Hawaiian Airlines 787-9 taxi and takeoff from LAX (runway 24R)

This is unedited taxi and takeoff footage from LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) aboard a Hawaiian Airlines 787-9 bound for Honolulu (HNL) in June 2024.
My seat was 5J, the departure runway was 24R, and the aircraft registration was N781HA.

Your flight was less than 5 hours…for some reason the same flight from San Diego on the A330 runs upwards of 6hrs 10 mins..,is the 787 just that much faster of a plane or is the route from San Diego just that less efficient?

Flights from San Diego to Honolulu (on the A330, A321 and 737) are usually less than five hours most of the time. That said, they can be 6+ hours during the winter (when the winds are especially strong).
