So your telling me that Yoko Shimomura made Into the Final, the final boss theme of Logan's favorite Mario and Luigi game? Well then you were right to say that she is a goddess.
I would have unsubscribed if she hadn't made it onto the list, but I still would have disliked the list had her works on the Mario & Luigi series gone unmentioned. And also considering the fact that she also made the music for Xenoblade Chronicles, she deserved nothing lower than the place she got. As someone who only believes in one true God, I can't truly call her a goddess, but I have no issues calling her an Angel of Music. Long may her talent reign. [If she ever leads the soundtrack for a game in the Tales of RPG series; my wallet will die within a month of the US release of that game (or within a month of being given valid proof that she already has).]
+The Green Dragon 53 Shimimura only did like 4 tracks on Xenoblade. Granted, they were some of the best 4 tracks in the game, but she didn't do ALL of the music.
Motoi Sakuraba, Yasunori Mitsuda, and Yuka Tsujiyoko would definitely rank high for me. However, I think my favorite might have to be the duo of Hirokazu Ando and Jun Ishikawa from the Kirby games. Their work has been top notch ever since Kirby started 25 years ago. :)
Maybe not above independent composers (since they don't have to associate their music with something they were commissioned to do, so they're at their fullest potential) but I still value video game composers above film composers, since I think there's many video game tracks that are more memorable over any of Hans Zimmer's scores honestly, and I hope they don't go down the path of video game OST's becoming like film OST's. (John Williams is great but I do think Super Mario Bros's "World 1-1" sticks better than Star Wars's "The Force Theme")
That is true, but the fact that he has also made songs separate from the games and remixed others, I think it is fair to at least count him as a composer, especially because almost, if not all of the music from the Touhou series, including spinoffs, was composed by him.
aneonfoxtribute yep. Though I'm surprised hideki nogomuma (can't spell) got so high on the honorable mention. From what I know, he's only a few games soundtrack
While I don't agree with the order entirely, I do like a lot of them that made it! A few personal favorites of mine include Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill, a few Suda51 games), Keiichi Okabe (whose soundtrack for NieR was almost too good for the game), and Dai Satou (Resident Evil Revelations)
Wait, the composer of OKAMI worked on Fire Emblem: Awakening and Fates?! Holy shit, that man is skilled. I love those soundtracks to death. Though Okami is my personal favorite of his works, because The Sun Rises. Also, Shoji Meguro is awesome. I really love his jazzy style.
Tanner Zuzga I can. Sonic, like it or hate it, is known for great music. We don't count Sonic Chronicles. I'm pretty sure we could have removed that number 9 guy to make room. Or at least put Tee Lopez instead
Hey QG, you ever thought about doing a list theme's around JoJo's bizarre adventure, I figured it'd be great for you to talk about the series (be it just the anime if you need) as a good change of pace, concidering you use music from the series in your videos.
What an awesome list man! I honestly agree with you almost across the board! David Wise is truly THE MAN when it comes to Donkey Kong Country (and those classic NES Rare games we love) and I too love the Persona music for its originality. The only omission that did bother me was Yasunori Mitsuda because his compositions are insanely good! Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears, the first Xenosaga game, that AMAZING ending theme to Xenoblade Chronicles...he definitely should have made the cut! Otherwise though, superb list my friend. You know your video game composers for sure! ;)
Yoko Shinomura is my favorite video game composer. Her music is beautiful, and perfectly captures the mood of any situation. And that Violin! Violin is my favorite instrument and Yoko Shinomura abuses it so often. Her best works are grand and epic but she can also create some incredible soft and gentle music (Dearly Beloved anyone?) and some excellent rock music (Ancient Highway) and upbeat and fun music (anything from the Mario and Luigi games that isn't the final boss). I cannot begin to name every piece of amazing music she has created. Just go listen to her work. Also if this was my persona list Jun Senoue would definitely be on there. The man is a mad genius and is one of the minds behind Crash 40. His work made it so that even in the less the stellar Sonic games the music still rocked.
well thank goodness that you put Jun Senoue on your Honorable Mentions, his Sonic music is fantastic, it's just sad that Crush 40 didn't make it on the list
I though you'd put Daisuke Ishiwatari higher, but I can respect the choice of honoring the legacy of video game composers. It's probably thanks to them that music composition is such an important aspect of video games as a whole.
