The fact Sergio's ball landed perfectly in the tree like that is more incredible than everything he has done in his career.
Pretty sure I’d rather win a green jacket
He did
you didn't play golf enough!!
Damn... Six years.
Haha! The guy who jumped in the lake at 4:44 after Phil made his putt is a champion!
Wow
got that too
Why’s no one questioning how the ball even got there In the first clip
Grxy How’d the ball even get there in the first clip?
Whats there to question?.. He shot the ball and thats where it landed... Mystery solved...
The ball landing up there was more impressive than any of these
AttilatheThrilla cheers lad you should solve the mystery of Madeleine mccann next with those skills
What's to question? I saw that live, that's where it landed.
The real skill is getting it in those places
Nate the Ace ikr
Hahaha, what a shity sport.
RenamedUser_BoRn2Kill Meza Valdéz it ain’t a bad sport, if you plan making it pro in college, you wrong you have like a 4 percent chance of making it too the nba nfl and fifa, EVEN IF YOUR A PRO ,,, Golf ⛳️ if fun and you make like millions. And it’s easy to make it to of a tour.
@@speculate6719 it is a shity game like ur thinks.
RenamedUser_BoRn2Kill Meza Valdéz loser
I don't know Why i'm watching this, i don't even play golf
Same lol
Happy Gilmore brought me here.
Same
You should try
You don't have to play a sport TO watch it. (But.I do play golf)
I still think Forsman's punch under the trees, while just lucky, was the #1. That's a 1 in about 5 million to make that.
Couldn't agree more dude. Althought I think I could make it in about 4 million myself........
I also found it funny that Pat Summerall called Ben Crenshaw's left handed wedge from under a tree to six feet of the hole in tournament conditions as "pretty good".
Man, Summerall must have been tough to shop for during Christmas..........
P.S. Where is Greg Norman's recovery shot on 17 at the 1986 masters? One of the greatest shots of all time, in the final round of the Masters. Gotta be on this list IMO.
*****
What are you talking about dude? The shot I'm talking about IS IN THIS VIDEO, and is not a major. What I was saying was that instead of it being number four on this list, it should have been number one. Maybe YOU need to pay attention more lol.
I know that this is really old, but you didn't mention anything about first or fourth in your previous comment. You just said that it needs to be on the list, which it is. You need to make sure you convey correctly what you want to say.
brown55061 i
brown55061 I was gonna say that. While many of the other shots at least got the golfers on the green and in decent position, this guy made that putt blind. It probably helped that there was that slope in the right spot else he would have wound up in the bunker and likely gone on to at least end up with a bogey.
Sergio: "Number 10? I climbed a tree and backhanded the ball onto the fairway, and I'm number ****ing 10?"
anononomous I was screaming the same thing.... Hah
@@xmt2rcv882 The Phil Mickelson over-hype is strong in this video. Both of his were basically him hitting over trees. Not saying they were not good shots, but every player does them on a semi-regular basis. Of course Phil doesn't want to tell you all how wonderful he is...
4:43 that guys jumping in!
That shots not hard it's just the fact that it happened, all he had to do was hit it 10-15 yards and it was practically impossible to miss the green.
I knew Phil would be on here. He is one of my favorite players and my favorite person to pull off recovery shots. I watched him do some pretty amazing things. He's racked up alot more in 3 years since this video.
Anyone notice the guy jumping in the lake at 4:44
I was just gonna say that! hahahaha wonder what happened to him next?
+gega27tt
I guess he got wet.
or got eaten by the infamous alligator
Lol
Andrew Berger
Idk why I’m watching this but I couldn’t stop watching

Years ago I played in the Public Links amateur's tournament and this young man names Reid hit into the water beside the green. His ball was literally 6 to 8 inches under the water but the water was clear and you could see his ball very well. He took off his shoes and socks, laid that wedge open like a bunker shot, knocked in on the green with the ball funneling down a hill and into the hole. Damnedest shot I have ever seen in my life. Lucky or good but regardless it went in :)
Doubt it , seriously.
True story, seriously! Craziest shot I've ever seen in person.@@stick9648

4:43 did that guy jump in the water lmfao?
YES HE DID LOL
Just about to ask the same thing hahaha
xxSturdyWingsxx i think so
Yes he jumped
DatBossAM :D Anyone could come on here and claim it was them...
My hubby would be over the moon thrilled and grateful to have this incredible Golf gift. 🎄🌻❤️
4:42 did that guy in the background just jump in the pond?😂
oh my gosh lol
Stolen comment
I was just about to say this too 😂😂
He got eaten and alligator, true story, my mommy told me.
He may have been jumping over to go congratulate Phil?
It was an excellent shot, but I don't consider Tiger's shot a recovery shot regardless the grass situation he was in.
Yea, you gotta have a little more than thick rough to make this list.
+Jon Lanier what about the impossible pin placement from where he was at? the green was straight into the water from where he was at
Sharting Kity If that would be the case, then this should be a human highlight real of Phil and Seve.
