@@mkleczynskiAlso DAHER recommends not taxiing with flaps in TO position. Engage TO flaps at short line is procedural in 940 checklist. Is it different in 960 CL?
Try to avoid wearing any synthetic (nylon, etc.) clothes while flying. In a fire it melts and sticks to the skin and may make the difference surviving a post crash fire. Beside Nomex, wool is a good compromise.
Couldn't quickly find anything in the literate on this. Somewhere between a passenger in a jet during takeoff and a piston aircraft. It's loud enough that you want noise canceling. All my videos have the GoPro's audio reduced from engine noise.
@@mkleczynski thanks. I have flown Boeings / McDonald Douglass my whole career ( recently retired) I’ve thought flying the PC12 or TBM would be a wonderful airplane to fly.
Me neither. This will be my last video with the 360 view camera. Check out my other videos for the 3 camera ones and let me know if you think that’s better!
@@mkleczynski Agreed as well, it’s a beer concept, but feel it fails to deliver. I have one looking forward on the dash, one looking back towards pilot/copilot, one looking at gauges, one looking Left, one looking Right and I record the iPad for route, weather, approach plates, etc…. And an independent digital voice recorder (lost too many videos due to GoPros dying, so we have battery packs and switched to DJI as the charge while recording) We sync them all and run them all full duration of the flight then cut out the dead spaces!
Thanks for the videos as a new pilot i learn so much from just watching routine flight procedures. Keep the videos coming!
I learned so much watching CitationMax and steveo1kinevo on UA-cam.
Hey Marcin. Let's see what that beautiful bird looks like from the outside. Great video as usual by the way.
The Five blade has to make a difference on Climb and Cruise at the Flight levels
Love the vids. Thanks.
I like how the main display shows the taxiway name.
agrreed, awesome !!
Nice video again. Thx for taking us with you onboard in this beautiful TBM. One question, do you use the thrust reverser to brake while taxiing?
Not on the 960, just brakes. I believe in the 940 you lifted the throttle gate to do so.

@@Jimmer-Space88agreed, bad form on my part. I never want to forget. I’ve done a better job recently to set flaps at hold short line instead.
New subscriber. Enjoy the channel. How do you capture audio? I’m always looking for better ways.
I'm just using the GoPro to headset adapter from MyPilotStore. There's a few varieties so make sure you pick the one for your specific plugs.
Nice shirt!!!

Why tap breaks on lift off?
Stop wheels from spinning and potentially damaging the underbelly while retracting.
Good to know I had no idea
Flightradar24 says your aircraft is a TBM940
What is the average decibel level in the cockpit

Gopro on top and underside of the wings!
On a TBM?
BETA sounds great
How much time/training did you have to do to make the transition you did from the Cirrus to this TBM ?
Transition training with SIMCOM and then 100 flight hours with a mentor pilot.
@@mkleczynski 100 hours, that's a chunk for sure. You a hired pilot ??

Assume passengers need headsets as well for common conversation ?
While in cruise, you could probably easily chat in the back without headsets but it's just easier to do so with them.
