Molly's been noticing how much freedom of speech and liberty they give Joy over at Undisputed, and decided to give it a try over on First Take. But Stephen A ain't having none of that😂 she just sounds irrelevant
You're a fucking dumbass kid. What did I say that was wrong exactly? Golden State is my least favourite team btw and KD is my least favourite player. Im guessing you're a Cleveland fan if you're acting like this
The NBA scammed us all. We knew what was gonna happen when Durant went to GS and we literally just spent like 7 months watching basketball for no reason
Jerry Huang yeah but Miami wasn't built up yet and LeBron was part of that rebuilding whereas kd joined a 3 all star team that obviously was already really good and then they were so good theyswept the playoffs like it was nothing. You can see why kd is called a snake when you understand kd joined a superteam while LeBron built one
KD did ruin the league, max and other people don't understand. When the lakers and Celtics were dominating in the 80s, it still wasn't clear who was going to the finals, (which is why the 2 teams never met 3 times in a row) when Jordan was doing his thing, we still didn't know who he was facing in the finals (out of 6 times he only saw the same team twice). The difference between those super teams and today is, at this point in the league and before this season even started it's clear that the warriors and cavs are going to the finals and it happened as expected this year, and unless shit change it will continue to happen for at least the next 2 or 3 years. The same two teams in the finals for 5-6 years? That's whack homie, where's the suspense ?
clutchbot 02 and that's something we can live with, he's a once in a generation player, like Jordan. Those people come around rarely so when they do it's something you just live with. Lebron and Jordan always lead their team to the finals in their prime but before KD joined the warriors (just like the 90s) we didn't know who was going to come out of the west so there's still that element of suspense and uncertainty. Once again KD fucked shit up. Jordan wasn't facing the same team out of the west every year and neither was bron, until KD fucked shit up. Once again, the same two teams in the finals for 5-6 years? That shit is WHACK homie.
Mr.Wavy24 and here it is, in 2018, and the Dubs swept the Cavs to win it all again. LeBron is leaving the Cavs. The Warriors will win the championship again in 2019, unless the King plays on a West team. If the King signs with the Rockets, then they will be an even BETTER team than the Dubs, but only if Paul George stays. If Paul leaves to go to the Lakers, and LeBron signs with Houston, then MAYBE the Rockets put out the Warriors in the West finals. If LeBron and Paul George sign with the Lakers, and Kawhi Leonard leaves S.A. and goes to the Lakers, then the Lakers will be contenders for the first time in ages. They COULD put out GS in the west Finals with a team like that. We will see what happens.
Dickie Bell It matters when a team is trying to call itself the best ever (as in, better than the 96 Bulls) ... but they're still so f-ing dominant that the lack of a ring last year is the only thing keeping them from that, and they're still a ridiculously overpowered choice of team for a guy whose goal is to be respected as champion.
He's not lying these playoffs have been the least interesting. Next year will be the same cause I don't see any other team really getting better to challenge Golden State. NBAs a essentially a 3 league team Spurs, Cavs, and Warriors.
2 of the team I just named are bout to get swept from the Warriors. If I say 3 that's me being lenient. We all know nobody is beating the Warriors for the next 2-3 years and maybe even longer if they're able to keep Dray and Klay when they become FA.
TruMusic89 how is it hypocrisy lebron James NBA finals record is 3 wins 4 loses. In other words his Miami and cavs teams were beatable. The warriors are sweeping the team with the best shot of beating them. There's no other team in the league that stands nearly as close of a chance as the cavs. An this is coming from a spurs fan. They have ruined the NBA season and possible the finals. For this year, and possibly many more going forward. Even in the Jordan era you didn't always know they'd make it to the finals, as several of the eastern conferences went 7 games.
But they're bout the sweep the team you say is also making the NBA uninteresting. The Warriors are light years ahead talent wise of the teams in the NBA.
Patrick fact. I do not believe the CAVs could've gotten past Portland. They have GSW problems. We all know the East is weak as fuck. That's why LeBron stays in the East. GSW & SPURS RULE the West alongside Houston. No way he'd get through those 3 teams in 7.
KD can take quarters off to let his teammates get his. LeBron takes his foot off the pedal for a second and the team falters lol that's the difference between these teams. That's also the difference between Bron going to Miami and KD going to GSW. Warriors could have won the title without KD lol they technically didn't even need him. The title was within reach for GSW last year(more so than any team that has ever lost the NBA finals since they were up 3-1). The won 73 games last year lol And one more thing, because personally, in my opinion, this is what really makes it worse than LeBron. KD was talking to Draymond about joining the Warriors during the WCF last year.. DURING THE SERIES!!! Did he throw the series? Did he give maybe a little less effort than he could have because he knew he was gone? I'm pretty sure if LeBron joined the Celtics(who were actually past their primes, not a 73 win team) after getting eliminated by them the year before and then it came out that Paul Pierce was recruiting him during their playoff series the year before.......the LeBron hate would be nonstop for the rest of his career lol Everyone's saying the win the proves the move was right lol I'm pretty sure the only reason people were bothered by the move in the first place was because it very well game them the best chance to win. It almost guaranteed it and people were saying since the moment Durant signed lol no one would have cared if he went to a moderately good team.
What's the point of every game being won by half-time. What's the point of watching a game that you know the outcome? It's just sad the dirty GSW had to injure the Spurs, which were the only team that had a chance to play a competitive game
Jafninetyfour Yeah and whats worse is that while us true basketball fans are suffering through this dark era of the NBA, we are subjected to all kinds of taunts and name calling from these classless GS fans. In my experience the worst fans in any American sport come from the coastal cities like New York, Miami, LA and now GS. I believe the reason for this is because of the high concentration of FOBs who tend to jump on any popular trend so that they can have the illusion of fitting in.
Honfy Lam lol stfu. None of the games were decided by halftime. The Spurs were not gonna beat the Warriors and for the love of God, Zaza didn't intentionally injure Kawhi. But wtf, if they're such a good team, why didn't Lemarcus step up, why did they blow that lead, why did they start sucking balls? It's not a one man show in San Antonio and by no means are they trash without him since they blew out another good ass team without him. GS is just a good team
come on, MJ and Bulls completed 3-peat TWICE, will you say MJ and Bulls ruined the NBA? right now GSW is just going to get the 2nd ring, and the first with KD.
