound impact because we’d had to wait 5 years to do it, or because it was our first one, or what. But it certainly did. It was a particularly great stretch there wasn’t it, and brand new we think. Certainly one of our favourites anyway. It will be very interesting to compare and contrast the upcoming Prince Edward Island walk. We are expecting a very different, but equally wonderful experience. Exciting and a little nerve wracking all at the same time 😬 Take good care and we look forward to hearing your next plans. The best way to get over the post Camino blues is to plan another one 😉😂
@@ChonkyTrundlers Thanks for your comment. Yes, watching your videos relives my memories of Camino! I did not know that Camino Blues was real until I experienced it myself (for sure, need to plan another one in the future). Hope you have a safe and wonderful P.E.I Walk (Camino)! It seems very interesting and is filled with beautiful scenery of the island. Please keep posting videos. Thanks again, you too, take care and God bless.😀👍
Thank YOU! We’d heard people mentioning the Blues but didn’t think much of it, until it happened of course 😂 Oh most definitely, I think we will be the first to daily vlog the whole PEI walk, which is v exciting 🤩 You take v good care and we look forward to hearing from you and your plans when they unfold. Keep us posted 👍🏼🐌❤️
Awww. It wasn’t poor Vigo’s fault. We just weren’t ready for a city to appear so quickly with the vibrant life, and all the noises and busy bustle that makes for city life 😂. But man, what’s with those hill IN the city, up up up up up 😂😂. You guys must be all crazy fit 😂. We hope to get back to Vigo and spend a day or two there to get to know it better ❤️
I think that well at 5:20 is for laundry. I saw something similar to it in Beauty & the Beast live action film. 😊 Thnx for the food bits - much appreciated! One reason I like Efren's vids is that he also shows his food! Lol. I think he's now doing the De La Plata route, accdg to his "shorts". He's walking 40 km/ day - plus filming it too! What a legend. Y'all are great! Take care & safe travels. Btw are you proceeding to Muxia & Finisterre after Santiago? Or you'll take a rest first? (you can include that in the Q&A)
lol you are spot on Kitty. Chalk a win for Beauty and the Beast. Augusto messaged to confirm it’s communal laundry sites 👍🏼Yeah, you can’t go wrong with Efren ❤️ He’s a brilliant photographer and filmmaker and a wonderful adventurer. He’s also good at showing food 😋 P.S. added your questions to the list 👍🏼
So as luck would have it, when I checked to see if you had posted from PEI, this video popped up - I must have missed it earlier this year. Hope you are well. Thank you 😊
lol how odd Paula. Oh yeah, we had such fun there. That whole trip was amazing, but we do particularly remember that day. Was quite hilly but sooo pretty ❤️ We are v v well Paula, thank you. A little sore legged but very happy and excited. Hope you’re good too 👍🏼❤️
Hi Blanca! Ah we are so jealous! You will have an amazing time ❤️ Right. Ow the weather is sunny, and quite hot, or will be when the sun comes up. We’re heading out early today before the sun wakes up at 7.30 as it’s a long day for us today 😬. However, it looks like it will be a bit mixed and possibly a bit wet again when you arrive. But our advice would be, just be prepared; a good poncho, a good attitude, and have a wonderful time. We had what most would consider pretty bad weather for the first three weeks, but it is what you make it. Have a truly wonderful time, Bom Camino!!!
@@ChonkyTrundlers hello! Thank you for asking 🥰 I started walking april 6 and ended april 16th. It’s beautiful 😍 I had a bit of trouble with my knees and my hips and had to take taxis here and there, but finished! I am planning my next camino with shorter days in terms of kilometers and rest days. Sorry for the delay answering!
Whatever you need to do to do it is all good Bianca. The most crucial thing is being there and enjoying it. We’re really sorry you had hip and knee problems. Both of us make horrible noises from various joints when walking up or down inclines, so we share your pain. Literally. But you did it! So congratulations! 🎉Out of interest, was that your first Camino, and did you come home already planning your next one? 🤔😂
lol Thank you Mar! We can’t believe it either ☹️ It has been truly magnificent. We’ve loved it, even the particularly hard days. Not that there’s a shortage of adventures in the pipeline, but we will cherish and miss this one for sure ❤️
A very good morning Chonky Trundlers, not sure if this is the right place for a question for you Q&A, but I am curious what navigation you are using if the yellow arrows are proving inconsistent? Happy trundling guys, buen Comino x

El esplendor de GALICIA.
Galicia was such a great experience Placido. The scenery, the people’s, the food… what a great place ❤️
I will be walking this route just from Vigo. I had heard getting out of Vigo was confusing. This looks much more pleasant.😂

5:14 loundry for sure, decades ago ❤
LOL yes, we were so confused at first 😂 A very cool little system though. We saw quite a few later on 🫧🛁😂
Really enjoy your videos. Hope to walk this route in September. 🙏☘️
