My mom used to use Pyrex bowls to make me and my sister Barbie cakes back in the 70’s. These cakes have been around so long which is so cool

Bring back so many memories of when my kids were little, I made one very similar for my young son's girl friend for her birthday about 30 years ago! Looks lovely. Mine was a special doll for cakes with no legs and I covered it with fondant

I’ve made a few barbie cakes in my time. The doll cake (not a barbie but essentially the same thing) my mum made me as a kid had her hand burnt off by the candles because mum had had a few beverages when she put the candles in at the party 😂 I’ve also made a pool cake for a pool party with a Cindy? (The little toddler barbie) swimming in it.
I love everything about this 😂💖 We've all been there at kids parties when the drinks are flowing 😂
