As a retired divorce attorney, fewer than five minutes into this video, I would advise getting a restraining order against both your mother and your sister.
I've heard more about the story. His sister was starting to act more like her mother whenever her mother was around but didn't act that way when she and her boyfriend was alone. Or so the boyfriend said. The mom tried to split his sister and her boyfriend up by saying his sister cheated on him. So Op, his sister, and the boyfriend met at a restaurant and talked it over. (Or it was just the boyfriend and OP then all three. I forget. Some details may not be correct. But try to keep the main fact's correct.) Anyways, OP gotten them one of those family test things to see who was the father (the child wasn't born yet so they got the one that could be tested well the child was in the womb I guess) and the boyfriend was the father. OP promised them that if the child was the boyfriends, he would give them temporary living, the boyfriend would get a job, and his sister must get therapy. They got the test results sent to both his (OP) house & the mother's house. OP knew the mother was going to try to mess things up. So that's how they found out who the father was. Apparently, the boyfriend was a different race and the mother was apparently racist. Long story short, the mother disowned them both at the end. That's as far as I know it. If this story continued from this point, I'm completely unsure.
I fricking loved it when the mom had to drag the daughter away from the house, what a baby. I hope you and your girlfriend have a such a good relationship you become one of those sweet old couples the neighbors love

My condolences to you for the loss of your dad, he done a fine job bringing you up and teaching you the value of life, money and hard work. Hopefully you and your girlfriend live a long and happy life together
It sounds like how my mom was five years ago before she got set straight. I believe there is a bitch out there like that who needed to be set straight.
The mother had already received the marital house in the divorce plus alimony and child support and the majority of what was in the house. The fact that their father gave her ANYTHING is amazing in and of itself. I understand why their father gave so little to the daughter… she didn’t have much of a relationship with her father and she only cared about him for his money. OP, his son, moved in with him as soon as he possibly could. He worked with him and spent as much time with him as he could. He truly loved his father. He didn’t care about what he had. He cared about the man, the Dad, the mentor. They all got what they deserved.
I think there were actually 2 parts to this story before this part. The mother was forever letting the daughter steal from Op, lie about him, getting him grounded, forcing him to do everything, she'd slap him etc, he always let his dad know what was going on, and when he got home, he would sort things out. The dad got a lock for Ops bedroom door to stop the stealing. One time the mother chased him up the stairs, Op got into his room quickly and shut and locked the door, the mother slammed herself into the door and landed on the floor. The mother actually tried to send Op to military school, but the dad vetoed that. After the dad found out that his wife had forged his signature on the paperwork for the military school, he told her that if things kept up he'd divorce her. I think the mother even drank a bit and one night had an accident and didn't make it to the toilet and I think she slipped on her own crap, and Op got blamed for it, but not positive on this part. He then found out that she had been having an affair, so they did divorce, and as told in this part, Op ended up living with his dad.
So why the hell didn’t he??! I’m sick of these instances where the OP isn’t strong enough to stand up to asshole relatives!! If I was in his place, I would’ve thrown BOTH those narcissistic bitches out by their hair, and threaten to arrest them if they ever came back!! File restraining orders to kick them fully out of your life forever!!
"Me and my GF read enough reddit stories to know where this was going" Aaand just like that I could no longer suspend my disbeleif. His mother and sister being absolute karens? Sure I can buy that Karen mom spouting a Disney villain speech? A tad dramatacised maybe but ok. A redditor having a GF? Now you've lost me.
My mom used to do that to me and always said “as long as you’re under my roof….” At 17 I got a job and moved out. About 20 years ago my mom showed up to my place unannounced and started nitpicking it and myself and I said “don’t disrespect me in my own house where I own everything and pay all the bills.” She kept talking sh!t so I kicked her out! I’m now 45 and my mom respects my time, my place, and myself! I’ve also just walked away in the middle of conversations when I feel she’s making judgements or being the slightest bit disrespectful. Now she wont say sh!t nor offer her advice or opinions and LIFE IS GREAT!!

