Love that feeling when you take a project out for the first time and your listening and waiting and worrying and hoping nothing falls off or blows up and you get back home and you can stop holding your breath and relax because everything seems ok
I really like Dakota digital dashes. That really makes your dash look on point. They make a 64 Corvette. that would be perfect for my 46 drift truck make it feel like World War II fighter plane.
Finally had enough time off to catch up on your Challenger - just got done binge watching about 15 some episodes - whew! Congrats on the driving it! Happy for you and all your hard work is paying off. And those Dakota Digital gauges are pretty awesome. Can't wait to see what more gets done to it next year - congrats again!
I completely enjoyed your travel through this restoration. I worked on cars my whole life and it's not easy to find a young man in a restoration situation without a foul mouth or a tattooed life. This was quite refreshing. Also very informative for anyone interested in this kind of enjoyment. Ecclesiastes 9:10 the first part. Thanks again
The gauge cluster is bad ass. The Challenger really shaped up pretty well. I like the way the car sits on the road and looks good with that tire and wheel combo. Have a merry Christmas
Been following along from the beginning, major milestone, congratulations man! A crap ton of work, plenty of hurdles, skinned knuckles, and a few plan changes but it’s paying off. The original plan is coming together on a solid foundation and this is gonna be an awesome ride. 👍
Dylan think about how far the Challenger has came since that first video! WOW! When I first saw the Challenger it was hard to visualize the final product but now it's so cool to see! I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!
Dylan, that gauge setup is killer! Good to see you making progress too. That screeching noise, is just the Angry Pixies begging to be unleashed! So, when do we get to see the epic burnout???!!!
I wonder if it is due to the amount of smoke that comes out of the tale pipe, every time he starts up. Maybe ring aren't seating. Possibly cause spark plug fouling.
@@DylanMcCoolVideo i got a 1977 dodge d150 318 auto and has been sitting for 10+years my grandfather gave me. First time I am gonna be messing with carb on a car.
Congratulations on your first real drive. That should get you excited enough to finish her up. Merry Christmas and thank you for the always good content.
Nothing like the first time behind the wheel of a new build. I have an old folding chair that my Dad cut the legs off of 40 years ago for the first ride in the 40 Ford we built together. He sat in that chair, I sat on a case of oil, LOL. Those Dakota Digital gauges look awesome. I really like the retro look as opposed to the flashing numbers deal.
Dude I’ve been waiting for this! My 70 challenger project has been sitting for some time and I love when you put out a new video to get me motivated haha
The Exterior look iS Solid Love the Rustic look, Under the hood is NEW, cant wait for you get real seat That Gas can is bit sketchy , even for RoadKill Standards. Sounds good.
Very Nice first run. My first run after the rebuild was as nerve wracking and yet exhilarating. Nothing like a big block Mopar when she's purring. Great job!!! Yuletide Blessings from Murfreesboro.
Sometimes the smaller milestones can get us through to the next stage. But one's like this, give us the final drive to get it all sorted. Well Done Dyan, Merry Xmas to you and your family and see you all in 2021
Back on the roads of Tennessee after 35 years 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁. I know you’re so excited Dylan. Merry Christmas to you and your mom and dad. Have a Blessed One Sir.

Honestly I think your challenger is one of the best looking challengers I have ever seen the patina looks amazing it reminds me of something you would see in the fast and the furious or mad max
Love it!!! Congratulations !! You have been working hard on this one. Merry Christmas! I want to go back and see all you done to get this new engine in. Wiring would be a nightmare. Wow!

Absolutely!
Had this moment yesterday! I still keep checking to see if something is leaking lmao
nothing bad has happened... yet!
Wish my build was as far along as yours. Can’t believe how much you’ve gotten done.
Get 409k subs and you can.
Subs and sponsors or have a lot of money or both lol
Post the vids
@@bear1245 I have videos posted bud been at it for about a year now
Well, I’m a new subscriber I guess, I’ll watch the whole project from part 1 and I’ll stay tuned, just keep uploading these videos 😉
In a previous Challenger video I wondered if I would be alive to see it live under it's own power and I'm happy to say, I'm still alive!
this is awesome dude! So stoked to see this thing moving!
Seeing that car driving down the road...it’s a beautiful thing. I love the way it sounds.
Lets see- its raining, no wipers, throttle cable, brakes, and clutch all need adjusting- but its loud. Perfect time for a road test! Enjoyed it!
No seat.
You forgot no seat.
The car sure looks great rolling down the road under its own power Dylan . Phenomenal work . Cheers .

Just got my project Camaro back driving last week been parked since 97 . You can’t beat that feeling when you finally get to drive it . Nice car👍🏼
The tension and apprehension I felt on that test drive was perfectly reflected on Dylan's face. Awesome!
The wheel and tire package is just spot on. You've managed period correct but also modern they fill the Arch's without being too much. Nicely done!
Finally been waiting for this one! :) I'm digging that old blue Dodge 4X4 truck in the background!
Merry Christmas Dylan! Congrats on taking the challenger on a little spin. Can't wait to see more!
"Not the best way to do it but is a way to do it" Words to live by.
I am so happy for you. I’m thankful you have brought us along with you.
Awesome to see it moving. Is your steering wheel bent? When you turn it looks not symmetrical lol

Yeah, get that thing to a tuner. It’s sounds like a misfiring tractor! 😂
Big time. If you listen from the beginning to the end it seemed to get worse. Oh yeah, she's got a very bad misfire

I was thinking rings but could be mixture also. I don't think it's nothing serious either way
Congrats on your first drive my friend! Excited to see the killer progress. That car is going to move once it's tuned right!
If I were you I’d still put the rear Defog, you never know where you might be going with this car, my 2cent opinion.

I’ll never use it.
I live in IL and i rarely use my rear defogger tbh
