- Here are my thoughts on the TCL C725. It's a 50-inch QDOT LED and I am using it not only as an entertainment system but also for my work.

You have mainly focused on the tv"s additional features, which are secondary to most of the users. A tv's main aspects to consider are picture quality, brightness and contrast, audio output, upscaling capabilities etc for which a tv is mainly looked at from a day to day basis. Chrome casting, hooking with a laptop, voice command - all these come later. Even a tv comes loaded with handful additional ornamental features without its basics actually loses traction among the viewers and the reviewers too for that matter.
I'll keep that in mind for coming reviews

How was it so far?
I love its performance but not like the other smart tv it cannot install another app nor have a google playstore, but when it comes to video resolution i can't say anything about its 101% high definition

I bought mine yesterday more or less spontaneously in the market and the seller said it was a good brand and a good TV but some people are not so convinced on the net and talk about stuttering and a bad picture and so on
In the video you can also see at least at the very beginning when UA-cam is running, it looks like there is a grid in front of the picture in some places. Is it like that in real life or just in the video?
I will only use my TV for gaming and to watch UA-cam or Netflix and I can see over one or the other stuttering in the menu but I am afraid that it will also stutter when gaming or watching videos

@@Danster575Good day. I already have this TV for gaming too and I don't have any troubles.tv automatically turn on gaming mode. Screen is Sharp and very beautiful (Elden Ring right now about 90 hours) .In normal tv picture you will need little alchemy with picture for example with Netflix and Dolby vision make screen little green but this is problem with setting.nothing more. Yes, android is little lazy Time to time but nothing serious..I thing that if Somebody is not happy with this TV. It is just because is hater ..(Sorry my English language is not perfect). Why în video on tv can be seen lines and mini boxes? It s from camera that focus very well and magnify or it s from tv image procesor?
Have TCL C725 50' but it is not connecting to sound bar via HDMI arc, is there any way to solve this?

Well, I have not tried any games on it; don't have PS5 yet. But the TV supports 60Hz @ 4K with MEMC (Artificial frames in between genuine frames) it goes to 120FPS so it should work just fine even with high refresh rate games.

In the 'Mission Impossible' clip you play there seems to be some kind of weave pattern intermittenly on the screen. It is also briefly there when you exit the film to UA-cam. What is that?
I guess that's because of camera recording the image is fine

Hi there! I have heard that the OS lags alot! Is this true? And also that google assistant bytton stops working? How has your experience been with this tv?
The OS isn't super quick but if you have a fast internet connection there won't be any problem. As far as Google Assistance is concerned it just works fine for the time being i have never experience any issue.
I saw C715 & it looked really good. Considering it’s a 2yr old model I had to look elsewhere. Could you tell us how’s the brightness of the tv during daytime & viewing angles are good or average.
I am not sure about C715, but you can cross-compare it with TCL 725. I Just did and couldn't a noticeable change except Speakers and Remote Control by comparing specs on paper.
As far as your query, it works just fine during daytime - I've tested it with direct sunlight. The viewing angles are good too wont be a problem

In your video, I noticed that, for example on UA-cam, at the very beginning when you tested the Dolby Atmos, that in a few places it looked like there was a grid in front of the picture
is it only in the video or also in real life?

I was also told in the shop that the tv is 120 Hz but the internet says 50-60 Hz
is it still suitable to play decently without jerks and stuff? Or to watch football because many then also report of players blurring and then also see that it is only 50-60 Hz
@@Danster575 Well it's definitely not a genuine 120Hz its MEMC tech takes it up to 120Hz which is like injecting artificial frames in-between. As far as the viewing experience for football is concerned I didn't face any problem while watching it
@@techwafercom So would you say that even without real 120hz there are no jerks or spoil the fun of watching or playing? In your opinion, is it definitely recommendable for the money, regardless of whether you watch TV with it or play games or stream it?
UA-cam doesnt support Atmos so there's no way you could get atmos from the tv that Way

Yes they do provide the wall mounts with it
does it play mkv files and work with 264 & 265 audio
Can you adjust the legs inwards or is that the only mounting point for them?
these are just mounting points and fixed without any movement
On my 55C725K it has two sets of mounting points for the legs. One set is nearer the outside edge of the screen and the other pair are closer to the centre of the screen.
Which type of panel is this?

