I like how a character is giving biography on a race that is the race.
Makes it more historical.

This is always one of my favorite channels for WoW lore. Everything presented is just so well executed and represented, I can't imagine the amount of work you put into just one video. Keep up the good work if you can. I know it's hard being a quality content creator.

That's the weird part about this story I've always wondered about.
Thal'kiel rises.
Eredar: "omg demons and fel are bad we must stop him!"
Years later and Sargeras shows up.
Eredar: "oh nm demons are pretty cool thal'kiel whos that lol"
KJ’s reaction is purposefully left vague, suggesting maybe he was down to jam with the Fel. Archimonde is blatantly a-okay with it.
When Sargeras shows up and offers the same magic, I think it’s far more enticing. This impossibly powerful cosmic God shows up and offers you this power first hand versus one of your own dabbling in it and being taught from a foreign, faceless entity. Archimonde was good to go and Kil’jaeden didn’t need much encouragement. There was no reason to say no the second time around.
I can imagine Velen being annoyed. “really? We JUST went through this!”
That's true. Even funnier I think is that even in the end, Thal'kiel kind of won. Sure he's now a Futurama-style head in a jar but he did successfully outlive Kil'jaeden and Archimonde. xD
I think it must have a lot to do with a couple things. 1: Time. Thal'kiel preached this to the Duumvirate. Their reactions mirror their emotions in the long run, but Velen could only be opposed by one other person max, so he can't be overruled. 2: Who was receiving the message. Thal'kiel wasn't leading the draenei so he needed to accomplish much to make his vision a reality by himself, which allowed Archimonde to sabotage his plan. When Sargareus came later he went straight to the leaders. While Velen's reactaction wasn't as vehemently opposed as before he knew something was up and was vehemently opposed once he knew what it was. Unfortunately the second time Sargareus was talking to the Triumvirate, of whom the other two members were casually fond of this proposal and thus Sargareus wins round 2.

So I guess them gilding and displaying Thal'kiel's skull as a warning for those who dabble too deeply in demonic magics fell (pun not intended) on deaf ears the second Sargeras showed up?
Saving that for next epiaode actually ! Wanted to show Archimondes continued rise to power and that’ll come up then!

Nooo! What about Jarasum or err...Jarraxus. What about him? D;
Jarasum is also a member of the Augari Leadership but since it wasn’t clear if he lead the Scholars or just disciplines the students, I left it out. May make mention of him next episode, but Velara and Aargon were given specific credit to different parts of Augari advancement so I had to include them.

Most of this lore came from the Warlock artifact book and Chronicle 1, with some smaller pieces pulled from the Argus zone itself!