Holy shit, awesome vid, I noticed that blazblue clip you used between me and my buddy, I've been noticed even if it's only brief!, Thank you quarter guy, Blazblue for the epic win man!
Yay! My favorites are here! Kaufman, Yamane, (PRAISE HER) Shimomura... Of course, Ishiwatari (should've mentioned MUST DIE though) I might start paying more attention to the composers more often. Also no Toby Fox? I'm no hardcore UnderTale Fan (quite opposite, actually), but you should see his work on HomeStuck, if you count webcomics. I might start listening to Uematsu Anyway great list Adam (Okami's soundtrack is hella LIT though)
Mr. Meguro's music is glorious to me. Whenever your fighting make it a roundabout for whatever fits the siduation. It's kinda like going to an ice cream shop. So many unique flavors other than the norm. And you want to try them all.
I might put Yoko Shimomura as my top choice. The songs she wrote in Xenoblade Chronicles 1 alone are some of my favorite, if not my favorite gaming songs of all time. The main theme and end credits song are true masterpieces.
A little surprised not to hear anything of Hitoshi Sakimoto. He was behind the music of basically any of the Ivalice Final Fantasy Games: 12, Tactics, Tactics Advanced and Tactics Advanced A2. He also had a strong hand in the Valkyria Chronicles franchise which offers a great mixture of military anthems and light hearted fair between the conflicts. Every time I marched into battle, his tunes provided a great boost in my morale. His work with Basiscape provided themes for games like Dragon's Crown, Odin's Sphere and Muramasa: The Demon Blade, all excellent and beautiful games in their own right. But for me personally his best work game from his work with the Ogre Battle/Tactics Ogre Franchise. The music of Let Us Cling Together and Person of Lordly Caliber stand among my personal favorites. All excellent work and quite worthy to stand among the greats. But, that's just my humble opinion. All the folks on this list are fantastic choices none the less.
Still get some Lunar tracks stuck in my head even when it's been a long time since revisiting. Still, there's so many great video game composers that belong on a top ten list that placing all of them, even including honorable mentions, is a tall order.
Unfortunately for this sort of list, she was going against a couple of titans. Shimomura did a lot, but she does come up somewhat short when compared with the man to bring Video Game Music to prominence and the guy who's created it's most famous theme.
I love how my top 3 and your top 3 are pretty much the same. Funny how that works. Also, no wonder I thought FE: Fates's soundtrack was so similar to Okami's: they were done by the same guy. I honestly did not know that, and I'm a pretty big music guy myself.
My absolute favourite is *daiki kasho* - he performs music for Gran Turismo AND he did music for F-Zero GX. Also, honourable mentions to Josh Mancell for his contribution to the original Crash Bandicoot series and Lorne Balfe for what he did to the first 5 Skylanders games.
Two composers that I would add to the list: Akira Yamaoka, and Yasunori Mitsuda. Yamaoka's known for the sublime, creepy, haunting music of the Silent Hill series and, less famously, the soundtracks of several Suda 51 games. Mitsuda (who worked with Nobuo Uematsu on Chrono Trigger and FFV) was responsible for the gorgeous soundtracks of Chrono Cross, Xenogears, and Xenosaga. He also composed the ending theme for Xenoblade Chronicles! Also, you left out my favorite soundtrack by Yoko Shimamura: Parasite Eve! Yes, she's known for dramatic, gorgeous pieces of sweeping melodies and playfully upbeat yet moody tunes, but Parasite Eve is not only haunting and powerful, but at times capable of sending chills down your spine (see: "Gloom and Doom.") The soundtrack interweaves operatic themes within several of the songs, and it is so different from her work on Kingdom Hearts, you might never guess they were created by the same person!