Can the "Ding" sound when you navigate the OS be removed? 3:01 - 3:20

Hi, any chance you could do image sharing from the laptop without plugging the HDMI cable?
There is no sound setting just basic audio setting please tell about sound setting of this model

I wouldn't prefer it on all because I haven't tested all but it is a good choice

pessoal, uma dúvida, tenho uma c725 da tcl. Uso aa a luz de fundo mais aia pra ajudar a longevidade do produto (45). Queria saber se vocês utilizam pra jogo a tv, e se utilizam do hdr do console, abrindo mão desse pensamento, já que o q mais se ve dizer na internet é pra abaixar a luz de fundo, devido a pouco tempo de vida das tvs atuais.

Do you have a fix or experience with youtube so slow changing videos/loading? It’s looks like a youtube app/settings issue because when i load netflix change movies it is fast

I bought TCL 10 days ago around 39k 55 Inch display is good sound decent side Angel no good because va panel delivery instalation is very fast

I have the 43c725. I purchased it recently.
I have noticed a red ghosting line on skins and when people move fast. Why is that? I have tested on all possible ways with quality and everything. Always the same.
Do u think I should send it back ?

Nothing of such sort appears on normal panel maybe its damaged during shipping or something else call their support and if they can't help you fix you should get a replacement unit

It mostly appears when the scenes are little darker. Not bright on bright scenes. It’s like for some milliseconds the red shadow follows. And I cannot unsee it :)
I thought maybe it could have to do with the refresh rate? And since it’s a budget tv maybe. But it’s a qled!

I have bought it and picture in football matches is getting cropped. Can you tell something about that? It's hard to watch :/
To test it I need to know the software or platform you're watching on like UA-cam or Apple TV?

I can check the software later but I think is the newest. It has Google TV.
About the platform it's UA-cam. You can play any shortcut of football match in 4k/50. On my TV image is cropped on any match.
In same shortcuts on my second TV Samsung form 2018 image is clear and smooth.
I have tried many settings and image in sport was smooth for a while. Later its getting back to be cropped :/
@@emem841 press the setting button on remote then click on picture afterwards goto Screen Settings and make sure that
Auto format is enabled
Screen mode is 16:9
Overscan is disabled
Hopefully issue will be resolved. I've testing few clips its playing fine
I have this TV. Audio Sync issues after 2 weeks of use on streaming apps. Picture dimming. Replaced components by TCL tech. Audio sync issues on and off since then until live TV started showing the same symptoms settings have to be adjust for latency each time. Also clock on apps page has a missing digit from time to time. TCL support not bothered. Waiting for the next bout of faults.

@@navneshp4311 buddy, if you're really into gaming, I'd recommend getting the TCL C735 55" Model because it has VRR and ALLM. It is the best overall pick if you're going to buy one now. During the holiday season, you may be able to find discounts in your local store or even online.

Its great in budget for watching seasons and stuff like that but if youre planning on playing games its missing 120fps so keep that inimd while youre making purchasing decision
Picture quality of this tv is better than samsung crystal uhd led ?
for what its worth Samsung QLED better display for sure but you also pay at least 30% extra for that and TBH difference is nominal. Comparing this with UHD Panels of Samsung TCLC 725 is clear winner

There are few areas where TCL C725 performs better;
1. It has Direct LED instead of Edge LED in Q60A, and Direct LED is always better
2. Better OS
3. Better Contrast Ratio.
You can cross-compare specs to find more differences, but these are key factors to consider.

you're right these are exactly 30CM because my table's depth is 12inches and it fits on edges

The TV Display is fine perfectly. I'd love to elaborate if you can point out where exactly you spotted that? If it is at 4:17, maybe camera exposure shifted or something like that nothing wrong with display.
DOSE THIS TV SUPPORT 120HZ AT 1080P WITH MEMC MODE ?
cuze i have ps5 and i want both 4k 60hz for movie or tv shows or sport and 1080p 120hz when i want to play shoter games
1080p will look terrible on a big TV now. Wouldn't bother. PC's are for high refresh rate. Monitors just can't do that well yet. Will be years before they can properly get near PC in that respect.
TCL C735 Promises to provide 120FPS at 4K. however, I haven't get my hands on it yet.

It doesn't have built-in webcam but it supports external webcam can be connected with input ports at the back and the TV doesn't come with a webcam.

WiFi connection very good
I bought this last Sept 2021 not recommended. When we binge to watch motor vlogs or serenade every 7 mins it will turn off and we always do factory reset because we can't watch UA-cam. What a waste of money and hassle.

Man, I've had the C725 for about 8 months now and in general its ok, but the interface lag is so annoying and system slowdown. I wouldnt recommend it

plug in hdd with big files, play 4k mkv files and it will turn into shit, laggy , slow, and your interface will lag, same as on other tcl models, wouldn't recommend to anyone
