Spirituality really ends up being more of a disciplinary practice. A lot of times when it comes to religion, or whatever belief system, it’s about conduct and commitment to that conduct. Semen Retention, and the use of sexual energy to attract and create, is a practice that requires commitment. We learn and we grow in it like any walk of life.
Excellent video! When I done 3months monk mode in 2019 while just starting my SR journey, I had a spiritual awakening truly amazing as someone who had drug addiction I couldn’t believe we could feel pure ecstasy and bliss naturally and the energy we have untapped potential inside of us. 🙌

Thank you for these videos. Very helpful and inspiring. I want to say i practiced SR without properly channeling the energy and experienced exactly what you said where the energy built up and started to make me feel really sick. Thankfully I found a friend that told me about the microcosmic orbit. I went to mantak chia class, started taking qi gong classes, stomach massages etc. and within 1 day of doing my first qi gong class I started to get back to normal. What you are saying in this video is extremely important and unfortunately it’s not mentioned often in other SR videos.
That's great brother, it's unfortunate that this isn't more common knowledge.
Most SR-practices in the West are connected to repression if you ask me due to the Christian faith. I am doing it for two months now and most people indeed do not openly speak about these practices.

I came across two books this week that put things in perspective regarding ejaculation. Nervous Vitality and Virile Powers of Superb Manhood. It has changed the way I look at Semen Retention. And how unwise it is to waste your life force.
I read a bit through the Nervous Vitality book. I will be honest and say that it is not a very modern because it draws quite dramatic conclusions from almost no evidence.

I have always been interested in what you’ve said about neutral chi. its also interesting to note what you’re saying that neutral chi has often been described as the path to enlightenment or unconditional love. The buddha would talk about following the middle path which seems like a way to describe the neutral chi that you are talking about. Also, Rudolf Steiner mentions that the path to psychic development is found not in extremes of positive and negative emotions but maintaining a neutral state emotionally.
Sometimes when I am in a busy public space, I like to let go of my thoughts and judgements and just observe my surroundings neutrally. I find that when I observe the world neutrally, it becomes easier to feel others emotions and sense things beyond me.
We're programmed to be in strong polarity so finding a neutral point. It's all over the classic spiritual teachings, but often misunderstood or lost in arcane terminology.

I don't work much with the chakra model personally. When I do my qigong practice the energy centers naturally open and become balanced without having to micromanage them.
Hello Jonathan. Thank you for what you are teaching here. 🙏🏻 I reach out to say that you are a perfect candidate for the "Path of Initiation." Because many things you say here, are already mentioned and in fact guided (by the soul) further into increasing each of these capacities. Including feeling, seeing, holistic seeing, action, bravery, being moral, acting in a service of humanity, etc. It has several exercises, of connecting and opening up to your higher soul-senses. Within you in a very tangible way and immediately-comprehensible way.

another interesting thing you mention. moving the energy from the dantian to the pineal. in some occult circles they talk about something known as the ‘sacred secretion’. the sacred secretion is the secretion of the pineal gland. it’s how man connects with the divine. Heaven and earth. It’s sometimes called finding the ‘holy grail’.
In one video I watched, one teacher was saying that the sacred secretion happens only when you develop the 3 main energy centers in order, First the dantian, which moves up to the heart center, and from the heart center moves up into the third eye center.
the energy body moves in a toroidal motion. We can experience the sacred secretion by transmuting the energy from the dantian and move it up the higher centers. but in order to do that we have to purify our sexual center first. the will moves up.

Yes, I think there's many ways in which it can actually be accomplished, but taoist alchemy works from the bottom up.

Hey Jonathan I just want to say thank you, you motivated me to do Qigong.
I've been doing it for a few months now, I do the 8 brocades then 30 min of zhan zhuang almost everyday, so it's roughly 45min of work (I've read The Way of energy too). It's very simple yet effective.
But I still can't orgasm without ejaculating, does it help for that?
Qigong helps to sensitize your mind/body connection and open up that channels required to circulate sexual energy. But transitioning out of the familiar stress and tension pathway of arousal and into a relaxation response (full body orgasm) is a process.

I would argue that what some people consider to be "spirits" and "the spiritual world" to often simply be the low astral plane, connecting with this isn't much different than being in the physical world. The rabbit hole goes much deeper than this.

It’s actually possible to obtain more jing. It doesn’t have to be a finite thing. How you do it is controversial but it can absolutely be done. I’ve done it. And I don’t think it’s true that psychedelics use up your jing. Hard drugs definitely do. It’s normal to feel wiped and tired the day after a psychedelic. I am a seasoned psychedelic taker and I feel like I grow in energy and spiritual power long term with every psychedelic I take. Psychedelics are not for everyone and for some people not taking them can also be a powerful spiritual path. Psychedelics can make the sex drive stronger long term. When you know how to integrate it properly it can be very nourishing and strengthening.

It can help, but you have to keep pelvic floor relaxed and keep breathing deeply.

As a last question, is the initial transfer of energy not done? to activate it? Is this energy within each person or does the teacher have to transmit it or is it there and the teacher has to activate it? Or we have it all and we just need to open the way to receive energy and use it with focus. And can it be activated anywhere and everywhere without the need of a teacher?