Ya'll what KD did led to everything that happened in the 2017 offseason. It took time but it made the NBA hella interesting and competitive for the year after (at least in the west). It raised the bar.
I wouldnt particularly blame The team as a whole because they've developed their team by time but the addition of KD has made them completely unstoppable and it doesnt interest nba fans to watch them completely dominate the league and the post season unless youre a warriors fan.
Personally I loved seeing just how formidable the Warriors had become. I loved watching my Wizards show the East what they could do. Loved watching Russ put up crazy numbers. Maybe there wasn't much suspense because we knew who was going to the finals, but it was still fun to watch.
I think the NBA should follow in the NHL's footsteps and implement a hard-cap. Meaning teams are unable to pile up talent and just pay the luxury tax. Teams like the Cavs wouldn't exist when they have the highest payroll in NBA history. Also for the Warriors in 2 years when Klay and Draymond's contracts expire. There are things the NHL just do better than the NBA.
So you're saying the cavs ruined it then. Cuz the warriors didn't even hit their cap when they signed KD. They drafted well and now they have the luxury to add on so that was well done on their part. The thing I hate about lebron is he handpicked and bought all these players.
TheMLC35 I personally like watching my team going undefeated in the playoffs. It's very entertaining. Just like if someone else was watching their favorite team sweep everybody. All the haters can go cry in a corner somewhere. - Born and raised in Oakland btw
TheMLC35 greatest team ever? Seriously, dude? I wanna see this "greatest team ever" go up against the 01' lakers or the 95' bulls or Lebron's heat or the big three celtics. Are u fcking kidding me with "greatest team ever"?
Don't blame the GS Team, Blame the Team Organizations, Players Salary, Poor Training Regiments, and Immaturity! OKC didn't believe in KD they Believed in Westbrook. Westbrook mad because KD left before him! 😂
I'll never respect KD. He took the easy way out. I'm personally not going to watch the NBA except for the spurs anymore. It just isn't fun. I was ok with Jordan's bulls because it was almost as if Jordan was just so good that it was still a draw. This, just feels cheap, ya know? I respect the warriors as a whole, because they are a great team, and they are real champions. But when KD joined them, it felt cheap. Like building a all-star team in 2K then playing on easy mode. So for all of you who are going to watch, have fun. But for me, I'm not watching this non-sense. And KD will never be a champion in my eyes, even if he wins 10 rings. He doesn't have the heart of a champion.
“Hopefully the league can figure out one way where it can go back to the ’80s where you had three or four All-Stars, three or four superstars on the same team. The league was great. It wasn’t as watered down as it is [now].” -- LeBron James, Dec. 2010 Don't blame GSW. LeBron brought this all on himself.
And? When the '82 Sixers lost to the HOFer-heavy Lakers in the Finals. In '83 they added Moses Malone who won MVP that year, went 65-17 for the season, and 12-1 in the playoffs on their way to the title, including a sweep of the Lakers in the Finals. Malone won Finals MVP too. It didn't ruin the NBA; the league actually got more exciting right after it.
KD is ruining it? Thats just you being blatantly ignorant. Other teams this offseason WILL be making moves. You seem to fail to realize that there are free agents every single year and people get moved around, trades will be happening so that losing teams can get some type of value for their "stars" and build forward for the future. So what if there are 6 competitive teams going into next season because stars align other places and make it interesting... Is it still ruined? Because of KD? LeBron started all of this shit as far as Durant goes.
The NBA season has always been ruined to some degree, specifically in the East. LeBron has been making finals the last few years practically uncontested.
The Difference between the other great teams dominance and the warriors dominance is that back then, there were other teams that could at least give a good series to them. Utah and Seattle gave the bulls work in the finals game series making it entertaining, The Spurs and Pistons were there to disrupt the Lakers, and the Pacers, Boston, and Spurs all gave Miami a great series. There was no other team on the Warriors level this year (except for the spurs, but they were injured), leaving the series to be EXTREMELY lopsided sweeps.
Wilson Lewis Yea man, its plain as day that this season was boring from a fan's point of view and its also obvious that GSW sweeping everybody is the reason why. Max is so fucking annoying these days cause he's always trying to put a different spin on things simply to disagree with SAS.
Dan The man I'm not a warrior fan yet I have enjoyed this season a lot and I still enjoy watching the warriors because of their high level of skill and ball movement and defense it's impressive
This is a dynasty. The Celtics and Lakers in the 70s and 80s. The Bulls in the 90s. The Lakers again in the 90s - 2000s. Now we have Golden State Warriors.
It's all good tho. If the warriors are gonna play dirty and build a mega team, then so can the cavs. The cavs are loading up. The finals this year is about to look like the all star game.
Another thing about witnessing the best team ever is that this doesn't feel like a one year run or something coming to a close. If this is the best team ever than it feels like next years will be even better and the NBA could be non competitive for the next couple years
SAS is completely wrong when it comes to this, the Warriors have revolutionized the game of basketball and its bad for the NBA? Ratings are up so obviously not. We are witnessing the Warriors playing at the highest level of basketball ever, and we're saying its ruining the game SMH. Nobody is saying Lebron ruins the game of basketball when he forms not 1 but 2 super teams and has dominated the East for the last 7 years.
I don’t understand. Why can’t we say all other teams destroyed NBA by being mediocre? If a good team rises, shouldn’t the other teams rise to their level to be competitive to make the games challenging and exciting? It’s not as if the other teams can’t work hard like GS.
So Max was defending the Warriors and Stephen A was hating them? Oh how the turntables. Max is right. People gotta stop complaining about a team for not being too good!
2 championships out of 4 finals appearances. 1 of those was a 7 games series. Do you realize that the heat were actually worse than sas. No team is better that gsw
There's no denying this season was boring as hell. Before it even started literally everyone knew who would be in the finals. And because of that, they kept looking at their watch like hurry up lets get to the finals already and watch the cavs and warriors go at it.
So did LeBum and Miami ruin the season too? Did Cleveland easily running thru the east 2 years in a row ruin the season? It's just crazy how people were like "73-9 don't mean nothing if they didn't get the ring" but now yall mad at KD? What exactly do yall want?!
