The lighting is probably my favorite micro. Most toothpicks are too light. They hit the air resistance and stop, falling almost immediately after the throttle is cut. This little guy follows a ballistic arc through the air, much like a 5", when thrown over a wire, a branch, or just turning for a dive. It rips for 3 to 4 minutes and the tune is on point.
I originally built one with rcinpower 1003 14000kv with beta fpv 20a aio and walksnail 1s lite. On It's maiden the aio fc burst into flames and burned the carbon frame, this was definitely carbon, you can see the weave but the replacements I bought were more like the material you described here and not finished quite as nicely.
I saw this little guy on Aliexpress a few months back and thought it looked pretty cool. It really reminds me of the Diatone GT-Marauder 515, but much smaller. Now I'm curious what the bottom plate is made out of. Interesting.
Heavy is an asset. Toothpicks fall out of the sky when thrown, like a feather or a leaf. The weight makes it possible to throw the drone, and it follows a ballistic style arc through the air.
Yeah, all the BNF companies copy eachother. But to be honest, pretty sure that this YMZFPV micro was out a few months earlier than the Draknight. Love HGLRC quads tho, have quite a few of some oldies but goodies from them. Both HGLRC and YMZFOV definitely got inspiration for this frame from the Diatone GT-Maurader 515 from 2017, these are basically a tiny version of that.

Awesome flying and review, Pawel! 😃
Those little quads are a lot of fun!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
I feel Cybertruck vibes ... and we all saw how they perform :-D
He he he, good one
How's the flight characteristics compared to a similarly specced toothpick?

I have build this drone myself and put HDzero in it. Same motors. But got some shaking and propwash etc. Could you share your tune?
Spi? It says serial uart on betaflight
Could it be carbon fiber with paint finish?
It's not paint, I tried to scratch that and still got no connection
Possibly carbon fibre reinforced, injection moulded plastic of some sort. Chopped fibre rather than woven.
Brekke Valley
They make the Eagle 1 that has a digital VTX.
Yeah, I seen that, it's a different model
A bit heavy in 2in. But much more durable, I bet, than a toothpick.

Wow that's a carbon copy of the HGLRC Draknight
