Damn I'm a 51 year OG from Newark NJ, raised on all the Boroughs of New York at some time in my life , I hustled everything in the streets, and grew up hard, but when Game a spoke of feeling empathy for Meek Mill, I started to cry. It amazes me I never excepted crying growing up, but the older I get, the more life touches me. Thank you Game for being the type of man that is able to show feelings of empathy, I knew from the very beginning that you were gonna be considered as you of the best. You are honest, right or wrong, and that's character, and something the people want to see, so maybe we can someday imitated it.

I loved seeing "grown man Game" speak on "young man Game." I couldn't help but think what grown men Biggie and Pac would've been about. I also appreciate how he was able to articulate just how ahead of his time Nip was. Talib, please keep it coming. If you haven't already, I'd love to see you get Black Thought, Andre 3000 or Jay Electronica on here. They, like you, are well read and about spreading positive views on my fellow black men. Peace

Thank God for Talib Kweli. I've been listening to Hip Hop for 40 years and the evolution from it inception to now blows my mind. Talibs skills as an interviewer and ability to articulate his position as one of the best MCs ever is unreal. Been bumpin Game since his early Aftermath buzz, with that JT/Get Low album. The G-Unot lil era was crazy too, those mixtapes were just piling up. We seen him perform at the How The West Was Won Concert in October, he puts on a good show. Great interview to see how much he has grown and kept it 100 with himself throughout the whole time. Epic interview, Kweli does it again.
thats because talib is a great interviewer , he has alot of rap history knowledge, knows how to segway his guest into interesting stories, and gives his guest time to tell the story.
This was fantastic. I've been a Game fan for nearly 16 years and this was one of his best interviews. I've always enjoyed how genuine Game has been in the way he speaks and moves. Thank Talib Kweli for having him on and letting him speak, something that's rare for an interviewers to see these days. The way he speaks about Kendrick Lamar shows how much of a impact Kendrick has made in hip hop. Strangely Kendrick Lamar's story and skill parallels Lupe Fiasco and a LOT of ways and Lupe doesn't get anywhere remotely close to the same adoration and shine. Either way thanks again Talib. I hope to see Lupe Fiasco on here one day.
