Without a doubt, the most top shelf band I've ever seen, also really cool dudes to hang and have a chat with before a show
Yeah, they are fantastic live. I saw em with Killswitch Engage last year and it was nuts
Hell ya, I was able to experience their concert at a tiny venue called El Corazone in Seattle a few years back... it was fucking epic.
@@ianmedford4855 i am jealous
Love them both
Cant wait for concerts again
One of the best shows I’ve ever seen and they were super cool.
I was at this show and EVERYTHING was perfect. Weather, temperature and WHAT a solid live sound they brought. My god!
I will never forget this night...
Parkway Drive will always be my all time favorite band. They bring so much energy where ever they are and tour. I always to go their concerts when they tour the US.
Yea they are Australian. Bunch of surfer dudes lol
I saw them at Bloodstock. Tremendous band and definitely deserve the headliner slot.
You should deffo watch their recent documentary 'Viva The Underdogs'. Get the whole back story right up until this gig. Great bunch of guys who deserve their success.
Do “the void” by them at the same concert. It’s one of my favorite live videos of all time. The energy is absolutely unbelievable in it. Chills worthy.
3:50 if you listen to the recording, there is no guitar missing. The backup is playing the rhythm with the drums.
It does sound weird compared to the recording tho i hear what he's saying not the guitarist missing but sounds like something missing they are beasts it's not like they messed up but something sounds funny lol
@@thatdudephilly I think it’s just the fact that the lead guitar is so prominent in this song
Parkway Drive deserved to headline those shows and festivals...they been around almost 20 years
Sooooooo many years playing in high school gyms and small venues. Definition of hard work and perseverance
The bass player Jia broke his leg 2 weeks before Wacken when he was playing football... :D
He really has shit luck with breaking bones. Didnt he also break his leg before the tour in 2012? The one they made a documentary about.
Classic Parkway Drive things :D
@@million94 classic aussie things lol
Over 75k people in that crowd. Something I can only dream of. That's like the entire city I live in here in North Pole, Alaska...
Winston is one of the best live performers around. He sounds just as good on stage as he does on album recordings. Such an amazing band to see in person.
Parkway Drive is a helluva band. I highly recommend you guys do Wishing Wells for sure. Banger of a song
Pretty much every tour they do one of them ends up in a wheelchair from some kind of surfing accident. Recommend checking out their tour documentaries some time. A couple of them are floating around UA-cam.
Hell yeah this is a great song! Good job you blokes lol🔥👍🤘🏻
Would also have to agree, while they aren’t my favorite metal band, seeing them live was the most fun I’ve ever had at a metal show
The next live video you guys have to do is The Ghost Inside “Mercy” live from their comeback show. Unbelievable
Now these days you can not say that parkway drive is a pure metalcoreband. De last 2 albums are very metal-influenced. (Ire and Reverence... I'm not counting the viva the underdogs album) (Sorry my english is not that good) I saw them for the first time when I was 16 years old in Belgium AB. There was like 10 people at that show. And the music they made back in the days was hardcore, basic and some beatdown hardcore riffs/breaks... it evolved to metal-core and metal. Now I'm 32 years old. I've seen them at least 30 times. And still a massive fan. And even my 5 year old son now is a big fan😄 they deserve to be a big headliner🙌
You're right, their 1yo record actually reentered the German charts after their performance at Wacken 2019.
Also Ghost Inside - Mercy Live
G’day, I’m Pullen Mynob, pleased to meet you blokes.
Haha haha Harry Mack and parkway drive. I love you guys
I can't help but hear Morty when he sings
I worked on this video, along with the feature film Viva The Underdogs. Absolute legends.
Their new album Darker Still dropped yesterday and it shreds.
They are from Byron Bay Australia. From the same place as another band called In Hearts Wake. There are some amazing Australian metal bands out there
Haven't heard of Hearts Wake. Looking forward to checking them out 🤙
@@mississippihippie3600 In Hearts Wake, they're big into saving the environment and all that. They actually just released a new album this year. Worldwide Suicide is probably one of my favourites off the new album
Everytime i hear that firat riff.. i completely lose it.. it's so cool
This is insane tune n vid 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the shoutout guys made my day
THE VOID.... the same show... it’s 🔥🔥🔥
When people ask, why I want to go to wacken. This video is my Answer
Man I really wish you wouldnt put an ad right in the middle of the song. Kills it
Great reaction guys
Imagine writing a riff like that and have +- 100k people sing it.
Parkway's awesome. Could do some of their Sonisphere concert
THE VOID.... from the same show... trust me 🔥👍🏻
3:50 since I can play the song I must say there is no guitar missing it is just him playing the same intro notes faster.
If you enjoyed that one, I'd highly recommend doing the other official video from that show that's on their channel, The Void (ua-cam.com/video/EYXcpgp1fXY/v-deo.html). There they show more of the crowd, which makes one really appreciate what he means by saying "all the way to the horizon" in this recording. Plus, they're quite generous with pyros and you'll see crazy crowd surfers in The Void.
I love the intrumentals of hardcore, but I can't get into a song or a band when I can't hear a single word they're saying because it's just growling.
With this performance they've kicked all the metal elitists in the ass and shot em into orbit, really deserved headliner.
Ace reaction!!
react to same band same concert " the void "
Please react Alip ba ta Chanel. He's amazing fingerstyle. Thanks and regred from Indonesia
Do yourself a favour and watch the doco about this called Viva the underdog!
It’s the lead up to this concert
Office blokes 🤨
Stop saying waken like that...stop.
he really cant sing, he can growl and scream and hit those false notes, but when it comes to his cleans he sounds really bad, dont know how late in their set this song is and how tired and used up his voice is, but itss cringy
The crowd seem to enjoy it so..... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
