WTF?! Why remove the nutrient containing skin just because it's not organic? That's where all the good stuff for them is. I have been giving my plecos zucchini (called courgette here) from the supermarket forever, and one is 15 and the another is 27yrs old!
Just put less in, depends on water and tank, it can be left overnight, but when it starts to go soft I would remove it. Some go soft quick if when bought it was not fresh that day!
I never blanched! I liked it when I could find organic zucchini because then I could leave the green on the outside after just a brief wash. Otherwise just use a vegetable scraper and get the green off and slice it up and put it on the end of a fork or something to weigh it down and let it settle to the bottom of the tank.
Hi Craig 👋🏾Thank You very much!!! 💕
That one shady Corydora in the super red tank lol. He was circling the pleco like he wanted to take that zucchini over lol. You have beautiful Plecos!
Great video!!
Love the plecos!!!

Use an aquarium peg..than weighted down with forks..just clip the courgette onto the peg, then stick it on to the glass.
Very nice
You win me over with the cousin Eddie quote! Outstanding! Do you prefer zucchini over spinach?

@@HauntedHorizons-E1b3ron thanks sir!
Quick question…does it matter if u blanch/boil it? I feed my pleco the same way as u….but every video I’m watching says blanch/boil it?

No, in fact I have raised thousands, currently got 700 feeding on unblanched right now!
