dude, that's how fashion was in the 80's. Also, as a performer, you don't dress like common folks do, so
it's all a part of the act, because they don't walk around like that in their private lives.
I grew up in the 80's , so i loved the style, but i always hated how people looked in the 70's, because fashion and design never looked so bad as that in decade, but what can you expect from designers who did to much drugs in their school days in the 60's?
