How the heck is it legal to fire someone for being related to a killer? That's so ridiculous
Who's the "ki!ler"...? 🧐
Allegedly killer
Wasn't one sister in the psychiatrist field? I think being related to a man accused of mass murder could cause issues with her employer.
Are you related to a killer?
Missed work.
His siblings were fired due to being related to him? That’s pretty messed up especially since they didn’t choose to be related to him and had no decision or part in his actions
They should sue for wrongful termination.
What actions. ?

"Alleged aunt" if you cant confirm she's actually family, why would you run the story?
They say “alleged” shooter when there’s a video of someone shooting a person…. Don’t read too much into the alleged thing, it was his aunt and he did it.

Everything is "alleged" now. Sigh.
@@Dream_suburb You fell off allege there.
The source was cited: the US Sun, which presumably confirmed the aunt's identity, as their article outright says she's his aunt. Law & Crime is just being cautious because it can't independently verify the identity of an anonymous source.

So his two sisters were fired because of their brother alleged actions.. that sounds like a lawsuit to me.
Yeah. One was a therapist and they may have said “people will not feel comfortable with you as a therapist” or something. Still seems like a lawsuit. If both were recent hires to where they worked though, the companies could have used that. The therapist thing though might be “You are a therapist and you missed this?” though as he has not been convicted yet, that still seems like a lawsuit to me.
This case has been one of the biggest in the media for nearly a year and Law&Crime is still mispronouncing a victim’s name? Come on. There’s zero excuse for such EASILY avoidable disrespect of a victim and their family
The spelling in this report is shocking, and who cares about anonymous Aunt, whats she's got to say is pure speculation like most channels giving lots of hot air, and if's and if his sister's got fired from their jobs because the cops decided to Target BK for this Crime, that's not BK''s fault, and its illegal to fire them they're not involved
Seriously. They also didn’t live in an “apartment off campus” like… we all know it’s a house at this point.
@@ruthcarter1360 This case shows how far people have gone to insert themselves into a case where the defendant hasn't even had his day in court. It's so disturbing that these people think the same thing wouldn't happen to them, to have their lives scrutinized across SM in the blink of an eye, like the boyfriends of two of the Idaho murder victims who had their lives turned upside down by people who accused them of committing the murders.
And too many of these court & crime networks are exploiting these murders like the former FBI criminologist Jennifer Coffindaffer who partakes in the discussions and announces how much "FUN" it is to be part of the discussions. (I'm sure she's not volunteering her two-cents worth, either)! Well, some people are having too much fun turning murder into entertainment and same goes for podcaster "Surviving the Survivor" who opened up his discussions into the murders by blurting out "LET'S HAVE SOME FUN!".
I wonder how he'd like someone he invited onto his podcast to discuss the Holocaust (which his channel's title references in honor of his mother who survived the Holocaust) blurted out "LET'S HAVE SOME FUN, DISCUSSING THE HOLOCAUST!" Don't these people have a moral compass?
Hey deyton. Nobody cares.
The article states she hasn't seen or talked to Bryan or his family in 5 years. If she cared so much she'd talk to them not sell a story to a tabloid.
Maybe she's distanced herself for good reasons
Unsure of the laws around workplace discrimination in the US, but if those sisters were fired solely because of their relationship with an alleged criminal, this would most definitely fall under the Anti Discrimination Act in Australia and those women would be protected from losing their jobs. I’m sure the US would have similar legislation.
Lol
LMFAO at "US would have similar legislation" Bro you are talking about two completely opposite poles of the globe, Just stop XD

About firing people who work as at will employees. I had a coworker who's brother murdered one of his two wives, all three lived together. He had same last name and people repeatedly asked about it. Was he polygamus, like his brother? Was he evolved with the murder as his brother took her to Araona to hide the crime? My coworker went to court and legally changed both his first and last name. He transferred to another branch where no one knew him. A few year later I transferred to that branch as it's close to my home. He warned me never call him by his old name there. 10 years in the new office I never did. No one there knows his prior name but me.
Crazy.

@@showbread9366 what the fk? So if he is proven guilty, you'd think it was OK for them to be fired? You're a psycho.

Something like this was out before. Around the time the sisters were let go from their jobs.
@michaelpower4372
One sister calls herself an actress, after only one (really bad horror) movie to her resume and no prospects.
How do you get fired from a job that you don't even have?
Law & Crime should not promote hearsay! Once a case is in the hands of the DA all allegations and "stories" should stop. This man is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Exactly. The whole facts are still not out there.

1:47 - I will never understand how the news makes this a 'dramatic' point. Almost 90% of people growing up will dabble in some sort of drug/medication that is not prescribed to them. I've had tons of friends who drank, popped pills daily, put things up their nose, etc. all while maintaining their jobs (surprisingly). If this was such a huge issue that correlates to a psychopath, we would have way more serial killers in our country and most of the people I knew growing up would be half of them.
Not I or the gang I hung with.

It's legal in at will employment states. Google it. We have absolutely terrible laws when it comes to worker protections in the US. It's shameful.

Every time I see the picture of the four victims, it breaks my heart. All of them had barely begun to live their adult lives when they were ruthlessly murdered. Hopefully, the prosecution has more than the DNA on the knife sheath and the cell phone records that show him near their house multiple times. These four students need justice, however inadequate it may seem.
Dna and phone records is all they have. Not guilty.
That can't be legal that his sister's were fired for supporting BK.

Always weird to me when family members that aren’t close, neighbors, family friends come forward giving their views. Seems to me they are just seeking attention as for many of them we don’t even know if they truly know the supposed killer.
That’s really messed up about the sisters being terminated. But, I guess I could understand it if they feel it would be a safety concern.

I do not think his sisters should’ve been fired because of their brother! They took, “I am my brother’s keeper,” a bit too far.
About the sisters being fired...i think that'd be illegal. Most likely, the work places searched for & found some other reason, probably a ridiculous one, to terminate them. That way, they could say that's not why they were fired.
Obviously it was not stated because your random brother’s on trial for a random spree murder . If they told HR their business, which is always a bad idea, and asked for too much leave then that’s just HR being HR. They don’t personally care about the reason , they only care about bodies ironically.
