The man with the answers is surprisingly enjoyable. It’s technically NOT a gay film. But a film with gay characters. Big difference. Highly recommend.

"Maurice" is my favourite movie of all time ♥. I also agree with you about Free Fall".. I hope there will be a Part 2.. "Gods Own Country" is just simply beautiful & Brokeback Mountain & Call Me By Your Name are both classics. "Moonlight" was amazing! I must watch them all again soon ❤

Un Rubio is a true masterpiece and Gaston Re is extraordinary in the film.

Good lines also in Mario 2018, when dad reads note, Your Son Sucks Co*k, and the mom says, "so, he has good taste, it's his business", she had already met the secret bf.

One of the sweetest movies I have seen in quite a few years is Out of Body a gay supernatural comedy..
a movie I really like is called, Forth man out, its a movie about a guy that comes out to his best friends, and how they all come to terms with it, its a comedy drama.

Nah, you can totally do without ‘Call Me By Your Name’ or ‘Maurice’ or ‘God’s Own Country’ or ‘Love, Simon’.
The real must-sees are: ‘Weekend’, ‘Just a Question of Love’, ‘All Over the Guy’, ‘Bros’, ‘Man in an Orange Shirt’, ‘Eyes Wide Open’, ‘Shelter’.
Possibly my three favourite gay themed films have made this selection:
1) Brokeback Mountain
2) Maurice
3) God's own country
Pity 'Beauiful thing', 'Waterdrops on burning rocks', 'Peter von Kant' and 'The witnesses' did not make the cut, but that would have been asking too much.

Eh? The Man with the Answers was filmed in Greece and Puglia area of Italy, it's a road trip from Greece through Italy and up to Germany. The German scenes were filmed in South Tyrol in Italy. It is an excellent film and I love it

loved the scene in GodsOC when he is bathing his dad, so the dad can get privacy from the lads gran - a real moment of affection and understanding, then when the gran is picking up the lads clothes from floor and finds the used condom - beautiful acceptance..

I agree, watch CMBYN once. This film is a total mess, to much interference from Hollywood. The biggest problem is its has a casting problem, Hammer is so uncomfortable with the intimacy in the film its palpable. Chalamet does his best to carry the film but hes a good actor, he's not a great actor and besides one or two exceptional scenes fails. All together it a mess. If you want to see Guadagnino at his best watch "a bigger splash".

I only liked Moonlight for the actual representation. I barely see realistic characters on screen. Often times the director portrayal of gays being over feminine or not fem at all. Where are the one in between. With people of color.
No gay men that I know liked Call Me By Your Name. It just doesn’t feel genuine.
I agree. I didn’t find Armie Hammer convincing. The attraction seemed one sided. I know it’s sacrilege but I didn’t find Heat Ledger convincing in Brokeback either, especially compared to Jake Gyllenhaal who was superb.

I don’t know any gay man who liked Call Me. It doesn’t seem genuine.
It was a total mess, not a goof film.
Now you do! LOL :) I'm a gay man and I liked CMBYN. It deserves some of the criticisms but I liked it - mostly. :) I think it was a unique story - both book and film, but I have quibbles with parts of both.@@knucklehead48
