Used to really love these guys in their earlier albums, not a huge fan of their newer sound. However I'm so happy to see their success, they're all incredibly humble, generous people and I will always root for them
Sounds like someone hasn't grown-up yet, ngl i love their old stuff, but not everyone is slayer, pumping out the same shit over and over, and quite alot of thier new stuff is equally good, but you know humans get old, so obviously music will change
@@LEANNxARI Suggestion. Liliac- The Last in Line (Ronnie James Dio Cancer Fund Tribute). Liliac is a 5-piece family band ages 13-22. @@LEANNxARI Something I think would help the channel get an Equalizer for the browser you use. Just like a stereo it allows you to change sound levels for certain types of music. So it has pre sets for rock rap and just about any kind of music you will listen to. Quick google chrome extension that will make music sound so much better.
@@LEANNxARI the 2 x guitarists have played in wheelchairs too due to broken bones in ankle/leg. They are extreme sports adrenaulin junkies. They surf heaps too. I think its surfing injuries. ,
Parkway Drive is amazing live. I have yet to see a bad show from them. They're already great but they fed of the crowd and vice versa. Always a hell of a time.
Wacken Open Air is an amazing festival, attended by araound 80 K people from all over the world, at this particular concert where around 50 to 55 K people watching, and they smashed it! I am so fckn proud I've been one of them. Best concert for me in now almost 10 years of traveling to the Wacken Open Air
They actually had 2 Documentary's at this time (huge fan, were my favorite band back then and probably are still but August Burns Red is very close). 1st one was more about the band itself, second one is following them around on a world tour. I loved them both, they are chill dudes for sure.
Man I 've watched both, but probably watched the first one like 10 times throughout the years (been following these guys since 2006). The part where they get picked up by Epitaph is just incredible.
Great reaction ladies, so glad to see you guys back. Bad ass song an band. I’m missing live shows . Thank you for not singing anymore of Hungry Eyes. That song was all over the radio when Dirty Dancing came out . Lol
@@LEANNxARI Samuel Cristea- Lead guitarist for the band Liliac also nailed Kirk Hammett's (Metallica) solos in their Enter Sandman and Master of Puppets covers if you want to check those out.
Ik I’m real late but you probably heard of parkway drive because post hard and metalcore were REALLY thriving in the mainstream between 2008 and 2015 and parkway drive were really popular around that time. Another good Aussie band is The Amity Affliction.
They’re a great band live. Very high energy. I also think Jia (the bassist) had a surfing incident and was temporarily in a wheel chair, if I’m not mistaken. 😀
He decided to play in a minor league soccer game back in Australia a few weeks before the show. There’s a pretty cool documentary about the road to this show on UA-cam somewhere.
Cool tidbit, the original album version of this song features a chorus of voices singing along to the intro riff just like the crowd started to do immediately in this live video!
They were a controversial act at some of these festivals on this tour as they are a Metalcore band and for a lot of metal traditionalists should never have been allowed as a headliner act. I think the crowd would suggest differently though and that is part of the glee you see written all over the lead singers face.
Oh my gosh you guys need to react to so much new music that's come out the past couple weeks. Invent, Animate - The Sun Sleeps Lorna Shore - To The Hellfire Lorna Shore - And I Return To Nothingness Darko US - Dragon Chaser Ice Nine Kills - Assault & Batteries and maybe Convictions - Wreckage, that came out 4 months ago but its A BANGER
Yeah if you watch the documentary you'll realise how down to earth they really are. They set their own bar to the meaning of the phrase, down-to-earth.
Please react to Lovebites, the phenomenal all female heavy metal band from Japan. They sing in English and have two of the best guitarists in the business. If you do, the Wolfpack of fans will overwhelm your channel. Do their song Set the World on Fire.

@@AlexSolomon91 I hope you see the irony in your comment and let it sink in for a while.
@@Joseph-R yeah the irony was already there, British sarcasm was alredy there, I guess
Everything up until Atlas is amazing
Love parkway.... especially their older stuff
Also Jia is in a wheelchair because he ruptured his ACL a few days before the tour started. He’s normally pretty active on stage
Oooooh good to know, thank you!

Romance Is Dead, Smoke 'Em If Ya Got Em, Carrion, Idols And Anchors, Boneyards, Wishing Wells, The Void, Shadow Boxing, Chronos. All Parkway bangers
All bangers. One of my favorites is I Hope You Rot. The bends on the lead in that song have me weak

There are plenty of high quality videos from Vainstream Rockfest as well, one of them the official live vid.
Great job ladies 😊❤️
As far as international touring success, I would put Parkway Drive up there with fellow Aussie acts INXS and ACDC
