Great video! But can you do a gaming test with these earphone and check if there is any noticeable latency? I have played games with my wired earphones till now and now i am thinking to switch
The best earbuds for gaming 2024 use a usb dongle and cost more than regular earbuds. But people don't really like them. Wired earbuds are still the best for mobile gaming. My suggestion is you need to buy a pair and try them out and see if they are low latency. If not, return and buy a different brand.
Thanks for the great review, i picked up a set of these last week. They are my first set of ear buds. I was a bit worried they would not stay in my ears , but they fit perfect. I have always had problems with earphones staying in my ears, like the earphones that come with the iPods, they always fall out. But these JBL 130NC stay nice n firm, a big thumbs up from me. Also great quality & awesome sound they have. I recommend.
I like your practical and to the point style. There's lots of other more in depth technical reviews. Advice to anyone getting these, make sure to update their firmware in the JBL App (yes they are supported) and configure them as you like for EQ, touch controls etc. Dump the App after that if you want but I find it useful. Lots of people have fitment issues as they're large and outside heavy plus have ridiculous included eartips which push them way out even more. I use spinfit tips for much better fit. Lastly, there's a newer version called just 'JBL Tune Buds'
Thanks man for the video, i already purchased it online and waited for it to arrive, your review will help me a lot to understand more about this earbuds. 🤗
@@AtHomewithLucas awesome review. I got these yesterday after watching your video. Yes as you mentioned, just 2 cons (1. fit and 2. multi device connect). My requirement is to watch Netflix and listen music and podcast on Spotify while sitting on my couch or desk. So no issues with the above mentioned cons. Apart from these, rest features are great. Hope the battery last for the hrs they advertised. Thanks again Lucas.
That's great to hear. Just remember to download the JBL app for optimal use. One thing I know about JBL is that they usually have excellent battery life. 👍😁
@@AtHomewithLucas I see you are like me, collect head phones, I wanted to upgrade but the Gemini 2 which are much better are expensive, I can get a good deal on the Bose earbuds I just wonder if it’s worth the expense and if they are better then the Jbl tune
@JamesBond-gg4wg yes they are better than the JBL. Jbl earbuds aren't the best at noise canceling, nor do they have the best sound quality. Noise canceling 6.9/10 Sound quality 7.5/10
even i got confused about how to get them in. I also got confused on which is left and right and which one go in which slot. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Also I'm not sure if this is a glitch or a problem but they do seem to stop playing music for a second then they start playing like normal like nothing happpened.
I reset it on the JBL app, removed it from my IPhone bluetooth and then put it back on but still the same. Don’t know what to do next. I called JBL but they charge me for tech support.
So the way noise canceling works is that the earbuds are pre loaded with sounds to cancel out. So if your environment is full of sounds not loaded on the earbuds, then there is nothing the earbuds can do. Voices are the hardest to cancel, and airplane noise is the easiest.
Greetings, and thanks for the review. Can these buds be controlled using an app.? I go around in town and clear trash people litter, and should declare myself king of it. I hame many times found empty budscases, but yesterday on a little parkinglot, I found both these, and different one with one of the buds ruined. It's turned out these JBL's charge, and I soon see if they work. I have many times turned found goods in to police, including two wallets whos owners the police found. Considering the facts that anyone can claim to own the buds after having seen me post yet another posting about having turned something in to the police, and that they are likely thrown away on purpose, I doubt if I should turn them in. At least I can try them, to see if they are anything for me before doing so, as I have never used anything but large headphones. Today I again found yet another budscase close to my home, but I found only one of the buds thus far. Maybe next thing I find is the treasurechest at the end of a rainbow. What's perhaps your take on this? Do people really throw them away? Best of regards from me Dane
Hey, that's awesome man keep up the good work. Most people just lose earbuds. They fall out of pockets really easy or just get left behind. I think you are right about keeping them. The only thing I'd say is if you post them as found, ask to see purchase info. That would help them get back to the rightful owner. No, they don't work with the JBL app.
@@AtHomewithLucas Strange. I have them connected to a JBL-app. now, and it does affect them. I just hoped the audio to be on par with headphones somehow, but, alas no. Maybe quality having gone poor is why they were abandoned. When you claim audio is good, do you mean in terms of objectively speaking, or in terms of being good considering they are earbuds? If firstmentioned, then I am puzzled how anyone can be happy with so little. I am using them now, and they are large in my ears. Maybe I can use them while clearing trash for listening to audiobooks, should that become my thing. Considering I have no usermanual, can I use tapping for adjusting volume? Also, since I am new to using buds, should I here keep you posted about my experience for a while? Perhaps my perspective may interest you. I wonder if buds can be fixed firmly in place well enough for people doing martial arts. Mayhaps you have any statements from others about that?

I got this earbuds because of your review and i am a bit dissapointed, the right earbuds is way more quieter than the left 😩
That is not good. Might be defective. Have you tried un-pairing and repairing?
Did you compare it with the Bose quite comfort ultra earbuds?
Nope, but I just bought a pair! Full review coming soon. 💯😁

How i can fix my noise cancelation stop working they are brand new?
What device are you using with the buds?

Try un-pairing then pairing again. Also look at the manual to see if you turned off NC somehow.

Thanks
The left earbud is too low than the right side, any suggestions? Thanks

Noise cancellation not that good you have to turn the volume almost all the way up for it to work
