Merry Christmas Lisa I have to tell you I made a blue flower bowl you showed us in a class awhile ago. I just put up for sale in my senior center and sold it for $45.00. Thanks for showing how to make your flowers.!!
OMGoodness Lisa, you have covered all the "art" bases into one beautiful piece! Ceramics, alcohol inks, markers and now resin! OMGoodness how are we ever going to catch up with you:? Wishing you a VERY VERY MERRY Christmas and the absolute BEST, HEALTHY, HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS, CONTINUED SUCCESS in 2025! God Bless
@Mariede425 Awww, thank you so much!!!! Lots of fun stuff to look forward to in the new year. 😀😃🙂🙃 Can't wait to share some more fun videos. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a peaceful, healthy, and prosperous new year!!! 😊
Beautiful tiles you made. Love them. Wish you a good recovery from your cold and the artrose, hoping you can pick up your pottery again soon. A webshop, always something with it, hear more people about this, its not so easy. Success in sorting this out Lisa. Have a nice christmasday with your family and hubby's bday. Merry Christmas 🎄 👋 Sheila 🇳🇱
@@JohannaSUNDQVIST-bf7ul Thanks!! 😀 I hope to do another one soon, with some more tips that I learned. Lol. Merry Christmas to you, ALL the way from Finland!!!! Very cool. Thanks for watching!
Hi. I enjoyed this video. Since not being able to do my pottery, I've been dabbling with resin, both epoxy and uv. Would I be overstepping if I told you that you can pop the bubbles with a light spray of isopropyl alcohol or even a toothpick will sometimes pop them. And the torch, of course. You mentioned in the beginning that the pink alcohol stained the back of the tile. It does, and it won't come off. I love watching your videos, whatever you're doing. Yes, tell your son he has to show himself as the grinch 😊 It's Christmas eve night here in Australia. I'm house sitting and dog sitting for my son and his family. Anyway, I hope your cold clears up and that you have a merry Christmas with your family. 😊
@carolynpollack1083 Thanks Carolyn! Merry Christmas to you and your family. Hope you are all blessed with a wonderful new year full of peace, laughter, and good health. 😀 I'm always open to suggestions! 😀 What stained the back of the tile was the alcohol ink. Not sure what you mean by pink alcohol? 🤔 I think I read somewhere about the alcohol eliminating the bubbles. Do you just spray it on? Do you then let it evaporate or use the torch. I would it worry it could catch fire, though, right? I love the UV, but it's pricey. I think it's probably for mostly smaller projects. What do you think? I also forgot that I could set the bottle of resin in warm water to soften it up a bit if needed. But I think that might make it too runny, and it does shorten the curing time. I plan to do another video on using the resin soon. Maybe tomorrow, if I can squeeze it in. 😀 We don't do much on Christmas day. I have family coming today for my husband's birthday/Christmas. All advice is welcome! 😀
Sorry that you have been poorly Lisa - I LOVE this technique. The tiles look fab do you buy the tiles glazed or are they bisque? The gold is fab. Thanks for sharing and have a great Christmas and visit with your family. ❤ Jan
@@auroraskies8827 Hi Jan. These tiles are not glazed. The glazed ones are much better for blending, but these were ones that I used to throw a bunch of mugs on the wheel. The unglazed tiles make it so much easier to just pop off the mugs from them while drying.
You need to have all your colors ready to go fast, fast so they blend. By the time you pick, shake and open your next choice the first ones are beyond blending stage
@@barbarac4138 Thank you! I also discovered that the glazed tiles are better for blending. Why didn't my old brain think of that??? (Probably because these were free.) Haha. Leftover from using them to throw on the pottery wheel. Thanks for warching!!! ❤️
@pamdorneman888 Hello. No, these tiles are not glazed. But most people use glazed tiles. It depends on what effect you want. Honestly, glazed tiles are probably easier to use. I really liked the effects I got. Thanks for watching.

He fol I have watched wet the tile with a spray bottle and layer the product in the middle then tilt the tile in different directions
