Came here to psychoanalyze the crowd at the future hole site to see how many of the cast were present. After watching it over a few times, I'm left wondering how many of the crowd tried to follow him into the hole, lol, especially the cultists. I wonder how many actually did. 🤣 I don't think the destination time periods necessarily follow any particular rules, so anyone could end up anywhere regardless of when they jump in that thing or who they're trying to follow. One quick note: They messed with that hole and the mystery black material so many times in so many ways, and so many bad things happened, that future may no longer exist or there may be a whole array of possible futures and that may be just one.
I thought it was interesting that only being around the black dust was necessary to time travel and not having to go into the hole -as seen with the cop at the ending
