- Simple but awesome recording of Peter Frampton performing his classic hit live at the Gibson VIP event during NAMM 2019. In addition to this performance (which included Nancy Wilson, Robbie Krieger, Billy Gibbons, Black Pistol Fire, Emily Wolf and more) Frampton was honored with the Les Paul Innovation Award.

All I can say is,the rockers that have aged as I have I'll always buy a ticket. If they want to go out on a grueling tour the least I can do is buy a ticket and support these classic rockers that have paved the way for these young guns.

Bought my first Frampton Album in 1976, still listening today. My wife who had never heard of him, hums this song as she does her work around the home.

I’ve been a fan of Peter since the early 70’s and he’s one of my biggest influences on my own playing. I must say his playing just keeps getting better. Right on Peter.
He was amazing and seemed like he was really having fun which is refreshing.
Frampton still got it.... Got to see him live many years ago in Montreal...awesome musician... one of the greats !!

Been a Frampton fan since the 70's. I get a kick out of the videos. Check out his live concerts in the 70's, not a single cell phone in the air (yes I know they didn't exist thank GOD). Put the phones down, enjoy the talent on the stage. THAT'S called a memory. Do you feel like we do?

Peter, what came can I say, you are the man. Fell in love with you when i was I was a freshman. You rocked, it was like nothing I’d ever heard before and it wasn’t. Love your music just as much as i did then. Still sound amazing.

Im Young compared to all the Peter fans I’ve seen ,20, my dad had a cd of Frampton comes alive and it was my favorite as a kid. Peter is so good and can still rock in 2019!

I saw him a few times in the 70s, and started listening to him in the Humble Pie era.
His tone is far better now than it was then.
I’ve been to several of the Gibson jams, but had a schedule conflict with this one.

Peter's Les Paul is the sexiest guitar ever.
Yes it is and considering how it was thought lost in a plane crash in 1980 in Venezuela and then 31 and a half years later after finding out it still exists and 2 years of negotiations was reunited with it just in time for the Frampton Comes Alive 35 tour in 2012 was just awesome. A customs officer and guitar luthier in Venezuela recognized the guitar and made it his mission to get it back to Mr Frampton and hand delivered it himself. Donald Balintina is his name. Thank you Donald. As soon as he got it back he went straight to Gibson and had it checked out repairing only what was necessary to make it playable while touching nothing else because he wanted it to retain all of it's battle scars.
