How can people say that Durant still doesn't deserve respect? He's only one of 6 players to average 30 in the finals. He also hit the go ahead 3 to put them up in game 3. They said he wasn't clutch, they said LBJ owns him, and they said he couldn't show up in big moments. Shhhhh. He and Westbrook clearly didn't have the chemistry. Durant knows he can't win playing selfish basketball. Now look at Westbrook. It's cringey how many shots he takes per game. All the overrated stats mean nothing. They have no team chemistry and it's obvious players don't feel confident in their game around Westbrook. Since they never get to touch the ball unless they're about to shoot. Look how many Warriors contributed to their success. They are committed to one another and are willing to sacrifice for the greater good. That is why they win. Kevin Durant ultimately showcased why he is not only one of the greatest scorers, but how efficient and unselfish he can be playing team basketball

LeBron and Cavs fans are learning that Basketball is a TEAM sport. Not an "individual" game. He did all he could but this isn't a one man or two man game. Golden State front office is smart. They drafted all their players and conditioned them to become all-stars. Durant was an great addition. But they play as a TEAM. Something LeBron fans must accept. LeBron got two rings working ALONGSIDE Dwyane Wade. Had a supportive cast. Cleveland's front office needs to smarten up. Stop picking up over the hill dinosaurs to play for you

Kevin Love performed poorly in the game five because of one Kyrie Irving. Kyrie Irving is a baller stopper. A Kyrie Irving led Cavs team would not win as many games as a Kevin Love led Cavs team. Kyrie is the type of player that would give Klay Thompson 9 or 10 shots a game if Kyrie were running the point for the Warriors. With that being said, Kevin Love is still a bum.

Do these guys even watch NBA games? How could so many people predict Cavs or Warriors in 7? I predicted Warriors in 5 based on what I saw during the regular season and early playoffs. Advanced metrics and stats only backed up my prediction but you don't need those stats to see Warriors were too good to beat.

It is not that LeBron "didn't do enough in the 4th quarter". It is that the Warriors did too much for the Cavaliers to overcome. Bayless keeps wanting one single player LeBron to rise and rise some more beyond human capabilities against a relentless tidal wave. It's weird how aggressive lebron played in the 4th quarter when he knew the game was already over, as opposed to how he played in the 4th quarter of game 3 when the game was very close. And i get it, it's a elimination game so you're trying to continue to fight. But for the last 7 min of the 4th quarter the warriors had a comfortable 12 pt lead and it was clear the game was over. And btw lebron's defense in those 7 min wasn't helping at all. But in those 7 min lebron was very aggressive and drove the ball to the paint every time. Where was this same aggressiveness in the 4th quarter of game 3?! And I don't wanna hear bout fatigue b/c he still played the whole game in this one but that slow him down in the 4th. The difference is in 4th quarter of game 5 the game was already over and he wanted to stuff the stat sheet, as opposed to game 3 (which was just as important as game 5) when things got close in the 4th quarter we didn't see this same aggressiveness. Cleveland shot lights out in game 4 and scored 137 pts by breaking all records. The warriors shot good, just a regular game and scored 129pts without a sweat. There's level to this, the WARRIORS are on another level, it's not even comparable nor fair.

I'll never understand how someone can praise Lebron for his championships and then go on to criticize KD for his decision to join GS. Their prior record, the fact that "they beat him last year" means absolutely nothing to me. Especially considering that their team was predominantly built through the draft. And if you're upset at Kevin, remember that he is the one who worked hard to be in a position to make that decision.
Cavs on the other hand have been the ones building most of their team through FA acquisitions. Lebron got the coach he wanted, and the players he wanted. Yet he gets a pass because he doesn't have "enough help." The hypocrisy of some NBA fans never ceases to amaze me.
The best scoring team ever, added arguably the greatest pure scorer of this generation... It's a wonder the Cav's even won a game.

I called it gsw in 5 before the playoffs. As the playoffs got under way i thought the cavs would really challenge the warriors. The cavs talent isnt that much different from the warriors talent yet they still got blown out easily in 5 games.

Honestly, can you be mad at LeBron for being tired? Will go down as the most minutes in NBA playoff history, most points, most assists, etc. He has to carry his team every night. Kyrie isn't consistent enough, Kevin Love is getting old and not hitting his shots. This is definitely not Lebrons fault, he did everything he could.

I'm a warriors fan but honestly what more could Labron do? He barely rests, he's their best scorer, defender and passer and he's going up against Durant and Curry on defence and then Green, Thompson and Iguodala on offence who are rested. He's one of the all time greats but he's not the terminator.

You can't blame Lebron at all for Cleveland losing. He gave it his all and then some. Their supporting cast just hasn't done enough. Darren Williams is useless, Kyle Korver is useless, Tristan Thompson for most of this series has been useless. You can't have that and beat a team like GS, no matter how great Lebron and Kyrie played. You can't possibly ask more from Lebron.

The Warriors have 3 of the top 10 greatest shooters of all time, who can also take it to the hole. They didn't need KD and if they would've won without him, it would've been more impressive. If KD would've beat the Warriors by staying with OKC, then beating Cleveland, it would've been more impressive, respected, and impractical to his greatness and legacy.
