Abstract flow very different style. Dumbed down and complex with an interesting rhyme patterns. Sometimes it worked incredibly especially early in his career and might have missed the mark in some people's opinions.
I wish he kept his old flow on his newer projects it's the only flow he sounds good on, if u've heard his newer songs u know what I mean
Nice to see Nore in a less-inebriated state lol. Talib really got him to dig deeper in his intelligence here. Something I’ve always known Nore encompasses, but he loves to always dumb himself down on, especially after just a few drinks. These two and Questlove Supreme are my top go-to podcasts. So we can easily say that this has been a long time comin!

1998 was my favorite year in hip hop as a 10 year old! Please understand Noreaga was a big part of that year in my Walkman we officially got introduced to Pharrell and at the time we still didn’t know if Pharrell would go on to be so great cause the moment was soooo good!!!

I'm from trenton nj (eastside) when i say "the war report" set the tone for the whole 97' summer i mean 97' and beyond. It captured the era unlike no other album at that time
It ran that summer -- and put a lot of people on to how to pronounce Poughkeepsie

I am a 47 year old sista from the Bronx. I had the biggest crush on N.O.R.E. Even though he spoke a lot about getting head in the whip,Lmao…..i loved his eyebrows and thought he was too cute,his voice, and he was too freaking funny with his rhymes.😂 Sometimes and I love my life….sentimental. Phone time,(the Chinese store skit😂),Blood Money 3, Straight Like That, Queens,(featuring complexions),Queen's Finest, Grimey, body in the Trunk, Banned from t.v. 97- 2001…. N.O.R.E. has always been entertaining. He has grown & matured a lot over the years. I've enjoyed all of Capone-N-Noreaga's albums and Drink Champs is one of if not my favorite podcast show.
I lived in Atlanta when War Report came out and I promise you we was on that shit when it first dropped. Facts! Atlanta at that time especially was baby New York.
UNITY IS BEAUTIFUL
Prodigy's verse might not have been on the official release of LA, LA, but it was on Doo Wop's or Tony Touch's mixtape at the time, so NY heard it in real time.
He also used it on Nas' "Live Nigga Rap"...
I don't really follow podcasts, but I never miss an episode of People's Party, so I was shocked when Talib said that Math Hoffa and Joe Budden do better numbers. They seem to lean heavy into sensationalism while Talib (and Jasmine) focus on quality control (pun intended).

"put a bogie out in ya face! now face laced like ashtray face, favorite gat on my waist!" and then honestly, the mention of vanilla ice..i think at this point in hiphop, we need the vanilla ice story, on here or drink champs...his story is actually important to hiphop.
