    One of the funniest roasts to date, Oz needs to be on these more often. My guess as to what Tarantino wrote would be some of the Charles Rocket stuff, because he's a big fan of Brian De Palma's DRESSED TO KILL, about a cross dresser stalking and killing women they're obsessed with, so I wouldn't be shocked if Quentin pulled from that flick as he often does with other movies.

      It's so crazy that Tarantino helped write the worst screenplay of 1994 while also writing the best. And what weirder is both Julia Sweeney and Kathy Griffin are in Pulp Fiction , and Both film are set in the same era of LA, and both were released by Disney at the time. So many weird connections between the two films

    It's true, that Pat was not non-binary, but just completely unaware of the other people's confusion. And yes, it's completely outdated and would not fly today, to make a movie, or even a skit like this anymore. That being said, as a non-binary person myself, some of Pat's replies to people's questions (in the skits anyway; not so much in the movie) are worthy of being written down by actual non-binary people, to mess with people who try to paint them into a binary corner.

    Man, you guys gotta do "Who's Your Caddy?". That movie is so bad it not only rips off the premise of Caddyshack, but also some parts of its awful sequel too. Oh? Did I forgot to mention it's not only got Jeffrey Jones from that Ferris Bueller movie, but also Terry Crews and the late James Avery?

    There's an voice-over gag during the credits where Charles Rocket calls into the talk show and basically reveals that he's had a crisis of gender after the events of the movie.
    He's the only reason to watch this thing, and even then you can just skip to his scenes. I wonder would the movie have been a tad bit better if he was the main character, gradually losing his mind, and Pat was a side character?

    • @mrcritical6751
      @mrcritical6751 Рік тому +4

      Honestly I think this could’ve worked as a mockumentary where Charles Rocket’s character is doing a documentary on Pat’s daily life and trying to just get one shot of them that confirms their gender whilst slowly going insane as he gets in too deep

    Yeah, they were pretty much setting Charles rocket to be the next Chevy Chase, but the fans loved Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo, and apparently, after he said, the F word that was the final nail in the coffin for his SNL run, after that you didn’t see him too much, except on dumb and dumber as the villain (just like in this film) and I remember seeing him in hocus-pocus as the dad and he was on king of queens as the repair guy where he was really funny that was one of his last appearances. I think that was about 2004 around time he died. Rip

    I'm non-binary myself and honestly this is just one of those things of the time that I remember being a thing in the 90s.
    Within my own community we basically call it " the one joke... But made into a entire movie and still not funny"
    Oh and speaking just outside of myself for a bit there are some people who do not mind being called it but it's usually in a BDSM context... C;
