OMFG? Is this Moo from Ahn'Qiraj? I played with that guy for like whole vanilla before i switched servers to join up with Loot FTW after first couple of instances in The Burning Crusade!
I remember his voice, he was the raid leader and maintank of the alliance i was in. Enjoyed pvping with him, top notch player and an amazing guy!

For leveling, i think 2 points in improved charge is better than 3 points in two handed weapon spec. Those extra 6 points of rage over 2% damage

Nice video, but we could have a bit more from Moo_UK. Tehre is much talk about iteams and consumables, but he could actually talk how to play. How to approach different match ups in PVP, how to fight mobs reducing eating time to minimum etc.
Hes clearly a skilled warrior, but it seems like he either didn't understand the purpose of the video or just didn't feel like explaining it.
Could you do another warrior Deep-Dive focused more on tanking? This information was really helpful but I don't think I can use it when diving into raids with my guild as a tank as Monkey is more focused on fury/pvp.

I will put points into parry instead of the two handed spec, because parrying reduces the swing timer by 40%, plus its really helpful for tanking dungeons.

Interesting info scattered throughout, but Tips is not a very good host. Surface-level questions with weak follow-ups. If Mn gives a vague answer, Tips doesn't know how to get a better answer out of him. Or Tips doesn't know how to phrase the question to get more than a one-word answer.
Tips is almost afraid to challenge Mn's answers, almost patronizing Mn with the canned "absolutely insane" and "exactly" responses.

Cool interview. I'm a bit confused though Tip, I thought you knew more about the pre-bis gear =D I mean the edgemaster gloves are Mail. And they only give 1-handed weapon skills. But of course a lot of questions is helpful for newer audience =). Great video anyhow!

Hey there Tips. I've been watching your and Monkeynews' video a LOT in the 3 months you published it. I really like the arm leveling, however I've been trying to integrate the 5% crit from a lot earlier in the build with a respec at 40 to go full arm for the MS. I have watched a lot of videos and read as much guide / forum post / discussions, and never have I seen anyone suggest something like that. Have you ? What do you think of it ?

5% crit n 5% parry are top priority until 40 for MS, then 5% crit
Authentic fresh 2004 vanilla information right here! Pogchamp! As a side note I have been having a blast playing priest and might actually play that as my main in classic even though I have never really played a priest before. Every class is just so gosh darn fun in vanilla!
Glad to have this chance before classic to try things out again and plan for classic release! Look forward to all the coming Deep dives for all the classes tips

@@HendricP Not sure how you could say that when there's more people on these servers therefore more competition for rank 14. Also having to deal with China is pretty aids. I agree it means nothing; only in the sense rank 14 means nothing to life in general.

@@plackiplicki3531 If you have an organized group at the top level you can get rank 14 RP resets without the super cutthroat competition and maximise RP for everyone
i thought your video was great. I just took what i needed and fast forwarded to the parts i had questions about. I honestly think that's how the video is meant to be viewed because you and moo cover everything in excruciating detail and answer every question that can possibly be asked so thank you :D
Correction from a 15/15 Naxx Healer: Crystal Restore is not a waste of bag space, it scales with your +healing, allowing for a huge HoT on bosses where it's really REALLY needed, for example Maexxna. Awesome vid tho!

@OrcBit but isn't this leveling Spec way different than yours? Which one to choose I'm lost.
It comes down to playstyle and preferences. Both will get you to 60. However Moo is way more knowledgeable on the subject so I wouldn't take my word over his.
So modest. Orcs is more dependable and will be more applicable for the novice player. Monkeys spec takes PVP into account and is largely influenced by pvp effectiveness. Monkeys spec is aimed at a VERY specific playstyle, where orcs is more broadly focused on leveling.

56:44 Tips just blindly agreeing with this guy saying the guide "is bad theory crafting" is disappointing coming from a reputable warrior. The logic presented in the post is that the gain from percentage based buff increases (MOTW, Kings etc,) may outweigh the gain depending on the fight duration. That is excellent theory crafting, not bad.
There are only a handful of fights that it would ever outweigh the 8 str when you're playing in hardcore guilds. Becomes much for a discussion to be had in Naxx when fights actually starts taking over a minute.

For the guy asking about Thunderfury Offhand warriors you have to consider TF is MH only until 1.12 patch... so if Blizz uses the vanilla item prgression you won't ba able to use TF as OH before patch 1.12

I love how the passion really shines through when you host a segment like this (and the pvp summit) and just invite other people passionate about Vanilla and discuss their favourite aspects with them. This is the feeling of community I have missed and especially the class-community aspect.