Ahmad Randolph Miami had to deal with: Boston's Big 4, the defending 2 time champions LA Lakers, a great young OKC team, Dallas, the unstoppable Spurs, Indiana etc. Golden State has to deal with: ... Cleveland? Houston, SA and OKC have no chance against them.
"Lebron went Miami; KD went to Cleveland," it doesn't matter jumping ship is jumping ship!!!""""" So stop crying and play ball!!!""""" Why is it ok for lebron to run after a ring and not KD?!""""" Both jump the bandwagon!!!""""""
They literally had TWO. Two players. The rest were all role players. And the competition was more evenly spread out. The warriors have 4 lol. Two of them who were the last 3 mvps. The lakers didnt have that. Talent disparity is completely off.
Jaden Ray i argue 3 because dray is really more of a threat on the defensive but anyway. Lakers was dominating teams just like gsw was. My point is that we as fans need to enjoy this just like fans enjoyed that lakers run.
Dray spreads the floor and can create for players like steph or klay with with his passing. Not to mention the fact hes an all nba player and defensive player of the year candidate. The talent was fine last year beccause the spurs and thunder could honestly compete with the warriors. Now its just different tbh.
GET OVER IT STEPHEN A. seriously bitching about how you feel about KDs move is not going to change the fact that he is on GS. you can criticize him all you want and belittle him as much as you want on national tv. But at the end of the day, he made a decision to better his career just like everyone else does in the NBA.
To be fair, maybe KD has In mind a return to OKC later on, you never know, but It's really Insane that a 73 freaking win team can add a top 3 player, and also maintain most the roster from the 73 wins. It's absolutely crazy, and somehow It should not have been allowed. The NBA Is going to regret It soon. If not already, people are tuning out. I know the league has always been top heavy, but this with the Warriors I think Is unprecedented.
So it's okay for Lebron to dominate the east for 7 straight years but when Warriors are about to sweep him, they're the ones who ruined everything? Okay
It's about competitiveness. Miami went to game 7 against Indiana and Boston while he was there in back to back years. Just because Lebron has gone to 7 straight finals doesn't mean it was easy every year.
It was easy. Don't pretend like we didn't know who was going to come out of those Heat vs whoever series. The only series the Heat truly has to work for was Heat and Celtics Conference Finals 2012.
I thought so at first but the performance of the Pacers in game 7 was pathetic. They were not playing like a team that wanted to advance and by the start of the 4th Quarter it was already a wrap.
This is why I hate GSW haters because now that they are coming out the west year in & out the nba sucks. But wait, it didn't suck when the bulls did it or when the lakers did it. It also didn't suck year after year LeBron made it to the finals but now that the GSW are about to win and make NBA history it sucks. Logic... Go Warriors, I hope that KD & SC win 5 rings together and ruin the nba for the haters.
Goat Like - It isnt unfair tho. Other teams should be able to get talented teams but dont. OKC didnt wanna keep harden there. Miami didnt even wanna pay Wade what he earned. Other players can go where ever the fuck they want. Especially if they are FREE AGENTS!
He was a free agent..he signed with another team, Goat. Last time I checked a team signing a player was within the rules. Do you think companies like Apple are going to settle with how they're doing or are trying to get better?
dude im not a hater at all but u have to look from a neutral perspective, watching one team dominate then add one of the best players the game has seen is boring
when KD made a move to join gsw, most of the people predicted that its not going to work cause they labelled KD CURRY AND THOMPSON as CHOCKERS..and now that they proved the haters wrong y'all losing your mind? pathetic
it been that way for a long time you can't blame that on KD or golden State blame it on the League quit hating on Golden State and KD you didn't say that when Miami was winning stephen.a Smith you weak just like the Eastern Conference
Hold up Warriors ruined it? The east has been ruined by LeBron because he just takes his team to the finals every year, fym. There's no real competition.
Jay Complex Kid Randle nah, the decision he made was the best. Going to the east is stupid for the fact all the teams are far weaker than the West... Period.
KaoMinerva you don't think KD on the Wizards or Celtics could have beaten the cavs? Haha you don't know shit then, KD made a super weak move for an easy chip, and the only people that are enjoying these playoffs are Warriors fans and bandwagons.
Hold the fuck up lets backtrack. GSW drafted their original core from Klay, Steph, Draymond who all became all stars. They are the most respectable franchise when it comes to player development and team culture. The moment they sign a top 5 player it is now their fault for ruining the NBA? They were just smart with their picks and they got lucky with some of their contracts and the stars aligned with KD wanting to join up. Lebron joining a team with 2 all stars and joining another team after with 2 other all stars is not ruining the NBA? Lebron has dominated the East for the past 7 years. Cleveland swept the first 2 rounds last year and went 12-1 this year in the East. Spurs being up 20 points against GSW in game 1 showed that the WCF was going to be competitve but the only reason it wasn't was because of the ankle injuries. Boston didn't have a healthy IT either but it was pretty clear they had rebounding problems and nowhere near the superstar talent of Cleveland. It's ridiculous to say GSW ruined the NBA season when there were superstar injuries to Kawhi and IT which was the main reason the conference finals was boring and it's ridiculous to say they ruined the nba when Lebron has been doing this shit for years with 7 straight finals appearances.
I swear Stephan A. is as emotional as a teen age girl going through mood swings. Praises GSW one minute the switches up the next 😂😂😂...just enjoy the fact that we are all witnessing one of the greatest teams to ever play!
For the guys saying that LeBron 7 straight and KD to GSW are the same. I know by experience, many people who stopped watching NBA this year because there's no competition. At least LeBron loses in the Finals, and actually he doesn't demolish the regular season and playoff rounds, his teams aren't that great. This GSW team is so stacked by the fact the 2nd best player in the world and possibly Top 2 greatest scorers in the league, joined them after a record 73-9 season.
Chad Bagley Would hitler have joined the U.S. because they defeated him? Would the U.S. have joined Germany and the nazis if they defeated us? Would Luke have joined the dark side simply because Vader or the emperor defeated him?
I gotta agree with SAS on this one. I was waiting all year for this matchup and the Cavs keep throwing up low percentage shots and playing horrid defense against a team so stacked that any mistakes mean a loss. It's been the most disappointing NBA season of my 27 year old life. It's not all GSW's fault, though. The teams with the other superstars were boring to watch aside from Russ Westbrook who really didn't have a shot to get to the Finals anyway. You know its bad when you're watching the Twolves and Lakers just to be excited for the future of the game.
