You're a very likeable presenter, but if I may add a helpful comment -- this review is light on substantive arguments and data.

I have my eye on this combo at my local Bi Mart (Pacific Northwest). $36.99. Looking to add braided line and use for crab snare and rock fiishing. Thanks for the great review.

I found the rod today $10.00 off ($10.00 off all Okuma rods) the $36.99 price. Mines Medium action w/10-30 lbs. It's a Okuma Tundra TU - 802 - 60. Not sure if it's the same rod, but can't wait to catch my first Oregon coast perch or rock fish. Even hooking up a crab snare while using my crab pot 🎣 fish'on!!!

I appreciate this video to help me make up my mind about this combo. Do you think the 7ft one you had would be strong enough for some 30 pound sharks? If not, what do you think the max weight it withstand for the medium 7 footer?

Thanks! I would feel comfortable with it fir that weight class, but it would definitely put it through its paces! 😊😊😊

Their warehouse was totally out of all combos. It’s tough to find most any of them right now. 😟

The TU is a decent reel, but definitely not high end. 👍

I have the regular tundra had a few years. Decent rod but heavy ui wonder if this model is lighter.

I'll see if I can find some weight specs to compare.
