    Episode 51
Bel Air is a residential neighborhood located on the Westside of Los Angeles, in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains. Founded in 1923, Bel Air forms the Platinum Triangle of Los Angeles neighborhoods. Along with Beverly Hills and Brentwood, Bel Air is also part of a high-priced area on the Westside known as the "3 Bs."
Bel Air was the fictional home of the Beverly Hillbillies and Will Smith as the Fresh Prince of Bel Air (although exterior shots for the show were filmed in nearby Brentwood). Bel Air is and was the real home of notable personalities such as Jack Benny, Wilt Chamberlain, Clint Eastwood, Alfred Hitchcock, Jennifer Aniston, Leonard Nimoy, Joni Mitchell, Ronald Reagan and Elizabeth Taylor.
In this trip we start headed west on the Sunset Strip through Beverly Hills before turning north onto Bel Air Road, then onto Stradella Road and back south through Bel Air via Roscomare Road.
Highlights include “The One” which is a 105,000 square foot on 3.8-acre record setting mega mansion and compound. Construction began in 2014. Following delays, it was completed in 2021. The developer initially sought to sell the mansion for $500 million, but the company fell into bankruptcy and the building sold at auction for $126 million, a record auction sale price in the United States at the time.
(‘The One’ can be seen at the 14:50 - 15:54 mark, on the left)

I’m guessing most people in Bel Air are either getting groceries delivered or have someone to do those type of errands for them, but either way they’re not too far off, a few minutes depending on location.