For real. How can Tigers shot even be in the top 20. This is not best shots of a year, 5 years or even a decade. This was ALL TIME. Whatever. Any decent golfer could make that shot if given 10,15 tries so that shouldn't be considered top 10 of all time.
Give me a break
T App No way a decent golfer could’ve made that shot in 10-15 tries. The camera angle didn’t do the shot justice. He had a huge ridge to hit over while being in ridiculously thick rough with an extremely fast green and having the pin be near the water. He had to make the shot when he was one back in the final round of a tournament.
#4 should have been #1. Incredible how he managed to get the ball into the hole from so far away.
and he looked like joe biden
That dan foreman shot was absolutely incredible
number 4,too!
I thought number 4 should have been number 1. The fact it made it in was so insane
Number 2, fore!
No 4 was kind of lottery...even the player wouldn't have expected that
How is #10 not #1?
@@joecoolberry911 p
There's a reason my guy Phil is on the list twice, my favorite golfer all time!
4:43 some guy jumped in the water.
445
I thought it looked like someone decided to do cannonball after Phil hit that put. He must have been drinking all day before he jumped in. Hope he took his phone and everything water can damage out of his pockets 1st. LOL.
Silverado4x4 / What if your phone is water resistance?
Hahaha
Hope he left them in. Idiots must pay the price for their stupidity. @@chuckie0223
That shot at 3:05 was incredible!!
announcer just starts laughing its so unreal
i could not believe this was not clickbait
Sage Bias yeah, that actually happened, lol!
To all those commenting on Bubba's shot not being here...READ THE DESCRIPTION! It clearly states EXCLUDING MAJORS! So no Bubba at the Masters or Tiger at the Masters or anyone at any major. You're welcome.
I loved that the commentator just started laughing. Enjoyed that clip
You forgot happy Gilmores recovery on the 18th at the masters
Thanks for the likes never had so many before !!
Alex Ryder 😂 this video didn’t include the masters anyway
Lucy Brayton yeah true 😂
Shooters shot off that ogres foot was more impressive 😂😂
You forgot happy Gilmores recovery on the 18th at the masters Thank for the likes never had so many before !!
#4 clip definitely should have been #1 or #2. Absolutely inane and it literally went in the hole!
See, THIS is why golf is one of the most challenging sports in the world. You just never know where your ball will land and you have to hit it where it lies.
That's what she said.
+adam Scott lmao
Not one of the most physically challenging
Doesn't have to be. Still hard.
Max Renauldo try walk a 6 km golf course on a hot day bringing your own golf bag and not to mention the time you'll spend searching for the lost balls :)
Dubuisson's could have been combined into one entry and what about Matt Every's hole out from the hazard?
Dude at 4:43 was probably like, If Phil gets this up and down i’ll jump in this lake
😂😂😂lmaooo but the real question is how did u see that
Number 4 was easily the best! Wow!
Yes we saw the guy jump in the pond, to all u askers
Beautiful shots by great golfers so far on time
4:43 that guys jumping in!
Ogni volta che vedo queste bravure rimango esterrefatto ,bellissimo
Amateurs. I try shots like these every time I play.
Key word being "try" 😅😅😅😅
Haas shot is a classic by now. Well deserved
"Hand me my tree wedge."
Sergio: "Number 10? I climbed a tree and backhanded the ball onto the fairway, and I'm number ****ing 10?"
Golf can be so frustrating, yet so fun. It’s pure mental and form.
Bubba from the pine straw in playoff hole at Augusta should be #1
That number 4 is crazy 🤪 🔥
tiger woods!!!
... had easily the least impressive shot in this compilation, should've been at #10, if at all.
@Nicholas Ostiguy It was pure garbage, get over it. I did those shots when I was 9
@@Stopsign32v yeah and I’m sure you won millions by doing so, just enjoy the video
Number 4 made my jaw drop ...I could rewatch that replay a million times and everytime imma think no way its going in
haha 1:42 that guy screaming "in the hole" was probably like...man that was all me
Golf is the best and most fun sport in the world.
Add Victor Dubuison on this from the match play this year, incredible stuff hole after hole from impossible position.. he made an instant fan out of me that's for sure.
agreed
Vous pouvez me traduire en français SVP Merci
One shot can make your name known forever. Awesome.
I will say, I do hate golf, I just don't have the patience required, but the skill of these golfers is absolutely insane.
Grizzly Machismo
POSSIBLY 1ST TIME EVER GOLF SHOTS. While playing a small local tournament at an Executive Course in S.D. (4 par 4's and 14 par 3's). When a guy in the group ahead of us aced 3 of the par 3 holes ranging from 120 -165 yards. . . . . Consecutively. The celebration in the group spread to our group starting with high 5's on the 1st one to unbelievable shock and amazement realizing what we had just witnessed, an amazing accomplishment. Beating astronomical odds of 1 in infinity.
How is Tigers at the memorial better than Sergio's I'm a tiger fan but seriously he climbed into a tree!
