Look I agree that you can't compare LeBron's move to KD's move. But dont pretend KD didnt carry the Thunder in his MVP season. The Warriors werent a superteam before KD. A good team? Absolutely. But they built their team through draft picks. They stole Steph at the #7 spot, they stole Klay Thompson at #11, and certainly stole Draymond at #35 in the draft. KD was sick of playing with Westbrook. LeBron was sick of playing with a bunch of scrubs. They both moved where they saw opportunity for the same goal: to win rings. Yeah, LeBron had a worse team before and KD joined a better team than LeBron did. But at the end of the day, they both left circumstances they were sick of to win rings. Thats the point here. Its not a KD/LeBron comparison. Its that its not such a terrible thing for players to go where they see opportunities.

Nobody was saying Steph was a better player than LeBron. We were saying he had a better single season than LeBron ever had, which is true. In fact, you can make the case that no MVP campaign was as great as Steph's in 2016 (though '88 MJ and '13 LeBron are close). He's the only guy who ever averaged 30 points on 50-40-90 shooting, no scratch that, 50-45-90 shooting. He led the league in scoring while playing only 32 minutes a game! He didnt even play in the fourth quarter most games! He was effective AND efficient. Most players are either volume or efficiency, Steph was both. So yeah, he was the better player for 2016. Bu nobody's putting him on the level of LeBron.

Tribe Of Juda Ok so im not saying KD isn't good, but, when lebron went to miami they were an under .500 team and lebron wade and bosh had the team built around them they were in no way overpowered because they lost the first year but wound up coming back to win 2 in a row. Again, when lebron left after losing his 4th year in miami to go to Cleveland, he again joined a team that was not so good also going under .500 that didn't even make the playoffs, and he made them a playoff team. The warriors not only won a chip the year before, but set the new best record in NBA history. What you people don't understand and will NEVER fully understand is, that move that KD made, the choice to go to Golden State, was a necessary move. Lebron's greatness ensured that. The fact of the matter is, Lebron is so great that it took a move like a KD to a Golden State team to be able to have the best chance to win the championship. Sure it made winning the west easier. There's no doubt about that. But when there is a team like a Cleveland Cavaliers on the other side with a Lebron, a Kyrie, a Kevin Love, and numerous other great players in that opposing locker room, it takes a great player like Kevin Durant and a Golden State team to beat Cleveland. A few possessions that went differently and the narrative could be very different. But Kevin Durant proved that his move to Golden State was necessary because of the talent he possesses and the skill set that he has. They don't win the finals without Kevin durant. And Golden State KNEW that, and Kevin Durant knew that. That's the truth, and there's nothing you can do about it.

Miami weren't the most powerful team in the NBA at the time, lebron went there and built up the team to get the 2 rings that is why it took a year for them to win. KD ran to the team that beat him, the hottest team in the NBA the former champs, and if draymond didn't get kicked off of last year would be a back to back championship team and took a shortcut to gold.

Kevin Durant has never been greater than LeBron James. Can he do some things better? Sure, but the reason he went to the Warriors is he can't beat LeBron. KD could have been in the weak east and he still wouldn't have made it to the Finals, because LeBron was there. It was the LeBron Conference vs the West because you have to get past LeBron to make it to the Finals. Had KD been on the Cavs, even if there was no LeBron, he was not making it to the Finals.