You guys act like he went to the team he lost too because he didn't like OKC, he went there because the warriors offered him and he knew how good they were and it was a free ring. If anyone was in that position they would do so, what do you expect to happen when the best team in the league has interest for you. You'll join them.
I dunno. I enjoyed watching Westbrook averaging a triple-double. I enjoyed the debates on who should be MVP: Westbrook or harden. I enjoyed watching the dumpster fire that was the Knicks, both on AND off the court. I enjoyed watching how much fun GSW is having. I enjoyed seeing Isaiah Thomas beast life for the Celtics the way he did. Honestly, the worst part have been the Playoffs in general. Whether I know the outcome or not, I want to have competitive games. That wasn't simply Golden State's fault. Games in general were wack; seeing blowout after blowout in BOTH conferences. People are quick to blame GSW for ruining it, but I didn't hear anyone crying when Lebron & the Cavs have a fucking 40 point domination over the Celtics. Max Kellerman might have taken Skip Bayless' place on the show.... But Skip's bias and damn-near senile mentality was definitely passed onto Stephen A.
B Life it was their first year together and they're still trying to figure the chemistry out plus roberson went down when they were starting to click as a team. Now if those three along with Adams all stay together for another season they will do much better because they see how each other play and I know each other styles. The Thunder needs to keep the same players so they can constantly build chemistry hello it's like they changed up the roster a whole lot every year so that they can't ever have a consistent core
@@Agentshadowolf Well thats their own fault. There are so many super teams that failed because of lack of chemistry, or clashing egos. It even took the Heat some time after losing to the Cavs. What was the key? Wade understood that as great as he was, he wasnt LeBron, and in the next season he gave LeBron the keys to the team, and they all understood that he was #1 and Wade was #2. Bosh had to sacrifice as well. Golden State succeeded in their first year! Because Steph accepted being #2 on the team, because KD was #1. Even though he could've made his case for being the better player at the time after having one of the greatest regular seasons of all time the last year and was the face of the franchise, he was willing to change his game and take a backset to KD. Klay made an even bigger sacrifice. He could've been the #1 guy on half the teams in the NBA. He's one of the best catch-and-shoot shooters of all time, he scored 37 points in a quarter, 60 points in 29 minutes when having possession of the ball for 90 seconds, is a guaranteed hall of famer, already had to be the second option for years because he was playing with Curry. He accepted his role as the third option knowing he was going to be underrated. GSW's system of ball movement and unselfishness helped as well. Nobody has to worry about wether they'll get the ball in the 4th quarter. But when KD was hot they fed him the ball. When Steph was hot, they fed him the ball. When Klay was hot they fed him the ball. Thats why their team worked when so many others failed.
Nathan Ramos Absolutely!! I fucking hate listening to him when he uses boxing and baseball analogies to talk about basketball. As far as I'm concerned, two sports that are infested with mutherfuckers who sound like Tony Montana should NEVER be mentioned in the same breath as NBA basketball.
This rivalry and trilogy (maybe more) will go down as one of the most memorable storylines in NBA HISTORY. Lakers vs Celtics, Pistons vs Bulls, Warriors vs Cavs. True fans of the game should be enjoying it knowing they are seeing something rare, like a meteor passing by once every century. Even this overpowered Warriors team should be enjoyed because it's not going to last. Many pieces had to fall into place for it to work, but it will come apart. So I say again, everyone should enjoy these rare moments while they last.
Only beacuse they built theirself as a team really great its not their fault, take Lebron to Houston or whatever team make superteam and dont complain if they lose..Heat was a superteam 2 but nobody complained so idk whats the big deal now
lebron been holding the east hostage for 7 years now. SAS never mentions that though. warriors made it more competitive no one wants to see lebron win every single year
zero Nobody knows if the Cavs or Warriors would have won if the teams had a trilogy together, then KD came and ruined any chance of a good series for the next 3-4 years.
zero wtf is that statement lebron is 3-4 in the finals so theyre beatable and teams back then were competetive. now this year kd joined a superteam that was close winning last year but fucked up and now having durant they would dominate this league.
There is this delusion that the only reason to enjoy the game is through close competition. It has to be said that every now and then witnessing history can be very very enjoyable to watch! And right now, we are witnessing history
I'm so sick off hearing Stephen A being this crybaby. LeBron started this mess with bringing those super teams together. By the why U have to consider GSW drafted 3 off there 4 Superstars on their own. Unlike the Heat and unlike this version off the Cavs. So stopp blaming KD for this I don't care that he had joint the team witch defeated him in the conference finals witch Stephen A brings up all the time if the Cavs would have had the space LeBron would have moved heaven and earth to get KDs talents to the Land. He figured he couldn't win with Russel and went to place were he could. Not hating Stephen A but be consistent right now ur phony AF.
lol. it's not the warrior's fault that they're good at basketball... it's not the warriors fault that kd went to them... and this is the first time you see kd in an actual TEAM. a team that is willing to PASS, not relying on hero ball every close moment, an actual team where your star players are unselfish. kd just wanted to play in that environment... if anything, the warriors should be praised because they showed the world how great of a player durant is and is capable of being. ppl salty just cause the warriors are so close to winning it all in commanding fashion.
Don't argue the warriors didn't ruin it. You can't tell me you like it now c9mpared to if Durant were on the thunder and we don't know who will win. Could of been Cavs spurs thunder warriors and even the celtecs if they still make a bold move in free agency. Bit now whenever i think NBA, I think about my team the heat, and then I think can anyone beat this team????? Please????? Anyone?????? And to top it off I have to hear people say Durant is better than LeBron which is ridiculous.
The NBA installed a cap so that teams would be competitive and on a level playing field. So 4 or 5 of the best players in the league couldn't sign with one team. They assumed the cap would work because many of these players want money. The more the better. Instead of complaining about the Warriors building a team the right way, why not complain about just how bad the rest of the league is? They had the opportunity to sign KD, which not many playoff teams would would have been able to do in the first place. The Cavs just lost in the Finals, but they can't go out and add a big time free agent which is exactly what the Warriors did by signing KD. The Rockets and Blazers both lost in the playoffs, but they can't add a big time free agent. The ironic part is that the Warriors wanted to sign KD because they've just lost to the Cavaliers. And the most incredible part is, and people don't seem to understand how impossible this would have been, but if the Warriors did win the Championship last year, they still could have signed KD. Most Championship teams are well over the cap and into the luxury tax. So think about just how great of a job the Warriors' organization did.
willemdee a) The East is a weak-ass conference, b) at least there was always some drama in the West, and c) the Finals were never a done deal for LBJ's teams.
