This video pretty much sold me on this one. Going to order one up and put a descent scope on it. Love these lever action rifles. I have a 1952 Winchester model 94 , .32 special which I can't hardly find ammo for. This Henry will put a smile on my face.
You forget to mention that your Winchester 9422 is made with all steel, not a zinc alloy like the Henry. Also, you can get them on Gunbroker if you're willing to pay through the nose for one. When I bought my Golden Boy (at a local gun shop) for $500, they also had a used (and in good shape) 9422 for sale for the same price. I chose the Henry because of their good company support and because Winchester no longer makes the 9422. I've had loads of fun with the Henry. A good rifle for the money, for sure. I just wish they made it with either blued steel or real brass for the receiver cover and not just for the butt plate. There's a reason why many consider the all steel, Marlin 39-A the best built lever action .22 ever made. There's talk of Ruger remaking this classic firearm at some point.
Love 22 WMR. But just for can killing and small game I would go .22LR for price per round. Henry's even cycle the dreaded Remungton Golden Bullets. So even the cheapest bulk ammo cycles really well with them.
Great video Ronbo. I just picked up a Ruger Single Six Stainless and it came with a 22 magnum cylinder I love it but it's loud especially inside. I like the skinner peep sights. Thanks again all the best!
If it is accurate let see some paper tests at 30 and 50 yd. I had a Henry that would do a 3" group at 25 yd on a good day, Accurate is a dime size group at 30 and 50yd. Think Henry should come up with rotary mag for the leaver .22 LR mag and free float the barrel. They could take some lessons from Savage on making a accurate barrel.
Since the CCI Stinger 22 LR casing is slightly longer than the standard 22 LR casing, can the Stinger cartridge be shot out of the Henry 22 wmr lever action rifle?

Gotta love Henry lever guns. I have a 357 that has been great
They are superb firearms.
Thanks, Chris GrandSlamRonbo
You are one righteous dude! You are amazing my friend! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the boy!
Wanna get one of these for my 19th birthday, and they look just absolutely amazing! Too many people brush off .22 but I love it
The wallet loves .22 too 😅

I like this old guy. He's good lol *edit how dare he waste sacred rootbeer
Glad you enjoy it. It's alien root beer and needs to be neutralized.
@@GUNS-GDC only good reason I can think of
I want one of those Henry’s in 22 magnum with the pump action. Thanks for the video.
Glad you enjoyed the video Iron Mike. We have plenty of beautiful Henry's new and used on our site. They are sweet rifles.

😂 This guy cracks me up. He's awesome.

Right on KD Cowboy. Ruger Single Six's are very nice. Get out there and go shooting. It's fun! Glad you like the video.
Great video!
Thanks, kdcowboy! I was really impressed by the accuracy and smooth action of the Goldenboy GrandSlamRonbo
This guy is having a barrel of fun!
Yes he is.
LV the rifle brand caliber!
You my friend just taught me how to load a lever action 😂
Beautiful Gun! want one!
Plenty of them on our site!
Wish Henry made this Golden Boy with a 24" barrel like the Frontier model.
I love that rifle, I just wish they made it with a loading gate
I haven't seen any lever action .22 rifles with a loading gate.
Just bought 2 of them one for my son an one for my grandson.
Right on!
Man, Id love to have the root beer this guy is drinking for all that energy
“How bout the cam…not the camera!” lol
Would be really cool in 25-20.

Not the camera 😂
Ronbo's a real joker.
How did he see if the target was hit?
can you fire .22 long rifle in the same gun?
Yes hi can, she say loading with 16 rounds, 22 lr. or 12 rounds, 22 mag.
Very nice Rifle, but pleace in all steel ,and a loading gat, and, 22 lr. and ,22 mag. ammunition.
Give me one!
Area 51 is in Nevada 🤔
Barf zinc alloy hot wheels guns
Henry Golden Boy is a fine rifle . But it's NOT even close to the quality of the Winchester 😅
