I live in Elk Grove, CA and live next to a bike trail. The bike trail is popular with walkers, runners and bikers alike. I met a couple (60's) a couple of years ago and through conversation told them about my WFPB lifestyle. Last fall, the husband had a heart attack and told me about the procedures he had. I asked if his medical team suggested a change in his diet and he told me "no." I suggested he look into what programs were available through his insurance plan. He's in a supervised program for cardiac rehab and they are now WFPB!!! The wife is enrolled in Forks Over Knives cooking classes and have read books on reversing heart disease.