Stephen A is right. The lack of parity in the league is sickening. To have the same two teams meet in the championship series four years in a row, and to have the same winner three of those four years, is just awful TV. And unless you're a Golden State fan, what is there to be invested in?
I remember when LeBron went to Miami and stayed for a couple years. The NBA was predictable then you already knew the Heat we're winning championships. If people don't like we're the NBA is at right now then don't watch. It's simple.
Bron Matthews LeBron never went 16-0 with most games being blowouts, the pacers, Celtics, and bulls all gave good competitive series. The Warriors made this playoffs extemely boring.
Bron Matthews oh and they lost 2 out of their 4 finals, while it looks like this warriors team will cake walk the next 3-4 years, it's so fucking lame if you aren't a warriors fan.
Please use your brain before posting dumb shit like this, no matter how small it is. I don't remember any Lebron's teams going 16-0 through the playoffs or joining a 73-9 team with 3 All Stars that just beat him a year before. Not trying to defend Lebum, he got ripped for his move to Miami and rightfully so but it isn't even comparable to KD going to GSW and the NBA wasn't even close to being boring then as it is now.
LeBron has only gone to the finals the past few years because the East has been a severely weak conference since The Lakers and Celtics Final in 2010. Him going is not an actual reflection of his talent or skill because there is no competition. When he went to the Heat they had a 20 something game win streak one year but everybody wants to act like the Heat were a completely broken team. The bias when it comes to LeBron is ridiculous. I'm not a KD or Warriors fan by the way, my team is the Wizards.
NFL and NBA are both suffering from a lack of competitiveness from the lower half (possibly lower 75%) of the league. None of the the teams that were consistently bad have yet to turn it around so the league has a new contender
Kd the type of person to play on rookie diffuculty in 2K and say why not?
Alpha X
LMAO!!😂
Alpha X hahaha😂😂😂
Alpha X lol
and average a triple double the whole season lol
and Lebron playing every season of his career in the East is what? D-League level difficulty?
Molly's been noticing how much freedom of speech and liberty they give Joy over at Undisputed, and decided to give it a try over on First Take. But Stephen A ain't having none of that😂 she just sounds irrelevant
Buhle Mwanza. And at least Joy knows a little bit about basketball unlike Molly
I 100% agree with you my friend, overall, apart from Stephen A Smith I think FS1 has a way better crew than ESPN
Buhle Mwanza Difference is joys not annoying and undisputed is way more playful when they debate. skip and Shannon are both trolls lol
Allen Iverson ur a dumbass warriors bandwagon stfu kid
You're a fucking dumbass kid. What did I say that was wrong exactly? Golden State is my least favourite team btw and KD is my least favourite player. Im guessing you're a Cleveland fan if you're acting like this
Molly keeps trying to talk and nobody pays her any attention 😂
because she don't know shit about basketball
it's her fault not being good enough, I remember Cari Champion doing just fine, Skip Bayless was much meaner than Max Kellerman
Motherfucker like she deserves
no really, Molly should shut the hell up!!!!!! She's not part of the debate.
The way people talk about female reporters is crazy and disrespectful. Lml and y'all wonder why feminism exist 😭
The NBA scammed us all. We knew what was gonna happen when Durant went to GS and we literally just spent like 7 months watching basketball for no reason
This!
Exactly
It’ll be great when Curry retires.... I’d like to see him join another team like the Jazz or the Pelicans
The other teams need to get smart and start making trades
And to this day I can barely watch the nba. Everyone keeps riding the warriors acting like they didn’t ruin everything
it's not that I don't like KD's success, it's just how he did it
Chaz Bustos - Free Agents leave all the time
That Bitch Kristine Leahy #StayInYoLane not to the team that beats them and not to your ultimate rival. Bitches make bitch moves
That Bitch Kristine Leahy #StayInYoLane not to the team that bears them and not to your ultimate rival. Bitches make bitch moves
Then put lebron's name in your comment too. Remember how he left. DON;T EVER FORGET I'M TAKING MY TALENTS TO MIAMI on national TV
Mr.Wavy24 Lebron ruined the eastern conference for the past 7 yrs
clutchbot 02 and that's something we can live with, he's a once in a generation player, like Jordan.
Mr.Wavy24
Well, taking that logic Warriors are a once in a lifetime team. Let them be.
Bdot Hancho I fell asleep watching the finals this year, I suppose that is still a view right?
When you allow Durant to join a 73 win team what u expect
Shady Slim facts
Shady Slim Expect to win. What else?
Funny, last year, 73-9 didn't matter because they didn't get a ring, now it does somehow because they're going to
3 finals in 3 years.
These warriors are nothing to comparied to the 2082 warrior's 80-2. 16-0 playoffs
Aged well, they have no klay either, no iggy, no kd, no Livingston, draymond punching everyone. Steph just alone, they’re going 0-82
He's not lying these playoffs have been the least interesting. Next year will be the same cause I don't see any other team really getting better to challenge Golden State. NBAs a essentially a 3 league team Spurs, Cavs, and Warriors.
James K 2018 cavs coming for revenge
James K it's always only about 3 teams that can win every year In the NBA. now it coulldd be a problem if its really 1 team
Then NBA should just go top 16 Teams for playoffs, not this EAST and WEST Finals.
Patrick fact. I do not believe the CAVs could've gotten past Portland. They have GSW problems. We all know the East is weak as fuck. That's why LeBron stays in the East. GSW & SPURS RULE the West alongside Houston. No way he'd get through those 3 teams in 7.
KaoMinerva LMAO @ portland. Im sleep
KaoMinerva why did cleveland win against the west superstar team last finals, why couldnt they beat the weak team and why did they blow a 3-1 lead?
***** Shitt why didnt durant go to the east then 🤔
LeBeautiful we all know Green getting suspended shifted the momentum. Why you stuck on last year in the face of a sweep TONIGHT?
let's all be honest next season will be more boring, cause we all know who's gonna be the best team and whos gonna win it all!
next season is all about Cavs vs Warriors part 4 of the finals, AGAIN!!!