Shame that you didn't mention "Answer" for Uematsu. I appreciate the shout-out to "Don't Speak Her Name!", being a big FE fan, but "Answer" is such a poetic epic. The lyrics hold a shocking amount of depth.
Here are my absolute favorites: Saori Kobayashi is my all time favorite just for Panzer Dragoon Saga (Favorite soundtrack ever) and Panzer Dragoon Orta. Motoi Sakuraba because of his work on Shining the Holy Ark and Shining Force III, Tatsuyuki Maeda for Dragon Force and Skies of Arcadia. Kohei Tanaka is my second favorite just because of his excellent work on the Sakura Wars series.
Great list as usual. One thing I will say which I know is fanboyish. I am upset that Yuzo Coshiro didnt get a mention. Still great picks throughout the list :)
You can hear a lot of what would become Meguro's style for persona in the OST for Raidou Kuzunoha vs the Soulless Army. Game hasn't aged well but its soundtrack is still one of his best. He's my #1 tbh.
The lack of Christopher Tin hurts. Seriously, his piece "Baba Yetu" was *the first song from a video game to win a Grammy Award*. And then there's his song Sogno di Volare. Part of his genius in all his albums is that almost none of them feature English as a primary language. He used Swahili for Baba Yetu (It's the Lord's Prayer, but with significant structural changes to make it work as a song), Italian for Sogno di Volare (Lyrics taken from none other than Leonardo Da Vinci!) and one of his songs uses Proto-Indo-European; commonly believed to be the ancestor of Sanskrit, Latin and Greek.
My personal top 10 is: HM: Shota Kageyama, Minako Adachi, Go Ichinose, Junichi Masuda, Hideki Naganuma, Crush 40, Atsushi Kitajoh, Ryota Kozuka, Revo, Hirokazu Ando, Jun Ishikawa, Mick Gordon 10: Jake Kaufman 9: Yasunori Mitsuda 8: Yasunori Nishiki 7: Yoko Shimomura 6: Shoji Meguro 5: Nobuo Uematsu 4: Motoi Sakuraba 3: Yuzo Koshiro 2: Raito 1: The entirety of Falcom Sound Team JDK (including the contractors (the most notable contractors being Yukihiro Jindo and Mitsuo Singa (yes I like Singa)))
Keiichi Okabe for Tekken 7, Drakengard 3 and NieR Hitoshi Sakimoto for his work on SRPGs (Tactics Ogre, Valkyria Chronicles) and the Ivalice games (Inal Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics, Vagrant Story)
At first I was thinking, "You didn't put Nobuo Uematsu on the list yet?" Then the intro for Final Fantasy started playing and my reaction was, "OHHH FUCKING YES!!!!!"
The Grandia soundtrack alone would put Uematsu in at least 2nd on my list. (Below Koji Kondo, of course.) I honestly was not aware until now that he had done any other noteworthy soundtracks. Now he's definitely #1, at least on par with Kondo.
SiegeSquirrel 42 Uematsu didn't work on the Grandia soundtracks that was Noriyuki Iwadare who also composed for the Lunar series and the Langrisser series.
I'd say it's a solid list, but it's a little hard to tell if you were trying to make this out of personal preference or from an objective standard point. It kinda feels like both. Well as long as Daisuke Ishiwatari makes the top five I'm happy, that man truly understands what the soul of American Rock & Roll is.
Frank Klepacki is a composer for the Command and Conquer series, some other games from Westwood Studios (now ded) and more. He mostly made industrial metal
The Quarter Guy indeed. Frank Klepacki is my second favorite video game composer of all time behind the unsung god of video game compositions Tim Follin.
