I just ordered the srixon zx5 4-pw and cbx 2 in 48,52,56,60. Can't wait for the weather to smarten up here in canada
I’ve just started using a 48, 56 and 60 in the CBX2, very hard to miss hit.
According to TXG, higher bounce and wider sole width causes less dig which means you strike lower on the face thereby increasing spin due to the gearing effect... great for one's distance and mid wedges and out of soft sand. Conversely go with thinner low bounce for a lob wedge if you value playability around the green and from firm sand. Mix and match for ultimate versatility
I have a zipcore 52 and 58 and they help produce spin. Going to replace my starter PW with a zipcore 46 degree, and throw either a 3h/possibly a 3 iron or a 7w. Haven’t totally decided. One thing I know is that I don’t need 4 wedges in my bag.
I just picked up the CBX2 in 50 & 54. Played today and my approach shots and chipping were immediately improved vs. my cheap Lazrus wedges. Didn't chunk a shot, not once. Love these wedges!
The extra spin is partially from faster club head speed
I've got CBX2 58 with graphite Rotex. I really liked it so bought the newer CBX Zipcore in 46 and 52 Rotex. Love the feel and especially the new Zipcores.
Also love Gareth's swing with the wedges, definitely going to try and emulate some of that, if I can!

The cbx has always intrigued me, and it's something I would consider putting in the bag. My query would be how easy is it to play different shots compared to a more traditional wedge cause of the larger cavity. Really great video 👍
Let's Do a test for CB wedges/Callaway Mack Daddy CB wedge vs Cleveland CBX 2 wedge? i.e. 30/40 yards over the bunker onto the green with medium to less green to work with and about a 6-foot radius for one putt., for High Handicappers.
I have the CBX wedges and love them, great spin, great control and lovely feel.

Great video guys. Really informative. I only this week heard about this game improvement wedge and the benefit if this over a blade wedge seems huge fir a mid Hcap like me. If I lived close to you guys I would be straight down after lockdown to get fitted for a bag of Cleveland’s. Shame I live in dublin! Thanks for the great video

How do the CBx2 wedges perform on tight lies? Can they bounce into the ball and thin it?

Hi Rob, I got the mat about 5 years ago but not sure exactly where but it was around £220-£240 plus shipping I think, if you search golf teaching mat there should be a few to price around 👍
What about the chip shots with the cbx?