I'll be honest I came here from another recommended golf video and now I find these entertaining
1:41: A perfect example of why Tiger Woods is my favorite golfer to walk the face of this earth. And nothing he has done will ever change that.
18 master might change mine. Jack would have give him a run for the money. Think about all the equipment changes. That's a match I would have love to see.(favourite sure, best not sure)
Beautiful bill haas tiger great play ben crawshaw and the cactus shot
"Play it where it lies" - Patrick
The skills are fantastic !
4:44 the guy jumped in the pond😂😂
An excellent compilation of shot most entertaining.
num.4 Dan Forsmon or whatever his name that chipped and rolled it all the way into the hole should have been num 1 that was insane. I think num. 2 should have been Bubba Watson banana hook with his I think it was sand wedge in Playoff that led him to win the masters. Still cool list
I agree, miracle shot
Silverado4x4 - But it was not on PGA Tour. Comment you reread the Title.
@@mattscrutton it got lucky
Never saw that shot by Forsman before, that was incredible. All of these were o.O
at 4:44 guy jumps into the water
Never watched golfing in my life and got this recommended
Sorry, but Johnny Millers shot off the boards is got to be #1. I know this is the PGA but some Road hole shots off the wall on 17 should be on here as well.
Heritage Harbor Town links is on here twice. I guess my home town course is tricky!
#10 is #1
Golf. Just as fun as watching grass grow.
Okay, how did #10 get their in the first place?
paul stewart to me that was the best one. He had to climb 20 feet up in the tree & hit it backwards. Not to mention had to keep his balance while trying to hit the ball. Amazing shot
BBBYpsi I think he means how did the ball get in the tree.
The ball does funny things.
there*
aaaand he just won the masters lol
#4 was EPIC
I don't see why Bubba Watson's hook shot from Augusta wasn't on this list.
Or phils from the mulch around the tree to within 4 feet.
"excluding majors" Read the description
Agree the most insane shot I ever seen in my life
Need to create a new list with Spieth in it. Shot to save the US Open and the shot over the hill which not only saved him at least 2 strokes, but also led to him rallying off several successful holes in a row.
@@Failociraptor yeah I agree thats one of the greatest shots in history.
number 4 was my favorite.
4:43 that guys jumped in the pond xD
Its always number 1 for me as well! I watched it live in New Zealand & it still amazes me! Not quite as much as hunter though? 😂👊🇳🇿
Reposted the Top 10 with some new shots and you didn't add Dubuisson's shots from the WGC Accenture Match Play 2014 Final...?
"Tree Wedge"! Love it!
4:43 the guy jumping into the water
this is what Golf is all about
4:43 Random cannonball
When Phil holed the put at #2 did some dude just jump right in the water? Do spectators often do that because I haven't noticed?
This is why this sport is more exciting than WNBA
0:29 "Oh please don't jump..."
*jumps*
0:31 "OH YES...9.8 on the dismount."
At 4:44, anyone else see the guy in the background jumping into the pond?
I don't know about anyone else but these guys shoot better than me in the woods, in the water, and from up in a tree than I shoot normally. That's really , really good. My favorite was Garcia in the tree
4:42 does any one know if he made it :)
I just watched a golf movie today and then somehow this video is in my recommendation :3
I remember Mr. BEAN
Watching amazing recovery shots, magical hole in ones, and epic stories in golf brings more excitements than watching soccer World cup.
“He can at least get the club on da all Peda” -Louise griffin
Who is Louise griffin?
2:57 Thats my favorite clip, with the uh... Oh... as the ball creeps up to the hole
How is Tiger's chip a recovery shot? More importantly, where is Bubba's hook around the trees in the playoff to win his first masters?
they weren't on the PGA Tour man
Will b
???
+Dtyler171 look in the discription, and his chip wasn't, but the shot before.
tibbe bennik
???
Wtf, can I get a response that makes sense?
Dtyler171 Tiger's chip is considered a recovery shot because of the brutal lie he had and to pull off that kind of shot is amazing. Bubba's shot isn't in there because the description mentions it is excluding majors. Have a nice day :)
Was Tiger's shot a recovery shot or just a difficult shot?
I’m still wondering how he got it on the tree
Epic shot at the end.
4:43 “Hey honey, if he makes this shot I’ll jump in the water!”
Recovery shots are important part of successful games 👍
at 1:40 say "I'm Tiger Woods, I'm Tiger Woods, WEE!" it's a reference from family guy
Idk what it is about Golf, but I love it so dam relaxing and just a beautiful sport to watch.
DID ANYONE ELSE SEE THE GUY JUMP INTO THE CREEK IN THE BACKGROUND AT 4:44
i did haha
Jason Dufner out of the rocks and almost birdies the shot. Got to be top 10
Bubba from masters not count as PGA tour?
That shot was undoubtedly amazing
It does say excluding Majors in the description
As soon as I saw 4:43, I immediately ventured into the comment thread. Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed. 😊
3:00 commentator just laughing is the appropriate reaction to such an asinine shot (in a good way)
