Even though the sneakers might be terrible now, you can still find plenty of clothing gems if you have the time to look. Just this year alone I’ve bought a Premium Levi’s Trucker Jacket for $30, and some $165 Japanese Denim Levi’s for $17.
Actually, I don't care what kind of content you do, because I think you're incredibly good and authentic. Everything is evolving and so are you. The sneaker history videos are for people who really want to know their way around sneakers and that makes the difference between the sneaker enthusiast and the sneaker head, at least in my opinion. Just do what you enjoy and stay as authentic as you are...i love Nachoaveragefinds 💯🔥❤️
Glad to see you guys back at Ross and Burlington. Can’t believe how crummy the selection is since you guys started the series, but hopefully you guys can do some thrift/vintage vlogs if the dept stores are gonna be dead. Keep up the good work, OGs!
Great video bro, I used to go sneaker hunting when I was leaving at PHX, it's a shame what Ross has become LOL. I would like to see more videos like this one, PACE!
WOO! Glad to see a finds video again. I’d like to see them more often but as you said with it being harder to find sneakers it’s alright if they’re just a once in a while thing
I initially subscribed to your channel because of the sneaker history videos, but I eventually went through your old videos and watched some of your Ross sneaker hunting videos. As you have shown in this video, the pickings are very slim compared to the past. This is most likely due to the horrible economy/supply chain issues and possibly due to more and more resellers going through these discount stores. I did enjoy the older Ross videos, but don't force yourself to do these types of videos if the pickings are still slim. I think you should pivot to a thrifting/flea market sneaker hunting series instead. I feel like thrift stores, vintage stores, and flea markets would have wayyy better pickings.
100% agree with you! We just wanted it to do it for our OG subscribers who’ve been requesting one of these videos. The main focus will still be sneaker history. Maybe we’ll stayer a Patreon and post more Vlog thrift style videos on there. Always appreciate your thoughtful comments Dylan! ✌️✌️
I stopped going to Burlingtons altogether recently. For the time being at least. Mine are always packed with people and the lines to pay wrap around the store almost daily. It's not worth it especially with the weak shoe/clothing selection. Marshalls are still pretty decent but the lines to pay also wrap around the store. This whole year has been insane. I've resorted to Ebay and poshmark mercari to find deals or vintage clothes.
I just saw a video where some Ross stores are getting self check out, which is pretty cool. But yeah it’s always a mess in there but I love that aspect about it lol the Lines do suck though
I miss these and I also love your history vids. Nothing beats the thrill of finding gold in those stores. Hopefully things get better. I haven't had a solid find in a while.
Recently. Ive been looking at GRs instead of what everyone is talking about the week. The last pick ups i got were some emerald green puma suede, NB 550 white/red, adidas EQT support 93 OG, and puma wild rider. NGL these last pick ups are in heavy rotation. Dont over look some GRs
Yesss glad to see both you guys doing the Ross treasure hunts again, Don't get me wrong I love the direction the channel took but these hunt videos are what made me a fan good to see you guys bring it back regardless of slim picking
Real talk chief you a real one for that last video segment, you don’t even have to apologize for a goddamn these videos are a breath of fresh air and entertaining af. Bless up family
9:53 we had these at the new balance store I was working at last year I always called them the Easter Eggs 574 idky it gave me that vibe😂 not my favorite NB silhouette but they were popular and they eventually did sell out.
As a viewer this gives a better perspective of the personalities you all have. Both videos work. Waiting on the history of the 14’s. Maybe one on the 21’s eventually?
I appreciate you going along for the ride despite not having one of these stores in your country. Shout out to all the homies in UK! Thanks for watching Jay!
I just came across your page today and was lowkey shocked by how many things y’all were able to find in Ross (in your other vids). Then I was like “why can’t I find good shoes there?” and thought I was just bad at searching. this vid answered that for me, it’s insane how fashion gets affected by economics (common sense probably but I didn’t think about that lmao). Great video!
Good to see the hunts again. I can say around my area it's so dry on inventory at any of the discount chains. I can say however for a good minute outlets were a great place to find discounted kicks but now they are also affected by supply chain issues. Sad times.
Really liked this style of the video. Missed the Ross finds. Too bad that you did not find something, but was entertaining. Can't wait for the gazelle video

Yooo - been waiting for this! I’ve noticed the same thing though - those discount footwear stores are stocking some ugly stuff atm. That’s why I started buying used stuff instead. Picked up a pair of Fila Spitfires for $15 the other day - hard to beat that
i miss these kind of videos but i understand it's not the same as a few years ago, and even if you don't find any sneaker gem i'll watch it anyways. great vid as always 🔥
I really enjoy your videos, I used to love getting my sneakers from Ross and Burlington but I've noticed lately that they just haven't had nothing good in a few okay things that they did have we're just overpriced. It's pretty cool seeing this video cuz I was wondering what happened.
True brother. I found a pretty sick Nike down there that retailed nearly 4 hundo for 80 bucks recently so that'd some stoked stuff haha. Love the content as always yall.
Yeah it's getting tougher and tougher thanks to all the resellers eating everything up as soon as they open. Of course the supply chain thing affects it too. Thanks for watching Brandon! Congrats on the come up
Yo that sh_t was mad funny. More of those types of videos would be legit. You’re absolutely right about the 574 though. A definite staple. Ellesse was one of the go to sneakers back in the day. It was a good video. I liked the stuff on the supply chain issues and everything. I don’t know if it’s something to try and do more of, but this was I think a very smartly done video. The real question is did Bryan pick up that coat?
When I saw the title of your video, I said to myself, that's so very true. Ross and Burlington as well as Marshalls aren't the same no more. Especially with the supply chain being slowed down and a lot of them big box manufacturers like Nike, Under Armor, Adidas, and so many others are likely not going to have a surplus of merchandise to send to stores like this in the near future. My best bet possibly is that the actual outlet factory stores will probably be the first ones to get stuff like this like Ross, Burlington and Marshalls used to get. I can see stores like the three I just named possibly fallen in sales starring in 2022 unfortunately.
Oh this takes me back. Honestly the only luck I had with these store is with Jackets and tee's. I still do not as much as though. I got this Cloumbia puffer that looks straight from the 90s and this Tommy Jeans tee at Ross
We have only Burlingtons, TJ’s and Marshals where I’m at, not familiar with Ross. But I always looks for nice looking sneakers between size 13-15 at these spots.
Great video, sad it ain’t like it used to be... Although i did find some Air Span II’s in the OG blue colorway last year its been completely dry since then... I love Plato's closet they got some heat here. Some af1 maybe a stray pair of Yeezy now and then. I found my jacket for this fall there. Mafia style straight leather jacket 25 bucks.
Plato's is def an upgrade but you gotta be careful with fakes there
I don't know I watch the girl there at this particular one I'm sure they're not all the same but she was checking stitching and all sorts of stuff when I sold a pair... Had a black light all that stuff it was just a pair of mids but still
I found a pair of Shawn Kemp Kamikaze II at a Burlington up here in philly for $60. I too have been shopping at Burlington, Ross and Marshall's but the quality of shoes have definitely declined
Used 2 be the spot
@@NachoAverageFinds it used to be but the shoe racks just suck lol
Employees go through all the new inventory on delivery days and that's a big reason why it has become slim pickings at these stores