I was raised a scapegoat myself by a narc. My younger brother was the golden child. I escaped the clutches of my witch mother and spent my life healing from the abusive neglect I suffered as a child. My brother, meanwhile, has become a full blown narc himself. What passed for my mother's love was demonstrably more damaging than her indifference; much like this story.
My older brother was the golden child. At an early age, my father told me not to expect a financial inheritance. As a child, I believed everything my father told me. I grew up neglected and adjusted my life accordingly and not expecting a financial inheritance. I moved out and far away. I survived and thrived without my father in my life. Older brother and father's golden boy dropped out of college and became a derelict.
even though the dad was very business oriented he still showed a great deal of love and affection for his son in his own way *that* is a gigachad father right there
My mother is ready to give her everything for me. And what this taught me was that I will also do everything for my mother and my everything is hers. So its the parents duty to raise their children right.
@@R3TR0J4N that's a debt I have that my parents dont want to be paid. Not joking, all they want is a nice and cozy lifestyle and nothing else. And since they gave the chance to be high, it is actually not a problem for me to provide those things to them.

@@alpharusher-unstoppable7946 i will give you some examples since you are trying to gaslight me and then u can proceed to tell me how perfect my childhood was. when i was six i saw my father beat my mother into a pulp, so in order to stop him i took the biggest knife i could find in the kitchen and screamed at him, that if he wouldn't stop i was going to kill myself. i had learned that from my mother who would pretend to commit suicide on a regular basis or chase me around the apartment with that same knife. also she would beat me up when i did not want to say that i loved her until i did while crying. as a matter of fact they did put a roof over my head and i was only neglected and starving half of the time. so i guess that qualifies as a perfect childhood to you.

You're not a jerk at all, they're both complete narcissists and that's your house. I look forward to part 3 cause I desperately hope that a restraining order happened!! Plus, how would your sister even afford the house?
I love how most moms argument is that they gave birth to you and they say it like u asked for that and u wanted this and it was the best thing that ever happened to you like it wasnt her choice to give birth to you
His sister is another level of spoiled like who snoops around your house then say “mommy it’s perfect” like she already owns the house that isn’t her like wtf
This story hit hard, thanks for sharing and affirming what I have learned through difficult experiences - toxic relatives need very firm boundaries. I have a very toxic sister who is still waging a campaign to move into the house my father left me and my mom. I don't know she believed that she could show such pure hatred for her relatives and still feel we owe her something. Narcissistic lunacy can be so draining, you have to keep your distance from them even if they're family.
I can remember sitting with my ex, her mom, sister and 18 year old niece. They're all terribly self centered, and were talking about the mother's BF making good money but not spreading it around enough. These were adults, three of which had ZERO justification for receiving anything from him, and yet you'd think he was downright evil. I was horrified, and probably looked as much. The mom looked at me and said "Don't worry, we'd never talk about you like this" with a mischievous smile. I've never felt the presence of evil so strong in my life. They were a coven, manipulating and using men for their pleasure to be discarded once their use wore out. Thank God I got the hell away from them. My stomach and heart thanked me the moment I left...
This brother, this man, has gone through a lot in life. I’m glad he had a great relationship with his father and worked hard to get where he is today. I’m also happy he’s got such a great girlfriend supporting him.
Any creature can give birth. But it takes a special one to be a parent. The "mother" definitely falls into the "creature" category and not the "parent" category. I'm glad the guy fought back against his entitled "mother" and "sister."
Dude should have mentioned there is also a place in hell for adulterers and lousy mothers. Damn man I hope you show all your future kids equal love and raise them to be functioning adults like yourself.

first his sister and mother voice is incredible
second i hope it was just a damn story
The mother had already received the marital house in the divorce plus alimony and child support and the majority of what was in the house. The fact that their father gave her ANYTHING is amazing in and of itself. I understand why their father gave so little to the daughter… she didn’t have much of a relationship with her father and she only cared about him for his money. OP, his son, moved in with him as soon as he possibly could. He worked with him and spent as much time with him as he could. He truly loved his father. He didn’t care about what he had. He cared about the man, the Dad, the mentor. They all got what they deserved.
he gave her that token amount so that she couldnt try to contest the will, it's standard practice
iam just going to say 4:20
Why does the mom sound like the teacher from the amazing world of gumball😂😂😂

Guessing the mother took stuff from him without a fuss all throughout his childhood and was shocked her son is an adult
According to the story, the sister routinely stole from him. And so she of course decided to escalate to trying to steal his house.
The mother probably told the sister "I am god, so I can decide. I promise you you'll have your own house now" it would explain many things.
even though the dad was very business oriented he still showed a great deal of love and affection for his son in his own way
*that* is a gigachad father right there

My mother is ready to give her everything for me. And what this taught me was that I will also do everything for my mother and my everything is hers. So its the parents duty to raise their children right.
