- Outer Range is a great new sci-fi mystery show on Prime Video. It stars Josh Brolin as rancher Royal Abbott, who finds a mysterious void on his land. After the discovery, a bunch of other people start popping up out of nowhere to challenge Royal. I split my breakdown of Episodes 1 and 2 into 2 videos, and I'll post the second soon. My main theory so far: Pet Cemetery, like the void/hole is a conduit between the cosmos and Earth, and those who come back through it are changed. That's all I got so far.

Great question. It seems kind of random, but also not. Lol. Royal goes right to the future when the countdown clock hit zero...so that doesn't seem random. But there is also a lot that seems chaotic.
You noticed some thing I didn't. Great recap! You think autumn could be the granddaughter having fallen in the hole and can't remember her past.

When Royal first stuck his hand into the hole he saw the immediate future but he also had a quick flash of two young boys, one with blonde hair and the other with black hair. Any idea who they were Middle Man?
Honestly i think the two boys he saw from the past were Royal and Wayne

It makes sense to combine the “Chroni” - also how I was taught. Cronus’ parents were similar to God’s first few days according to the Bible, god of Heaven and goddess of Earth. That gives understanding the creation of everything (present day’s big band) in the minds of historical people… one of their kids is the god of time… another thing that historic peoples needed to wrap their head around.

Love Dark. I did a bunch of videos on Dark when I first started the channel. This show does have a lot of that, and I'm loving it
In my opinion, mixing multiverses with paradoxes made Dark convoluted.

There's a Hot Ones interview wish Josh Brolin that got me curious to watch this show. Josh is into old science fiction writers from his youth, and he says this show is all that old "supernatural" stuff he loves. This likely means, we could be on the edge of some stuff that may defy science. Think "Outer Limits" and "Twilight Zone" territory. Regardless, I hope we get at least a few answers to keep viewers from what I'm starting to call "WTF exhaustion," in which we get all questions with no answers. I'll be sad if this devolves into that. Also, as a side note, not sure if this is some kind of makeup effect, but I really wanna brush the hippie girl's teeth. Her gums look red like she needs a dentist.

@@clairedavis5268 Yeah, JJ Abrams and LOST, taught me important life lessons on how to rage quit a show and stop giving it "one more chance," LOL! They'll never explain. LOST is an especially exhausting one because JJ Abrams (and Rian Johnson) did the EXACT SAME THING to Star Wars!! WTF, JJ, just WTF!?! (Example: Who are the Knights of Ren? Where are the Knights of Ren? Why even are the Knights of Ren? They never tried to answer any of those questions throughout 3 whole movies!) Exhausting.

Glad you're doing this show. Moonknight is wearing me down with its insufferable Disney cheese. I wonder if the reason Autumn has so much money because she comes from the future and there 6 million means less to her. I also caught that Cronos = time thing. Cronos and Chronology aren't from the same root word so that was annoying. Liked your break down. Oh, and as always, I loved the ex wife spin. Definitely didn't have that on my bingo card.
