I just finished a 3300 sq metal roof took 6 hours it hadn't been cleaned in 4 years 😢 it must be the xjet just don't have the staying power . You are the man I need to upgrade to your roof pump status.
I love my M5! I use my 3-7gpm for all my wand work, even cutting in concrete. Being able to fan out to wash 1.5 to 2 deck boards at once is time saving. I'm waiting for my 2-3 gpm M5 to arrive for a little more pressure at the tip.
Mike they make a remote shutoff and start system for the gas roof pump engine now, that way you can shut it down if you need to from behind the house or away from the trailer. Just stay on the gun, then shut it off if needed, then fire it back up when needed, its has saved me so much time on jobs when I use it, It will even work on your power washers, different module but same type.

Called my buddy for help and he’s just getting into the business and in 6 hours I washed 2 houses and all he did was a one side and turbo nozzled a set of steps 😂😂😂 he used like 4 gallons of bleach and didn’t even do the whole side right I was so confused

Rinse well first, with a mist. Then apply your SH. Do NOT spray towards the open end of the vinyl slats. Spray away from them. Rinse from a distance with a mist.

Downstreaming is plenty for any house I’ve ever washed. I hit it with 3% on this side simply because that’s what I was washing the deck with. All other sides got 1% or less.

Another great video. Got a question. I'm struggling with this. I've cleaned a couple bare wood decks. I've got a 5 and a half gallon machine. I pre treat with SH then use the white tip to clean. The deck looks great while cleaning but once it dries is looking white and chalky. Do you have any advice on how to fix this. This has happened on the last couple jobs I've done and I'm at a loss here on what I'm doing wrong. I'm gonna end up ruining someone's deck. If you have any advice I'd really appreciate it. In one hour of running the pump, you dump 600 gallons of drinking water on the ground. How many hours per week, then how many months, are you doing this? 18 hours a week is 75,600.00 gallons of drinking water. And that is only one person now, multiplied by how many others are running 10-gallon-a-minute pumps. I don't know what the other answer is, but that is a fucking shit load of resources used up. On the business side, it is very impressive and very cool and fast.

I often use a surface cleaner on composite deck. The problem here is, the deck was so far gone, I was afraid that the surface cleaner would leave obvious circles that I could never blend with a tip. So, nuke and M5 Twist it was!
Why is it every house I see on UA-cam has a very small overhang or no overhang at all and they’re all soffits.? Where I’m from almost every house has open rafter tails with 2x6 or 2x8 facias that you have get the back of . And every house is loaded with wasp and bee nests that take power to knock down. That light wash you’re doing would not be affective at all. Power washing is way more effective. Are these houses ready for painting after you’re done…it sure doesn’t seem like it.

Is there any way to figure out what percent you’re pushing out with an x-jet. I fill I 5 gallon bucket with 50-50 sh and water. I’m washing a trex deck tomorrow and I do not want to mess it up. I have a 3.5-4 gpm machine that says 3000-4000 psi
@@prestonroberts4645 Yes. I think I’m right about this. Fill the bucket with water only. Do a draw test. Then cut that # in half. That should give you a fairly close ratio. Forgive me if I’m not thinking accurately. Regardless, you’re not going to mess up a Trex deck with SH. Just don’t let it dry before rinsing.

Sodium Metasilicate is a much bettter product for wood cleaning than SH. Same process.

I washed the house with bleach using a downstream injector. Probably 1% or less.

@@wellsmd1 2% isn’t too much… it’s just unnecessary. It’s a waste of chem… and a risk to the plant life. 1% is almost always enough.
