People can hate on Reverance all they want but this song was what got me in to Metalcore. Opened my music tastes up and never turned back. I’ll always love Parkway Drive for that. Found these guys in rough time and boy did it mean a lot to find their music.
Dude literally same except prey was the song that got me into PWD. I honestly can’t stand their early stuff, PWD best albums are definitely the IRE, Reverance, and their new album!
@@klayshotter of course, the last 3 of their albums are many times cooler than the old ones, personally I started listening to Parkway Drive with the song Writings on the Wall from the album Ire, however, I wouldn't call their old work terrible, it's not bad, but personally I don't like it, but there are a couple that I like from it, namely Wild Eyes and Sleepwalker, I recommend you to listen, you may like it.
@@human-f5m of course i know some of there old song like wild eyes, idols and anchors, carrion and many more, but my taste is the last 3 albums are way more my style and liking
@@klayshotter similarly, as I said above, I also like their last 3 albums much more, but I don't think their old albums are terrible, in my opinion they are not bad, but I'm just indifferent to them.
Stop spreading this absolute nonsense, he was not upside down. You can literally see the sweat and spit fall downwards, if he was upside down it would have fallen upwards. Stop believing everything you read and then regurgitating misinformation.
Hell yeah, man! Definitely a big PWD fan and it's good to see more of them on here. Most people will give credit to Killing With A Smile for being PWD's first album, but if you REALLY want early PWD, and raw ass production, check out their album Don't Close Your Eyes. Most people don't even know about that album, but I love it. Super old school. I'd also love to see some PWD album reviews as you mentioned. BLEGH!
Fun fact dude this video is shot with Winston Upside down and they flip it to the other way. Guess it’s to enforce the veins in his next for the emotion
@@OhrionReacts yeah man it’s a very emotional song I’m sure it’s about a death of a family member with asking if it’s god it the devil and he will take them on. I’m a huge parkway fan so I found this out about the video 😂
It’s actually about a good friend of another band who passed away. Then his dog died (who was like a child to him and his wife as they don’t have kids) then just after that, one of the band members wife got diagnosed with cancer. It’s all the release of that shit going down in one song.
I encourage all to explore the Parkway song list.. words and music speak to the soul friends, through all the challenges we have. Been my friends for many years..🤘
Dude deep blue, Horizons and killing with a smile are some EXCELLENT albums. Highly recommend checking out Deliver Me, Carrion, Sleepwalker, Horizons (my fav), Romance is dead (also my fav lol), etc
I'm pretty sure this and the rest of the album is talking about Tom Searle from architects who died of skin cancer a few years ago. I Hope You Rot is another good one off of this album, doesn't top their older stuff but I still enjoyed it, great video.
I think reverence is a really really good album, I initially didn’t love it because of my fondness of their old stuff. But after coming back to this album I realised it is hard when a band you love changes their sound. Even when the sound they change to is still good. Having said that, I think IRE was a decent album but pretty inconsistent, and darker still had a couple of songs that were decent but overall just seemed like a poor effort from the boys. Reverence is an overall well rounded album
Dying to believe, boneyards, wishing wells, Thy art is murder: coffin dragger (winston features and hits good highs and meaty lows), sound of violence, deliver me

Sonce Ire this band have been on fire. One of the best live bands I’ve ever seen. New songs are great too.

The lyrics in this are so dark! It tells the story of losing someone close and the dangers of the compression of grief.
This song has gotten me through what I'm dealing with.
I had forgotten about this song but it's such a banger! I read the lead singer was hanging upside down for the entire video.
Haha yeah, that's what someone said above. Pretty sick tho!

Winston was always so good at conveying emotion, even if it is awkward seeing it this way. Winston is the best person on earth lol

I've been jamming that album for years, glad to see someone else that knows the discography pre-Horizons😂😂😂

Ouu!! Ok ok! I see you 🤘🔥
This song hits
Seeing parkway drive on October 1st with while she sleeps and Lorna shore. I’m so excited. 🥰
Parkway Drive - Horizons is life
They are one of the best in the worls

I think we all had the same reaction to that first scream

Do crushed by parkway drive
React to Horizons Album...
*world
Horizons album has nothing on KWAS!
You have such a reaction as if you are listening to heavy music for the first time, overplaying bro
🤔
when this song came out, I was so hyped for the new album, but then I was unfortunately pretty dissapointed ...
Noooooo
I actually enjoyed the album when it came out and I still enjoy it
@@chesterschannel6627 I grew up on their old stuff, so when they realised this rock album with harsh vocals, it just wasn’t for me
One of my all-time favorite bands, but still, everytime I come across any song from Reverence, it's the same disappointment