Pat ran around with a pocket healer, poping big crits and full consumes. Its a good watch, but I don't think he was showing huge amounts of skill doing it. (Don't get me wrong its always a good watch)
But if were talking about the ability to first, master their class. As well as things like fight control during multiple 1vX situations, My opinion is that title belongs to Laintime. I'd argue he was one of the few players doing stance dancing and weapon swapping, his use of consumes and engineering is pretty top shelf as well.
yeah totally the moment of laintime was godlike he invended the idea of running away out of range melee player while your auto was still on cd.

Cause the guy only pvp otherwise you can go 31/5/15 if you want to tank dungeons more seriously late level and prot if you are the main tank or 31/5/15 work just fine as a offtank for raid.

Plus as a Warrior with no range attacks- think about how many mobs try to run away in fear. Especially into a pack of other mobs. Keeping mobs in front of you taking damage is value

This is interesting as someone looking at rolling a Warrior for classic. I normally see people say you go Fury for leveling though, although Arms seems very tempting to me as I plan to tank dungeons as I level and Tactical Mastery is great. There's a lot of conflicting information. However, as I plan to take my time in Classic and not try to rush (something we do far too often in retail), I don't think it would matter as much.
ABOUT POTIONS. Some classes are not even possible to compete against without using potions. Mele vs Hunter or Mage will get rekt without FAPs - It's just not possible when you both have equal gear.
What class will we see next?! I think this is going to be an AMAZING series. CAN'T WAIT FOR PRIEST!

I felt bad for Monkeynews watching this video. He’s a high skill and dedicated player being asked questions by a moron that obviously has no clue how Vanilla works. I just skipped through Tips talking to see if there were any gems Mn would give out. I feel bad for anyone that is rolling with Tips guild for Classic.
The point of the video is to explain to someone who may not have played Vanilla why you're taking these talents. Monkeynews is obviously a really skilled Warrior but it took a lot of prodding at times to get more than a one word answer from him.

stance dance was ass and just didnt feel good. you had to go battle stance just for some key talents/skills and then always berserker stance since thats just plain better. especially if you went deep in the arms tree, it just felt so lame...

I can understand how some would see it as needlessly padding a class with extra actions. Personally I found it to be a more engaging play style, but to each their own. There are no right or wrong answers here.

The sit thing is definitely not going to work on live. Yes, you will get crit but it won't proc abilities like enrage or reckoning unfortunately. People already tested it on beta. I thought I heard it from tip actually but maybe I'm absolutely insane.

I don't really know what you guys were expecting. MN just says the spec he uses and offers some advice. Its up to him to make a full on warrior guide and he never will. You can tell how reticent he is in the interview to "give up his secrets."
Just want to let you know, because you got some really pro players you are interviewing here. When you talk to someone that u want information from, let them speak and dont put your words in their mouth. For example when you ask him for the spec he is going for, let him just say whatever he is going to say then ask the question. This video would be maximum 30 minutes and you got 10 minutes of good information out of 1 hour and 31 minutes. Sometimes you try to be presige about stuff to show off. In this kind of video it is about him, many here dont care about you (brutaly honesty). And please dont talk to the chatt while talking to him, have the questions ready before you start. I love you and i like your charisma and want you to evolve as an interviewer. Keep on fighting!

Sounds like the /sit macro isn't going to work for the sake of maintaining 100% uptime on Blood Craze and Enrage in Classic. You WILL take double damage as if it were a crit, but it does not proc abilities as if you were taking an actual crit. This is something that only works on private servers. I'm guessing this may have an impact on how to spec out your character?

Question, does the mace specialization stun also proc from off hand weapons? I had the idea of running dual wield mace to try and maximize the stuns, but I heard somewhere that it will actually only proc from the main hand weapon.

So, for 2h slam. I have memory of the white attack clipping where you could cast slam slightly before a white attack and it wouldn't interrupt the attack, but I've seen a ton of clips of 2h slam built warriors just not using slam as a white attack clipper making me question my memory. Do you know if slam can be used to clip white attacks in vanilla?
Lol, so many bad players seem to think that heroic strike is good while leveling, heroic strike is the worst skill to use while leveling. Use rend, then sunder, and auto attack, it procs overpower and increases your damage, I level as 2h fury and get enrage as fast as possible, sit down at the start of a fight, gives you a bonus to your damage, I normally go slam spec with a swing timer because it gives you an attack that you can use after every white swing and normally gain more rage than it uses. once you hit 40, you can choose to go arms or keep going as fury.
Yeah, that talent build works for MN because of his goals and what he likes to do while leveling. But 2h Fury is way better 10-40 than Arms simply because it has more sustain from Blood Craze.