I'm a huge fan of Yuzo Koshihiro his big stuff was Streets of Rage and Revenge of Shinobi, those 2 soundtracks are just amazing but my favorite thing is when I'm working on a video and I download a song and his name is in the credits. Kid Icarus Uprising the IOS Layton game and the Pac-man theme in Smash bros. Also I think Jeremey Soule deserves praise for his work on the Elder Scrolls. seriously that Oblivion soundtrack makes me cry!!
Why no, I didn't make a Top Ten Least Favorite Robot Masters list in 2013 that borrowed heavily from ScrewAttack and included an Angry Joe reference that people took as an actual threat and that people STILL judge me for! Whatever gave you that idea??
I see...so you're not making a do-over of a list that was actually pretty good even despite all that stuff but nevertheless I'm still hyped for? Also, yeah, why DIDN'T we get Mega Man & Bass in Legacy Collection 2. I'm pretty sure they even reference it in Mega Man 9's ending...I think they do anyway
While I understand why no Martin O'Donnell (Halo, Bungie in general), it was not even mention Lost Odyssey that kinda let me somewhat down (also made by no.1).
Man I'm a little shocked there was no Yasunori (Rat-tat-tat-tat, it's) Matsuda. I mean with his great work on Chrono Trigger and Cross, Xenogears and Xenosaga 1, Not to mention the killer Boss Battle 1 from KI:U and the ending song for Xenoblade (And just finished his work on Xeonblade 2 WOOT) But still this was a great list and some killer choices.
+The Green Dragon 53 Shimimura only did like 4 tracks on Xenoblade. Granted, they were some of the best 4 tracks in the game, but she didn't do ALL of the music.
Scott Schiff this list needed Keiichi Okabe composer of nier automata, nier and drakengard 3
Who's Logan? Do you mean Wolverine? Wolverine is a gamer... God damn...
Jonathan BarSela no I meant Fawful's minion. Logan is the real name of host of this channel.
I'm SEVERELY disappointed you didn't even mention Yasunori Mitsuda. That man's work on Chrono Trigger ad Chrono Cross ALONE make him legendary!
I'd put Michiko Naruke (Wild Arms) on my list, but the franchise is so obscure, even for a JRPG, I can see why nobody puts her.
Nobuo Uematsu is a legend above all, no one matches him in the world of videogame music!
i would argue that shimamura and soken get pretty close.
9:07
This one frame is so wrong on so many levels...
Violet I actually went back and watched that.
Then I started laughing uncontrollably.
I'm good now.
Need that as a still.
Video Game composers have more talent than most modern pop artists
Yep, pretty much goes without saying
Maybe not above independent composers (since they don't have to associate their music with something they were commissioned to do, so they're at their fullest potential) but I still value video game composers above film composers, since I think there's many video game tracks that are more memorable over any of Hans Zimmer's scores honestly, and I hope they don't go down the path of video game OST's becoming like film OST's. (John Williams is great but I do think Super Mario Bros's "World 1-1" sticks better than Star Wars's "The Force Theme")
I say video game composers have more talent than pretty much anyone who isn't into Progressive Rock/Metal. Or Iron Maiden.
I really love the works of Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Crono Cross, Xenogears), and Takeharu Ishimoto (The World End with You, Dissidia). :)
I'm a little sad you didn't include ZUN, but all these are good choices so I'm ok.
That is true, but the fact that he has also made songs separate from the games and remixed others, I think it is fair to at least count him as a composer, especially because almost, if not all of the music from the Touhou series, including spinoffs, was composed by him.
TARDISES by that logic, pixel isn't a composer either
Awesome list QG-Senpai!!
BTW, nice use of the "You'll never see it coming" meme! Actually made me LOL!
ah Video Game Music Composer...my dream job, and I owe it all to #'s 8,2, & 1 of this list...good god thank you three!
Yeah, Yoko Shimomura was inevitable.
aneonfoxtribute what can we say? She's a "Dearly Beloved" composer ^^
+Elise Arainai Fun Fact: "Dearly Beloved" is her favorite track that she's composed.