Surprise it happened
Other teams need to improve some how
Stephen A. grabbing his notebook and pen killed me 😂 the sarcasm
The won 73 games last year lol
And one more thing, because personally, in my opinion, this is what really makes it worse than LeBron. KD was talking to Draymond about joining the Warriors during the WCF last year.. DURING THE SERIES!!! Did he throw the series? Did he give maybe a little less effort than he could have because he knew he was gone? I'm pretty sure if LeBron joined the Celtics(who were actually past their primes, not a 73 win team) after getting eliminated by them the year before and then it came out that Paul Pierce was recruiting him during their playoff series the year before.......the LeBron hate would be nonstop for the rest of his career lol
Everyone's saying the win the proves the move was right lol I'm pretty sure the only reason people were bothered by the move in the first place was because it very well game them the best chance to win. It almost guaranteed it and people were saying since the moment Durant signed lol no one would have cared if he went to a moderately good team.
Onlyrealmusic4life - If i could like this comment more than once, I would.
Don't tell me BLOWOUTS ARE GOOD FOR THE NBA! It's not! FFS
Right lol ... this is the nba not D1 vs D3 lol
What's the point of every game being won by half-time. What's the point of watching a game that you know the outcome? It's just sad the dirty GSW had to injure the Spurs, which were the only team that had a chance to play a competitive game
Jafninetyfour
Yeah and whats worse is that while us true basketball fans are suffering through this dark era of the NBA, we are subjected to all kinds of taunts and name calling from these classless GS fans.
Jafninetyfour
its actually hilarious and entertaining
come on, MJ and Bulls completed 3-peat TWICE, will you say MJ and Bulls ruined the NBA? right now GSW is just going to get the 2nd ring, and the first with KD.
Mario Macdiesel - I happen to be a long time Bay Area Native and Warriors fan since 94.
That Bitch Kristine Leahy #StayInYoLane your still a bitch
Jimmy Bonez do you enjoy the NBA
Personally I loved seeing just how formidable the Warriors had become. I loved watching my Wizards show the East what they could do. Loved watching Russ put up crazy numbers. Maybe there wasn't much suspense because we knew who was going to the finals, but it was still fun to watch.
I will always respect Stephen A Smith and what he says, always says it from the heart
If witnessing the greatest team ever means watching a team easily go 16-0 in the playoffs, then yes, its boring.
Are u fcking kidding me with "greatest team ever"?
rybo joho I never said they were, witnessing the the greatest team ever is a Max Kellerman quote from the video. Video that you probably didn't watch
Michael Hearn Its only entertaining if its your team, you wouln't feel the same if the spurs or the cavs went 16-0
Dirk singlehandedly beat that Heat Big 3!
Don't blame the GS Team, Blame the Team Organizations, Players Salary, Poor Training Regiments, and Immaturity! OKC didn't believe in KD they Believed in Westbrook. Westbrook mad because KD left before him! 😂
as much as i love russ he woulda left to oKC if the chance arose
Lmaooooo Westbrook been wanted to leave
Kassim A. Ibrahim I guess that’s why he signed an extension? 🤔
Game 6 2016 wcf and u tell me who fucked it all up. 10-31 and yes he threw that game so he could join a 73-9 team snake aaa 🤷♂️
He ain't lying season was wack
Nobody gives a fuck be gone bitch
If your are a Cavs fan!
Whopper Mage6171 we do give a fuck dumbass
I give a fuck.
We do indeed give a fuck about this season being complete ASSSSSS
Anybody watching this 2020 in quarantine?
Stephen A is the most entertaining person ever omg love his energy
Stephen A., I hope you read this. Tell the NBA to get on the level of Warriors instead of telling the Warriors to drop to the level of the NBA.
Goat Like it's not the warriors fault. Steph and KD just simply work harder than everyone. Tell the rest of the NBA to work as hard as them.
Timothy Clarkppp
preach
Goat Like Curry, Draymond, and Thompson was drafted by the Warriors
Daniel Alvarez
Not all teams are willing to do what Kevin Durant did. Some people actually have integrity and RESPECT FOR THE GAME.
I totally agreed
Mr Nothing you guys are all just mad lebron aint the best and there are actually players present to prove it now.
BatNigg-_- Pretty sure LeBrons playoff performance in his 15th season prove he's the best. 1 man can't take on 4 allstars.
Mr. Awesome lmao he doesnt even equate to what Jordan did, stop fanboying. Curry already catching Lebron, straight hawking him down.
BatNigg-_- ya by winning no finals mvps
“Hopefully the league can figure out one way where it can go back to the ’80s where you had three or four All-Stars, three or four superstars on the same team. The league was great. It wasn’t as watered down as it is [now].”
-- LeBron James, Dec. 2010
Don't blame GSW. LeBron brought this all on himself.
Leroy Green they love to ignore he planned Miami and the Cleveland situation. The nucleus of the warriors team was DRAFTED!
KaoMinerva wait a minute, everyone is fine being this and that for the warriors. but kd signed in and joined thats the problem
Leroy Green people just mad. LeBron not getting no ring playa.
Leroy Green not rly super teams were already a thing before lebron. No one says how Jordan was on a super team. Jordan had 2 three peats
He right the NBA is 🤢🗑trash now KD ruining it
Cuz he's to good
datboy donny no one talking about how lebron went on a streak in the playoffs.
You make another human speak your words. Fabulous
LeBron started all of this shit as far as Durant goes.
datboy donny W
The NBA season has always been ruined to some degree, specifically in the East. LeBron has been making finals the last few years practically uncontested.
Goat Like did anyone ever think they wasnt?
xDICE wow the "goat like" is the other person name
the salt is real. I don't think kd would have got this much hate if he joined the cavs. everybody just want lebron to win now.
There was no other team on the Warriors level this year (except for the spurs, but they were injured), leaving the series to be EXTREMELY lopsided sweeps.
damn Max is rarely ever realistic. GSW ruined the season, specifically KD.
Wilson Lewis for you not everyone
Wilson Lewis
Yea man, its plain as day that this season was boring from a fan's point of view and its also obvious that GSW sweeping everybody is the reason why. Max is so fucking annoying these days cause he's always trying to put a different spin on things simply to disagree with SAS.
