    This was a really good video man! I thoroughly enjoyed the way you spoke about the geckos with a mixture of love and appreciation towards the animals while staying really informative. I you want some feedback, honestly there is nothing i can say to put hate on your videos they are bloody good the camera is a beautiful must, the script (if there is one) is great! the audio is fantastic basically the entire thing is of a higher quality of most other reptile channels that i have found no disrespect to other channels at all. For the love of God you better keep putting the out takes at the end as they are a nice little touch.
    Keep up the good work!

      @@AKbar-xf6ge Just saw this comment, I used to work at an exotic themed petshop so i have been bitten by 100+ reptiles, including Iguanas, dragons, geckos and other large reptiles, honestly a crested gecko bite feels like getting a pair of tweezers and lightly pinching yourself, its nothing, they very rarely bite and half the time you don't even notice that they've bitten you! getting bitten by a fish is worse. Hope it helped!

      @@AKbar-xf6ge If you have a happy one it will never bite, its only the angry ones that bite, and its very rare to get an angry one XD and if you're working with children you wont be giving them angry ones anyway so you'll be fine! I used to do snake handling for young children usually aged 2-14 and i usually used the same snake every time because it was trustworthy! Just make sure to always handle them for a minute or so before giving it to a child just to see its mood as they can change due to travel and such ^^

I had one as a young teen and my father didn't research care for him, rough-handled him, and generally just followed whatever the petstore said (he was a rescue we got from a breeder but we got his enclosure and food from a pet store) and I was too young to know any better. I loved him so much and I want to make sure when I do purchase one again I know how to take care of it properly so it lives a long and happy life

    • @ClintsReptiles
      @ClintsReptiles  6 років тому +2

      If you ask most breeders, they will say that a vertically oriented 10 gallon (like the exo terra or zoomed 12x12x18) is sufficient for a crested gecko. Bigger is, undeniably, better. Many people who keep just a few prefer a 20 gallon high tank as a minimum size. If I were you I wouldn't ask "what is the least I can provide", but "what is the most I can provide". More to come on this when our video is released :)

    • @gregsmegkregtv1459
      @gregsmegkregtv1459 6 років тому +1

      Clint's Reptiles I'm confused, you said people who keep just a few prefer a 20 gallon. Does that mean people keep a few in a 20 gallon? And what size do you recommend for 1 adult? And thanks, also sorry for all the questions I get confused easily 😂

    • @ClintsReptiles
      @ClintsReptiles  6 років тому +1

      Good question. I mean they keep one gecko per 20 gallon. That can be hard to do if you have, say, 200 crested geckos. But if you have 6 it is not unreasonable. I would only recommend housing them together when breeding.

    Thank you for making this video. After watching some of your videos about crested geckos, I got a crested gecko a little less than a year ago (named Treeko after a Pokémon) and he is doing very well and I love him. It is awesome to see a great reptile lover like you. :)

      @@AKbar-xf6ge they don't usually bite people, but they might if they mistake you for food. Also, they have no teeth, so probably not bad

    LOVE crested geckos. I think in some ways they're actually a better starter reptile than bearded dragons - just sold a friend of mine on them who was looking for a cute reptile that wouldn't freak his wife out haha.

    I own a little crestie named Dio that I bought (on impulse) from my work (a petstore) and I turned another of my coworkers into a bit of a crestie addict. (He now has three) I absolutely adore Dio's little splats, and the fact he will lunge into his food dish and make little feet art all over his tank... Crested geckos in general are probably one of my favorites because they're so derpy and fairly easy to maintain. I always, always recommend them to people just starting with reptiles, and have referred to your crested gecko videos for care and other information. Thank you for all your hard work and all of the information.

    Hemophilia is the fear of blood is it not? (Was that the homework? To answer that question in the comments???)

    • @ClintsReptiles
      @ClintsReptiles  6 років тому +3

      That was the homework. You're half way there! Hemo refers to blood, but the fear of blood would be hemophobia, not hemophilia.

    • @starscreamapologist3003
      @starscreamapologist3003 5 років тому +4

      Aaly Montenegro hemophilia is when your blood doesn’t clot. So if you cut yourself, it won’t stop bleeding.