The Quarter Guy oh hi QG! :)
no kidding? Guess I shouldn't be surprised; it's a simple song, but a beautiful one that has never left my head. ^^
aneonfoxtribute yep. Though I'm surprised hideki nogomuma (can't spell) got so high on the honorable mention. From what I know, he's only a few games soundtrack
aneonfoxtribute and Uemastsu was number 1. Yeahhhhh!
Let's not forget that Uematsu also composed the theme to Smash Bros. Brawl
Of course he did
While I don't agree with the order entirely, I do like a lot of them that made it! A few personal favorites of mine include Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill, a few Suda51 games), Keiichi Okabe (whose soundtrack for NieR was almost too good for the game), and Dai Satou (Resident Evil Revelations)

Holy shit, that man is skilled. I love those soundtracks to death. Though Okami is my personal favorite of his works, because The Sun Rises.
Also, Shoji Meguro is awesome. I really love his jazzy style.
But seriously, no sonic composers? That's just sad
Or monster hunter ones either
JJ Slider at least the sonic composer is in the honorable mentions so I can't be THAT mad. :)
Tanner Zuzga I can. Sonic, like it or hate it, is known for great music. We don't count Sonic Chronicles. I'm pretty sure we could have removed that number 9 guy to make room. Or at least put Tee Lopez instead
I though it was Dimes...I'll just leave now.
JJ Slider Dude, this isn't your list.
Good list. I can add Akira Yamaoka for honorable mention for his incredible works on "Silent Hill".
Hey QG, you ever thought about doing a list theme's around JoJo's bizarre adventure, I figured it'd be great for you to talk about the series (be it just the anime if you need) as a good change of pace, concidering you use music from the series in your videos.

You know your video game composers for sure! ;)
Also, Nobuo Uematsu did the Super Smash Bros Brawl Main Theme, one of the greatest musics ever made ^^
I think that Olivier Deriviere deserves much more love.
The man behind Alone in the Dark, Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry and Remember Me.
Yoko Shinomura is my favorite video game composer. Her music is beautiful, and perfectly captures the mood of any situation. And that Violin! Violin is my favorite instrument and Yoko Shinomura abuses it so often. Her best works are grand and epic but she can also create some incredible soft and gentle music (Dearly Beloved anyone?) and some excellent rock music (Ancient Highway) and upbeat and fun music (anything from the Mario and Luigi games that isn't the final boss). well thank goodness that you put Jun Senoue on your Honorable Mentions, his Sonic music is fantastic, it's just sad that Crush 40 didn't make it on the list
That's true and some of them on the comments are talking about Crush 40 not being on the list
QG, you should make a Top 10 Favorite Games list sometime! Just a suggestion 😄
Hoped to see Mick Gordon here. His doom and KI sountracks are awesome.
Also Matoi Sakuraba for working on DS xD
Yay! My favorites are here!
Kaufman, Yamane,
(PRAISE HER) Shimomura...
Of course, Ishiwatari (should've mentioned MUST DIE though)
I might start paying more attention to the composers more often.
Also no Toby Fox? I'm no hardcore UnderTale Fan (quite opposite, actually), but you should see his work on HomeStuck, if you count webcomics.
I might start listening to Uematsu
Anyway great list Adam
(Okami's soundtrack is hella LIT though)
Mr. Meguro's music is glorious to me. Whenever your fighting make it a roundabout for whatever fits the siduation. It's kinda like going to an ice cream shop. So many unique flavors other than the norm. And you want to try them all.
I was kinda wanting (mostly wishing) for you to mention Takeharu Ishimoto.
But that was the TWEWY fan in me.
Shoji Meguro is one of my favorites, than again I'm a huge fan of the STM games.
Kudos for including Jake Kaufman here ^^
Also kudos for mentioning Trauma Center
I might put Yoko Shimomura as my top choice. The songs she wrote in Xenoblade Chronicles 1 alone are some of my favorite, if not my favorite gaming songs of all time. The main theme and end credits song are true masterpieces.
