I love that people are finally starting to see how to do this properly without accidentally ending up with straight hair. your hair looks so GORGEOUS, its just how I like to texturise mine
Okay, so, even with doing the texlax (initially) you need to do it this way as well, correct? I'm asking because I'm seriously considering this! I love my natural hair but I need to see some length!
Thank you for the follow up video! I love my 4c hair but living in Florida doesn't make it the easiest to manage between the constant high humidity, rain and dew point.
Lol I just moved here with my fro from NC and I ain’t never look at a video like this till I got here lol I know I’ll be spending the rest of my life on the islands so maybe I should consider😊
@Danyelle Daley omg so sorry to hear that. Do you think the oil affected the mixture or something? Could have just been too strong on your hair esp if it was colored or bleached before.
I'm happy to see that your hair is amazing after a 6 months update. I texturized my hair 6 months ago and sadly my hair is damaged. This wasn't my first time having it done, twice I had it done professionally and this time I did myself. After a few days my end were brittle and I had it trimmed and it continued this way trimming every month. My final decision is to do a big chop and that's not what I really want to do.
@@ByShello My reason for texturizing was to have a good wash and go. I was only able to do this on that one day because my hair felt lame and very dry. Never attempted doing a wash and go after that.
@@ByShello the very first time I had it done my texture looked like yours but this last time was the worse ever. Never have I had damaged hair like this before. Big chop or wigs.
I think whoever did it just messed up big time & if you continued to do it on already damaged hair it’s only gonna get worse. So even tho it’s not what what you want, I think you should just leave your hair as is, do protective styles, oils etc and when you have enough new growth, cut off the straight pieces and work with what you have. Then maybe you can come back to my first video and watch how I texturized my hair & do it yourself.
you making me consider texturizing my hair so bad ...! I’m 3c/4a but my hair is soooo THICK 😫 so tiyadd of fighting lol .. what are the cons of texturizing tho? Like I used to have perm for years but it ended up breaking my hair which is why I went natural in 2016. I don’t wanna go through breakage all over again
I mean you are prone to breakage no matter the type of hair you have, just depends on how you treat your hair. I think that’s one of the cons, not treating it well/moisturizing it will make it break & give you single strand knots. So you really have to take care of it.
I texturize too and its beginning to be too expensive at the salon 150.00 plus tax and a tip so i wanna do it myself. My stylist uses regular relaxers and just rinses it immediately but this box looks promising. Thank you.
@@ByShelloI would like to know the name of this product, I live in Spain and sometimes it is hard to find this kind of relaxer creams .I loved your results 👩🏽🦱😍
This is the outcome that I wanted… instead my hair looks like an under processed relaxer🥴😩… it’s been about 6 months since I did it so now I’m watching videos to see what I can do to fix it
Ur hair is always so nice, for the first time do you recommend applying it all first and then calculating the time? I feel like it won't take if I calculate while applying the texturizer. Also, do you deep condition after applying it?
Where did you buy the kit at also is it okay to go longer without a touch up and do you think new growth will blend great, your making me want to consider so I’m wondering also do you think it slows hair growth? Ik im asking a lot but last question, can we get a video on the products you use or what you do to keep your hair healthy and prevent breakage
I bought it at a beauty supple store. It’s okay to go longer without it in my opinion. Because you’re not constantly putting chemicals on your hair which won’t make it prone to breakage and weakness. It doesn’t slow hair growth, atleast not for me, my hair has grown from the last 2 update videos I did. As for the videos, I’ll see what I can do.
I love my natural hair so much so I won't relaxe it mainly because it took me two years to grow out a relaxer to get natural don't want to go through that again😔 your hair is gorgeous great results😊
I’m back watching this follow up video the first video I bought the same box, then I clutched the box, now I have opened the box while watching this video 😭 I’m so apprehensive but I need more ease so here we go😅
My hair is bra strap length. Should I go ahead n get two boxes for virgin/ full head of hair No lie your texturized hair is how my hair normally looks. Maybe I’ll have to leave it on for 5 min max to not get straight. My hair has fine strands🤔🥴
Only the new growth needs to be done. You don't process the hair that's already been processed, unless you want your hair to fall out. The new hair that has grown in ONLY.
Relaxer or texturizer were Never intented to be reapplied to the entire hair after the first process. This is the mistake many people make. They should only be reused on regrowth.
I’d say two weeks after. ua-cam.com/video/kZ1kPjCHkiI/v-deo.html & ua-cam.com/video/HjjJmAfsbLg/v-deo.html & ua-cam.com/video/9XAioykHPHE/v-deo.html these videos can help too.
Cual es el primer video quiero texturizar el mio desde el comienzo y luego hacer los retoques que tú te haces. Quiero empezar y no morir en el intento mi cabello es 4c se me encoje muy fei y no me gusta y quiero llevarlo suelo así afro.
I recommend going less yes. But if it’s the same texture it may be way looser so be mindful of that too. Do a test strand at the back/nape, watch it, time it then go from there to see the best time for you.
are the results permanent because when i was 13 my mom put a texturizer just in the front of my hair and now i’m 17 on my natural hair journey and it’s been looser than my curls in the back which are 3b-3c but my front is like a 2c-3a it doesn’t curl the same at all?
It’s only permanent on the hair you put it on, because you have new growth & that’s virgin hair. I don’t think after all those years the traces of texturizer would still be there to have that effect. You probably just have a loser texture at the front, like myself. 2c-3a hair would most likely have a wavy texture (loose) and not a coily texture (tight) so that is why the curl is different.
@@ByShello Same with me! I have 3c curls in the middle of my head and back as well, but the front is 4b. All it takes, is gel for my curly middle hair to spike up. I need the front to be defined and loosened. What is some advice, you could give to someone like me?
Yours is the BEST I’ve seen so far! A lot of ppl lose their curl and it be looking like a relaxer. Yours still has a lot of definition and curls
Thank you! Appreciate it!

How often do you retouch your texurizer
Don't have a set time. But i try to stretch them. My first update was two months after then this.
I permed my hair and big chopped in January, going to get braids done and call it a day
Does it burn your scalp like a regular perm would, should I not touch my scalp before putting it in?
Yes it will burn. Don’t irritate your scalp before.
where did you purchase the texturizer kit?
This is Nikki anderson my mother does my hair
You're the real Person
Can you straighten your hair with it being texturized?
You can but just be more serious about the preparation to protect your hair.
Don’t use too much heat
Wear it! It's beautiful
