Another great option for anyone who does not own a quality hammer drill and doesn't want to invest in one, is to head down to your local Home Depot tool rental department and rent yourself a Hilti TE 7-C Rotary Hammer Drill (or other quality rotary haller drill if they don't have the Hilti in stock) for $30 and you'll have those holes drilled in no time at all.

And let’s be honest; the amount of drilling required for someone putting a rack in their garage (or maybe a handful in a gym) doesn’t really justify buying a drill or using a high end SDS.

@@darkknightbkstall mats are generally rated for 20+ years with equestrian use 😂 certainly would be far longer in a home gym