Shout out to shoji meguro for being the greatest musician ever.
My favorite is Noriyuki Iwadare, mainly because of his work on the Phoenix Wright series.
Clay Ayers His work on the Grandia and Lunar series are also amazing
Still get some Lunar tracks stuck in my head even when it's been a long time since revisiting. Still, there's so many great video game composers that belong on a top ten list that placing all of them, even including honorable mentions, is a tall order.
Also, no SNK composers? I can't really think of any particular names right now, but I really love practically all of KOF's OSTs.
yeah. Yoko Shimomura. I would've put her at #1, personally, because of Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy XV, where her talent really shines.
I'm genuinely suprised Motoi Sakuraba wasn't on here. The Composer of Baten Kaitos and the Dark Souls games is one of the big ones as well
My absolute favourite is *daiki kasho* - he performs music for Gran Turismo AND he did music for F-Zero GX.
Also, honourable mentions to Josh Mancell for his contribution to the original Crash Bandicoot series and Lorne Balfe for what he did to the first 5 Skylanders games.
I have been watching your videos for years and i never knew you used to work in the video game industri
Was kind of hoping to see Mick Gordon, but I'm fine with the list as is
Two composers that I would add to the list: Akira Yamaoka, and Yasunori Mitsuda. The soundtrack interweaves operatic themes within several of the songs, and it is so different from her work on Kingdom Hearts, you might never guess they were created by the same person!
Shame that you didn't mention "Answer" for Uematsu. I appreciate the shout-out to "Don't Speak Her Name!", being a big FE fan, but "Answer" is such a poetic epic. The lyrics hold a shocking amount of depth.
9:04 I died laughing at this point
Sir Quarter Guy, you have made my entire weekend XD
No Yasunori Mitsuda? He should be number 2. Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears, these need more attention!
Here are my absolute favorites:
Saori Kobayashi is my all time favorite just for Panzer Dragoon Saga (Favorite soundtrack ever) and Panzer Dragoon Orta.
Motoi Sakuraba because of his work on Shining the Holy Ark and Shining Force III, Tatsuyuki Maeda for Dragon Force and Skies of Arcadia. Kohei Tanaka is my second favorite just because of his excellent work on the Sakura Wars series.
One of my favorite composers is Tomohito Nishiura, for his work on the Dark Cloud 2 soundtrack.
Calling it now before watching, Nobuo "God Among Men" Uematsu is in the top 3, possibly #1 place.
What developer team does heavy metal concerts?
Rockstar.
*raises glass to Koji Kondo"
also thanks for mentioning Grant Kirkhope
The lack of Christopher Tin hurts. Seriously, his piece "Baba Yetu" was *the first song from a video game to win a Grammy Award*. And then there's his song Sogno di Volare. Part of his genius in all his albums is that almost none of them feature English as a primary language. Can't argue with you on any of these, QG. Still wish Hitoshi Sakimoto got more love, though.
Marty O'Donnell? Have you even heard Remembrance? He made the Mr. Clean jingle and the Flintstone kids vitamins jingle?
Yoko Shimomura, Nobuo Uematsu (Don't go forgetting Lost Odyssey.), and Motoi Sakuraba. All I need.
My personal top 10 is:
HM: Shota Kageyama, Minako Adachi, Go Ichinose, Junichi Masuda, Hideki Naganuma, Crush 40, Atsushi Kitajoh, Ryota Kozuka, Revo, Hirokazu Ando, Jun Ishikawa, Mick Gordon
10: Jake Kaufman
9: Yasunori Mitsuda
8: Yasunori Nishiki
7: Yoko Shimomura
6: Shoji Meguro
5: Nobuo Uematsu
4: Motoi Sakuraba
3: Yuzo Koshiro
2: Raito
1: The entirety of Falcom Sound Team JDK (including the contractors (the most notable contractors being Yukihiro Jindo and Mitsuo Singa (yes I like Singa)))
Dang, David Wise is my favorite composer of all time \:
Keiichi Okabe for Tekken 7, Drakengard 3 and NieR
Hitoshi Sakimoto for his work on SRPGs (Tactics Ogre, Valkyria Chronicles) and the Ivalice games (Inal Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics, Vagrant Story)
At first I was thinking, "You didn't put Nobuo Uematsu on the list yet?" Then the intro for Final Fantasy started playing and my reaction was, "OHHH FUCKING YES!!!!!"