Huey Freeman for everyone not a warriors fan? for everyone that wants to be kept guessing somewhat?
Dan The man I'm not a warrior fan yet I have enjoyed this season a lot and I still enjoy watching the warriors because of their high level of skill and ball movement and defense it's impressive
Huey Freeman so u enjoy watching blowouts with a team u don't support?
This is a dynasty. The Celtics and Lakers in the 70s and 80s. The Bulls in the 90s. The Lakers again in the 90s - 2000s. Now we have Golden State Warriors.
This season was bull shit
bull chicago bulls
facts. soccer was better this season lol
Eric Britto half the world watches soccer stfu bitch
It's all good tho. If the warriors are gonna play dirty and build a mega team, then so can the cavs. The cavs are loading up. The finals this year is about to look like the all star game.
Another thing about witnessing the best team ever is that this doesn't feel like a one year run or something coming to a close. If this is the best team ever than it feels like next years will be even better and the NBA could be non competitive for the next couple years
Players leaving college early is destroying the NBA! The NBA is full of talentless millionaires!
That Stephen A intro sounded like the Rock recalling all his achievements in the WWE about to fight his last fight...
Stephen A and Charles are the only ones speaking the truth about this BS.
I guess the bulls ruined basket ball
He doesn't like the Warriors that is his reason. LeBron's move killed the NBA.
JaCrispy would u watch sports for rating??
JaCrispy has lebron not been to the finals in the last 7years? Honest question, i dont watch NBA if my boy Curry aint on the court.
I don’t understand. Why can’t we say all other teams destroyed NBA by being mediocre? If a good team rises, shouldn’t the other teams rise to their level to be competitive to make the games challenging and exciting? It’s not as if the other teams can’t work hard like GS.
Your delusional 😂🤣
So Max was defending the Warriors and Stephen A was hating them? Oh how the turntables. Max is right. People gotta stop complaining about a team for not being too good!
Delusional
The reason why a lot of people would say that the warriors ruined the nba is because they just want to see lechoke's team winning the championship.
Yet you enjoyed it when Lebron joined Miami......Smh. GTHOH. Steven A.
eyeh8u even tho the heat was a super team they still had competion, warriors are just going to sweep every finals
2 championships out of 4 finals appearances. 1 of those was a 7 games series. Do you realize that the heat were actually worse than sas. No team is better that gsw
eyeh8u the heat were 45-37 before LBJ joined
There's no denying this season was boring as hell. Before it even started literally everyone knew who would be in the finals. And because of that, they kept looking at their watch like hurry up lets get to the finals already and watch the cavs and warriors go at it.
So did LeBum and Miami ruin the season too? Did Cleveland easily running thru the east 2 years in a row ruin the season? It's just crazy how people were like "73-9 don't mean nothing if they didn't get the ring" but now yall mad at KD? What exactly do yall want?!
Ahmad Randolph
Miami had to deal with: Boston's Big 4, the defending 2 time champions LA Lakers, a great young OKC team, Dallas, the unstoppable Spurs, Indiana etc.
Cuyler Hawkins KD joined a super team LeBron didn't
Bruh Miami was garbage before LeBron got there😂😂
it's funny lakers get praise for going 15-1 in the playoffs, but when gsw is nearly about to sweep "NBA is ruined" come on cuhhh.
Jaden Ray spurs can still compete imo i think gsw dodge a bullet when kawhi went down.
stephon kerr It goes back further than that. The Lakers came out of the West 8 times in the 80s
The cavs just swept through the entire eastern conference now it's a problem when they get swept ?
GET OVER IT STEPHEN A. seriously bitching about how you feel about KDs move is not going to change the fact that he is on GS. you can criticize him all you want and belittle him as much as you want on national tv. But at the end of the day, he made a decision to better his career just like everyone else does in the NBA.
Stephen A Smith highlights exactly the reason i didnt watch a single NBA game until the Conference finals.
The whole first minute was Stephen a smith talking about himself
To be fair, maybe KD has In mind a return to OKC later on, you never know, but It's really Insane that a 73 freaking win team can add a top 3 player, and also maintain most the roster from the 73 wins. It's absolutely crazy, and somehow It should not have been allowed. The NBA Is going to regret It soon. If not already, people are tuning out. I know the league has always been top heavy, but this with the Warriors I think Is unprecedented.
So it's okay for Lebron to dominate the east for 7 straight years but when Warriors are about to sweep him, they're the ones who ruined everything? Okay
Marlon Ndoro LeBron is the GOAT, that's why
It's about competitiveness. Miami went to game 7 against Indiana and Boston while he was there in back to back years. Just because Lebron has gone to 7 straight finals doesn't mean it was easy every year.
It was easy. Don't pretend like we didn't know who was going to come out of those Heat vs whoever series. The only series the Heat truly has to work for was Heat and Celtics Conference Finals 2012.
Richie Porter I disagree. Those Pacers teams were pretty damn tough. Lebron had to have some all-time great performances in order to beat them.
I thought so at first but the performance of the Pacers in game 7 was pathetic. They were not playing like a team that wanted to advance and by the start of the 4th Quarter it was already a wrap.
If you are reading this happy New Year it's 2020 be blessed
NYC1E1 4 allstars dumbass 4 allstars fake NBA fan
Goat Like 73 win team didn't mean a thing without a ring.
dude im not a hater at all but u have to look from a neutral perspective, watching one team dominate then add one of the best players the game has seen is boring
The golden State warriors just did what they want keep winning and don't matter what people say
when KD made a move to join gsw, most of the people predicted that its not going to work cause they labelled KD CURRY AND THOMPSON as CHOCKERS..and now that they proved the haters wrong y'all losing your mind? pathetic
Only Stephen A can turn a simple question about the state of the NBA into a Linkedin professional experience profile.
it been that way for a long time you can't blame that on KD or golden State blame it on the League quit hating on Golden State and KD you didn't say that when Miami was winning stephen.a Smith you weak just like the Eastern Conference
The rockets took GS to 7 games... and if it wasn't for Chris Paul getting hurt they'd be in the finals
Nope. It was 2-1 before Iguodala injured. Next year, healthy Rockets couldnt Beat Warriors without KD and Cousins.
@@sirenamiw6313 Exactly
Hold up Warriors ruined it? The east has been ruined by LeBron because he just takes his team to the finals every year, fym. There's no real competition.
