The story about the thieves reminds me of the time my ex-girlfriend (before we got together) had her then ex husband walk into Walmart, go to the pet area grab a fish tank then took it to customer service to try and get money. I can't remember if he had a receipt for it or not but both of them are banned from Walmart because of it.

Story 1: I dont know who's worse here... the dumb demon spawn or the dumb demon spawn mother. This story really is a good example of the phrase "you cant help those that wont help themselves". The OP did absolutely everything to try and help this moron out and got blown off every single time, along with insulting his intelligence.. which was beyond stupid. The demon spawn is one of those students who thinks he can just coast through and wonders why he fails. Too bad the OP's mom, the teacher, didnt have a principal or VP or someone else in the room with her (if they did, it wasnt clear), because they way she was treated was appauling. Good thing the mom refused to teach him for the next year and hopefully pressed charges against demon spawn for keying her car. Also, demon spawns dad apparently has no spine at all... that guy needs to get away.
Story 2: Yeah, thats scamming 101 here in action. Both returning something without a receipt and trying to steal things by hiding them in something like a stroller. People just will never learn.

@@thusluxx1358 I wouldn’t call you a bad student, I would say you’re struggling but you’re still trying to achieve it may take a couple of tries but don’t give up, I had the same issue in university. I failed both my majors but I was able to try again and I passed.
With Demon Spawn he is a bad student because he isn’t taking the time to study and he blames everyone else because he is too lazy to study, plus he won’t find a job acting like that.

When my mom was in high school, her older sister was an English teacher. There was a decent age gap. Anyway, every year my aunt had to give the office a list of students she couldn’t teach because they were friends with my mom.

My father encouraged my studying through the carrot and stick approach. Very effective, I was consistent on the top ten AND I get to enjoy having the video games that I love. It taught me the value of delayed gratification and discipline, while not being too harsh as i still got to enjoy my childhood.

I hope that teacher took the bribe letter to the principal. I have a feeling Demon Spawn has learning disabilities and needs special classes. It is nothing to be ashamed of but without the proper environment he might never succeed. I don't say he would not succeed to be mean but people with mental problems and learning disabilities need a modified curriculum. There are special schools for people with learning disabilities and the students there are not bad people and no these places are not run like some sort of prison. I would know because I have some learning difficulties and had to go to one. That is why I don't feel ashamed. The teachers there are trained to help your child and their psychologists are friendly and they do not sound judgmental. They are all great people working in these places to help students with their difficulties. I knew someone there who is legally blind and while he could see it would scare the shits out of me to see him driving a car.