Would have liked to see Matt Uelmen get a mention. The Diablo 1 and 2 soundtracks are among my favorites.
I got an idea! How about times you fought yourself in Video games? Clones or past versions basically
*sees persona*
HEART BEAT INTENSIFIES
3:52 BLASTER MASTER FOR THE WIN! YESSSSSSS!!! I freaking love the NES game! (Also, the NES game had quite possibly the catchiest song ever!)
Honestly surprised mick gordon isn't on here, considering your liking of killer instinct
Everyone's asking where Toby Fox is and here I am wondering where Jamie "Rules of Nature" Christopherson is
QG! How bout this next countdown
*top 10 least favorite monster Hunter monsters
*top 10 4th gen monster hunter monsters
looks like Quarter guy is doing a remake for the next countdown, i wonder what changes will happen
So, no Christopher Tin or Frank Klepacki? Damn, son. Hurts.
...WHO???
Frank Klepacki is a composer for the Command and Conquer series, some other games from Westwood Studios (now ded) and more. He mostly made industrial metal
The Quarter Guy indeed. Frank Klepacki is my second favorite video game composer of all time behind the unsung god of video game compositions Tim Follin.
TARDISES Oh, I didn't realize that he hadn't done anything else, the stuff I had heard was so good, I thought he was mostly video games.
I'm also a little sad to not have seen Junichi Masuda
Were you adjusting the mic during Koji's section of the countdown?
I have no complaints, I usually agree with your lists.
wouldn't that be another top ten least favorite robot masters
Is there a reason why you didn't put Toby Fox on here?
I swear as soon as I heard StickerBrush Symphony I started to tear up.
I loved your video! I knew almost all the composers. I still believe you are pretty handsome. :)
Nobuo Uematsu Is my favourite Video Game Composer by far!
Ohey, the Quarter Guy Headbang Session came back.
Oh, so you really _are_ re-doing Top Ten Least Favorite Masters. Huh.
Motoï Sakuraba (almost every Tri-Ace games, every Tales of and Dark Souls) and Keiichi Okabe (Nier and Nier Automata) should be worth mentionning to.
4:15 I could've seen this coming from light years away.
Yuzo Koshiro is the best of the best. The Streets of Rage 2 OST is something no one can ever forget.
No. 1, 2, and 3 are the Holy Trinity of VG music indeed. It would be a crime for simply not mentioning them.
Blue Dragon got a mention! Thank you!
Keiichi Okabe (Nier & Drakengard 3) is my personal favorite, with Yasunori Mitsuda (Xenogears, etc.) as a second.
of course nobuo uematsu is no. 1 the man is a legend. I've never been moved by video game music as much as his work
3. Queen of RPG sound tracks
Um...didn't you already do a Top Ten Least Favorite Robot Masters?
Also, HELL YES, #1!
Yoko Shimomura is my fave because of the Mario and Luigi games.
wait, Zelda concerts exist
+Conner Heise Look up Symphony of the Goddesses.
ok thanks, good vid by the way
What Yuki Kajiura didn't make It! She's legendary when it comes to her music.
9:05 You just couldn't resist, now could you?
You forgot the honorable "Rocking the most awesome moustache of any japanese dude" award... =p
I think Uematsu also composed Final Destination from Brawl
Go Shiina, the composer for a number of songs in the Ace Combat, should have been mentioned!
Speaking of Radiant Historia, PERFECT CHRONOLOGY FTW!!!!