Super Dick fact. Everyone knows his stacked teams will be in the finals.
Super Dick imo Durant going somewhere in the east could've been the answer to that problem.
It's ridiculous to say GSW ruined the NBA season when there were superstar injuries to Kawhi and IT which was the main reason the conference finals was boring and it's ridiculous to say they ruined the nba when Lebron has been doing this shit for years with 7 straight finals appearances.
thank god am not the only one that feels like this
yeah NBA sucks when Cavs get 4#1 draft in 2 decade and the Warriors last #1 draft was Joe Smith...
And the draft has to do with this... how?
irrelevant ass post Patrick lol
No they didn't. Most of their players were home grown. They acquired an efficient scorer and defender in KD. KD had to leave Russ. No big deal
LET IT GO Stephen A. Smith, We all make moves to accomplish our life time Goals.
Chad Bagley Would hitler have joined the U.S. because they defeated him?
Would the U.S. have joined Germany and the nazis if they defeated us?
Would Luke have joined the dark side simply because Vader or the emperor defeated him?
Chad Bagley amen
I gotta agree with SAS on this one. I was waiting all year for this matchup and the Cavs keep throwing up low percentage shots and playing horrid defense against a team so stacked that any mistakes mean a loss. It's been the most disappointing NBA season of my 27 year old life. It's not all GSW's fault, though. The teams with the other superstars were boring to watch aside from Russ Westbrook who really didn't have a shot to get to the Finals anyway. You know its bad when you're watching the Twolves and Lakers just to be excited for the future of the game.
Y'all sleeping on the Spurs. GS aint gonna be shit next year against a healthy Kawhi and possibly the addition of CP3. #SpursNation
Westbrook Melo and George didn't pan out now you blaming GS.
Kellerman should stick to boxing
Nathan Ramos seriously his straw man argument is laughable
Nathan Ramos
Absolutely!! I fucking hate listening to him when he uses boxing and baseball analogies to talk about basketball. As far as I'm concerned, two sports that are infested with mutherfuckers who sound like Tony Montana should NEVER be mentioned in the same breath as NBA basketball.
lmaooo this has me rolling
A team with a bunch of superstars just takes the fun out the game
If Kevin Durant is the greatest player why don't he go lead his own team... owe wait he can't
Sam Moore my same point he can't he a follower
Sam Moore he led his team to the finals when he was 23.
I say the same thing about Lebron, and yet you get triggered.
Why did lebron go create a super team in Miami ?
Meanwhile KD gets a ring and you will continue talking for years about this
This rivalry and trilogy (maybe more) will go down as one of the most memorable storylines in NBA HISTORY.
Only beacuse they built theirself as a team really great its not their fault, take Lebron to Houston or whatever team make superteam and dont complain if they lose..Heat was a superteam 2 but nobody complained so idk whats the big deal now
You know the NBA is ruined when you KNOW who's gonna win
Smh double standards 😒
imee esgana there is none
"i love all the nba moms" - stephen a. smith
lebron been holding the east hostage for 7 years now.
LeBron is 3 of 4 lmao. What NBA have you been watching he's 3 of 7 about to be 3 of 8.
Richie Porter he not 3-7 in the finals he ain't been to 10 finals
warrior isnt winning without KD
How is it the warriors fault that other teams suck? Gms need to scout talent , players need to work on their skillset
There is this delusion that the only reason to enjoy the game is through close competition. It has to be said that every now and then witnessing history can be very very enjoyable to watch! And right now, we are witnessing history
Conferences ruin the league not the warriors
Lmfao Molly had to feel stupid after trying to offer her 2 cents
lol. it's not the warrior's fault that they're good at basketball... it's not the warriors fault that kd went to them... and this is the first time you see kd in an actual TEAM. a team that is willing to PASS, not relying on hero ball every close moment, an actual team where your star players are unselfish. kd just wanted to play in that environment... if anything, the warriors should be praised because they showed the world how great of a player durant is and is capable of being. ppl salty just cause the warriors are so close to winning it all in commanding fashion.
Steven ain't lying I barely watch nba season basketball this year. I was waiting for the final we all know it was going to be cavs and gsw
But it's not like Clyde Drexler or Patrick Ewing came and joined the '95 Bulls.
yo shoutout to the graphic designer at espn for that pajama graphic
Don't argue the warriors didn't ruin it. You can't tell me you like it now c9mpared to if Durant were on the thunder and we don't know who will win. Could of been Cavs spurs thunder warriors and even the celtecs if they still make a bold move in free agency. Bit now whenever i think NBA, I think about my team the heat, and then I think can anyone beat this team????? Please????? Anyone?????? And to top it off I have to hear people say Durant is better than LeBron which is ridiculous.
Wadedashit wrong
Rmon O it's clearly not the same. There has been plenty of super teams in this era but the warriors are a level above that.
Rmon O Please stop.
@@DonaldZuramp23 just because your superteam underachieved doesn't mean the warriors are on another level.
@@kingrodney441 You're really gonna come say that after they have cousins? Just stop.
LeBron running through the East year after year ruins the NBA season as well.
willemdee he can join any team on the east and they will make the finals
Crazygood 2K Hell no that is a lie. He could not carry the nets, magic, 76ers etc. to the finals. Absolute nonsense.
willemdee a) The East is a weak-ass conference, b) at least there was always some drama in the West, and c) the Finals were never a done deal for LBJ's teams.
willemdee ur dumb ass fuck he is 3-5 dumbass
Stephen A is right. The lack of parity in the league is sickening. To have the same two teams meet in the championship series four years in a row, and to have the same winner three of those four years, is just awful TV. And unless you're a Golden State fan, what is there to be invested in?
I remember when LeBron went to Miami and stayed for a couple years. The NBA was predictable then you already knew the Heat we're winning championships. If people don't like we're the NBA is at right now then don't watch. It's simple.
This is why I will never watch Basketball seriously. No parity, too many games, always a superteam. I'll pass.
lebron been to 7 straight finals in the weak ass east but KD ruined the NBA LMAOOOOOO
Lebron earned 7 straight finals KD took the easy way
NFL and NBA are both suffering from a lack of competitiveness from the lower half (possibly lower 75%) of the league. None of the the teams that were consistently bad have yet to turn it around so the league has a new contender
